Back to work again!

 Hello Woofers!

Well now, I don't know about you but this messing about with the clocks disturbs my sleep pattern almost all the way until it changes again in Spring Time!

Take this morning, there I was fast asleep when suddenly I get this urge to get up even though it's still dark. So, thinking I'm late, I jump up and give Old Two Legs ear a good bashing and run-down stairs so I can get out in the garden for an early morning wee!

I look at the clock on my way through the kitchen and see it's an hour earlier than my body clock says it is!

So, back to bed, after a wee, say sorry to OTL and try to get back to sleep for an hour!

OTL couldn't get back to sleep and ends up getting up ten minutes earlier, walking into the bedroom door on his wat to get a shower!

We did how ever see a little sunrise!

 

Well, technically it's a sunrise but not what I would call spectacular!

The afternoon was better, well, at least I could see the grass and the sea! OTL brought the tennis ball and we had a game of ‘Chase' and of course I ran after the ball but picked it up, ran on further, stopped, did a wee on it and left it for OTL to pick up!

Well, the balls back there but it's a little damp!

There seems to be a lot more of the small fungi hiding in the grass, poking their heads up through the wet grass. It looks like the big dinner plate sized ones have all got chopped up in the grass mowing machine!

There is this type.

....and there is this type which looks like the last one!

We went through the forest looking for fungi but could only find leaves with that black fungi on the leaves that appears just before the leaves get soaking wet and rotten!

Still, the trees look pretty and it won't be long before the leaves all drop.

OTL has been playing on the computer, end of the month stuff and he is wondering why the supplier hasn't sent the invoices!

Sounds like fun!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy here again.

Well, how many didn't remember that the clocks went back an hour last night?

Old Two Legs got it all wrong and this morning when I went to wake him up, he was still fast asleep when I jumped up on the bed. 

I decided to wake him up and slapped the side of his head and stuck my cold, wet nose in his ear!

He woke up but was still half asleep when he looked at the clock by the side of the bed!

It was still dark when we left home and headed off to the seaside but it was raining and the sunrise was nothing like a sunrise worth photographing!

I didn't hang about, a swift wee and a poo then home. When we got back The Missus was ripping a chicken apart, all warm and greasy!

Luverly stuff!

After the chicken, I headed off to my bed under the desk for a snooze before the lunchtime walk.

Lunchtime we were out again and guess what?

It was raining!

This time it was wet enough to have my rain coat on and OTL reckons it is getting a bit tatty around the edges. I can see a trip up to the Doggy Shop will happen next week!

So, sorry about the lack of photos, maybe we will be lucky as the week goes on.

Off the see the F1 Racing, looks like it could be a good race.

It's getting warmer!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy here again.

Well, I don't know about you but the bed has got the big winter duvet on and to be honest, I'd rather the summer one was back on the bed!

I know that down here in the South East we get the warm weather but it's getting just a tad too warm for me!

You know, it was so warm that Old Two Legs got woken up by me, at four thirty, 'cos I thought it was time to get up!

It wasn't and OTL tried going back to sleep but to no avail!

Well, that means we were down on the sea front while it was still pitch black and OTL didn't even take his camera with him 'cos there was nothing to photograph!

Lunchtime was better, loads of sunshine and everyone was walking around in sweaters and T shirts!

I was looking forward to a dip in the sea but the tide was still out so all I could do was sniff the sniffs and fuss about looking for a good place to poo!

No, this is not right, maybe if I did a wee up the poo bin?

Just look at that sky over Southend, you know I had to stop for a breather, it was so warm!

Walking through the forest I didn't find any fungi, just dead leaves.

Mind you it was fun kicking up the leaves into piles along the path!

I reckon that the fungi will stay hidden until well into November, claws crossed!

Well, that's it for today, nothing exciting, mind you we got the F1 Racing on from Mexico, at least it is warm out there!
