We went down to the woods today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you!

Today we saw the first Swallow of the year down on The Sea Wall. It went by us at such a speed that even Old Two Legs couldn't get a picture!

It's a good sign that Summer is on it's way but how long and how hot is another question!

As we got to the end of our morning stroll we came across a rubbish bin, a new rubbish bin, a rubbish bin that we now will call 'The Three Man Bin'!

It's The Three Man Bin!
Back home it was 'Doggy Scoff', not our favourite food, so a quick nibble then off for a second snooze!

OTL was playing games with Snowflake, they started off by moving the squeaky balls around the office, then OTL went down stairs and Snowflake chased him all the way down the stairs and back up again!

Now, Snowflake has a very best favourite squeaky ball and today she decided to have a cuddle with it when she went to bed for her second snooze of the day.

All together............Ahhhhhhh!

Snowflake jus' loves her ball!
Lunchtime came and we were off to town to deliver some stuff and get the car filled up with petrol. Of course, as we were so close, we just had to stop off at The Forrest!

Well, we haven't been there for such a long time 'cos it has been so wet and muddy. It was still muddy in parts but most of it was dry and of course, there is always a chance of catching a squirrel!

No Mud Yet!
OTL was looking out for the flowers starting to bloom, it will be soon that the leaves come out on the trees, then all the flowers will fade, so it is always worth getting a shot or two to see the transition between all the plants!

Daffs in the wood!
While OTL was playing with the flowers, we were off hunting squirrel. I stood very still and listened out for their rustling sounds.

Me, listening hard for squirrels!
Then Holly joined in listening for squirrels and you know what?

Nothing!

Not so much as a rustle!
Now either we are getting out of practice or those squirrels are staying in bed longer but we didn't even get a sniff of squirrel droppings, never mind a chance of a chase!

As Holly said, 'Back to the Rabbits'!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake (with her squeaky ball)

Visitors!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

What a wonderful day today, loads of sunshine, super walks a swim and The Girls visit us as well!

This morning we were up early, not that we wanted to get up early, it was just that Old Two Legs had to get the caravan home and parked up. We stayed behind 'cos the camp site doesn't allow dogs on the site at all! You can safely bet we won't be staying there in the future!

Our morning stroll was pretty uneventful 'cos there was no one about! I even managed to loose our ball, the one we found the other day!

When OTL got back, we had eaten our breakfast and he had to dig out some biscuits so that Holly would eat them and her pills at the same time!

It's always fun with OTL and pills!

A bit later The Girls turned up with their Mum, there was Miss Sassy

Sassy
 Then there was Miss Tilly

Miss Tilly in her Tutu!
We had a great time chasing around the house and we even went up stairs to see Snowflake so The Girls could give her a stroke. OTL made sure that Snowflake was well into her Ferretone before letting The Girls stroke her though!

Miss Snowflake behaved herself perfectly and didn't eat anyone!

Our lunchtime walk was down on The Sea Wall and we saw three workmen assembling a rubbish bin. Now, there's a joke about 'How Many Workmen Does It Take To Assemble A Bin?'

Well, we have found out now, THREE!

How Many Workmen Does It Take?
I decided it was warm enough for swim, so, before OTL could stop me, I dashed into the sea! You know, it wasn't that bad but the muddy stuff was getting between my claws, so I decided that a paddle was called for instead of a swim!

It's a bit Quaggy!
Holly was playing her normal jokes, she found a bit of wood and pretended to be a Bozo and started to throw it around!

Bozo's R Us!
Back home again and we had some more fun, well The Girls did, they made some birthday cards for their Daddy. We went to sleep and I made sure I was on OTL's bed as well!

It was fun seeing the girls again and we will be seeing them again soon 'cos we are doing some baby sitting, but we won't be taking Snowflake 'cos it's just for one evening and anyway, Snowflake may eat the Hamster!

Good Night from Miss Tilly

and it's Good night from Miss Sassy as well!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake.

PS. Archie, sorry to hear you got a Bozo staying with you, but look on the bright side, you can teach him some super tricks, like rolling in Fox Poo!

Sun Shine or Wot!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you.

This morning Snowflake has been rushing around the house and in the end she just got all worn out!

It's exhausting being a Ferret!
What a super sunny day it has been, except when Old Two Legs wanted to try picking the vinyl writing off the little car, the sun went in and it began to rain!

