It's Crampon time!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy here.

Well, it's arrived, I stuck my nose outside the front door and got a flake of sleet landed on my nose! On top of that there were drops of rain drops landing on the bald spot between my ears!

Now, the car had some sleet sticking to the windscreen wipers when OTL drove off.

When we arrived at the car park, OTL decided to leave the camera in the car due to the lack of water resistance being next to zero!

We got around the corner and got hit on the nose by a strong wind loaded with sleet and rain, I decided that after my morning poo, I'll turn around and head back to the car!

Going home we noticed that some of the vehicles had a great deal of snow piled up on their windscreen or bonnet. I reckon they must have come via Blue Bell Hill (a local mountain)!

We didn't stop to ask!

Lunchtime came and off we went again, expecting sunshine and balmy breezes.

The rain was coming down but horizontally!

OTL and I took the forest route which cut the wind and reduced the rain dripping on us!

Once again, we left the camera in the car as we don't want it dripping rain out of it!

Looking at the weather forecast I think we may be in for a week of bad weather so I'm going to keep my head down and get tucked up under my blanket to keep nice and warm until it gets warmer.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

What to do between walks!

Hello Woofers.

Daisy here.

Well, we have been warned by the weather forecaster that we have varying amounts of snow due in this location. I listened to them, got out my skis and snow shoes, put my woolly coat on and poked my nose out of the front door.

It wasn't even raining, just grey and cloudy!

Down on the sea front we didn't even see a threat of rain let alone snow!

Theres no snow to show!

Even heading back home after my walk there was no sign of snow!

Back home I took up my favourite position on my bed, on the desk, all warm and snuggly while OTL balanced the keyboard on his lap and tried to get on with some work!

I do love being here, it is just how I like to spend the morning!

I stayed on my bed all morning until my body clock told me it was getting close to our lunchtime walk and time, I woke OTL up.

You know I got this feeling it's time to go out again!

So, I sat at the top of the stairs until OTL dressed me up in my woolly coat and I eyeballed him until he put his coat and wellies on!

This is me giving him the old eyeball!

Lunchtime was a little boring, no woofers, a few sniffs and no snow! Mind you, I did see a hawthorn bush covered in blossom!

Now this is a sight to see on the path around the sea wall!

I'm off to see if I can get some nibbles!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.