We were out early this morning for our run 'cos we took Auntie Sheila and The Missus down to the town to catch a train up to Ally Pally, it's a 'Card Thing'!

All Glitter and Peel Off's!

Mind you, we have been told that Archie's mum, Elaine (A Wonderful Woman!), was there, but without Archie, not that we blame him, the sniff of all that glue would send us around the bend as well!

TM came back with loads of stuff, I wonder if she will ever use it?

OTL and us went down to The New Park for a super run around.

We met up with some Beef Steak!

What do you mean 'Frying Steak?'

We got intro introduced to Charley!

Hello Girls!
Then off to pick up the caravan from the servicing place. We had great fun running in between the caravans chasing rabbits until OTL caught us and we had to go back inside the car!

Because it's Sunday, there are loads of visitors to our village and there are too many badly parked cars to be able to get the caravan in between them, so OTL has parked the van at a local caravan site overnight, just to give the visitors time to go away!

Now, because of that, we were late getting back and late getting our breakfast and Holly was late getting her medicine!

What was even worse, we were late going for our lunchtime walk, more like mid afternoon walk!

It was OK, sun shine and people on the beach, fishermen catching nothing!

Busy Catching Nothin'!
Then there were the visiting woofers to woof at. You can tell they are visitors 'cos they are kept on their leads and tied up to the railings!

Where am I, any where near Dartford?
As it was High Tide, I fancied going in for a swim but OTL advised against it 'cos the water was too cold!
OK, how about a paddle then?
Holly said that she didn't do Sea Paddles but was happy to sit in the shade and watch the world go by!
Jus' Watching The World Go By!
Just as we were settling down, TM phoned OTL to 'come and get her' which was OK but OTL made sure he finished his cup of tea first!

It was good to see TM and Auntie Sheila back again and we even said 'Hello' to Auntie Karen (The Cat Woman) 'cos she had been up to Ally Pally as well!

I wonder if they do Ferret Shows at Ally Pally?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake

Ferret on a Mission!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake.

The sun was out this morning, not very bright and not so warm but even so, Snowflake asked if she could come with us for a walk!

Off we all went, down to The Sea Wall and Holly and I went off to sniff the sniffs and see if there were any rabbits to chase!

Old Two Legs and Snowflake took the short cut and arrived at the sea wall where the fun began!

Snowflake got her nose twitching and off she went, like a ferret possessed!

I joined in the sniffin and I must admit, I did do a 'Sniff Job' on Snowflakes tail!

She was in and out of the grass and at one time tried the death defying leap from the Sea Wall to the Beach!

After a while we let Snowflake go back to the car 'cos we want to have a run on the beach and she may get trodden on!

On top of that, we found some whelk egg sacks that we used as balls to throw around, it was great fun!
On me 'ead Sis!
Holly had a good run along the wall and said she was feeling a lot better now and on top of that, her tummy had stopped 'Grumbling'!

So it looks like the pills are working!

Looking Good, Miss Holly!
We had a fun day with OTL, chasing around and even playing with Snowflakes Squeaky Toys!

She was running around all over the house chasing every squeak!

Tomorrow it should be warmer, so OTL is planning to have another bash at the vinyl sign writing on the little car, now, that should be fun!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake

Getting better and getting Wet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

Last night was good, very good, in fact it was the best for a few days. Holly slept all the way through without wanting to go out in the middle of the night!

So, that means she is getting better!

We've got some stuff that Old Two Legs has to shove down the side of her jaw, a sort of paste stuff that seems OK but only after you have swallowed it!

Plus there are a couple of tablets she has to take as well and as normal, she doesn't want to take them. It's a super game we play with OTL but in the end we have to take them or we won't get better!

Our morning walk was full of promise, well, it looked like it was going to be sunny, then it decided it wasn't!

Maybe it will and maybe it won't!
Holly and OTL had a kick about on the beach with the ball!

Come on then, try!
On the way back to the car we bumped into a couple of rabbits and if it weren't for the lead, we reckon we could have had them, no trouble!

If you think your fast enough!
Back home to some Lambs Heart and a snooze until lunch time when we all went out again, including Snowflake! Well, she had been rattling on her door to be let out and OTL decided it would be a good idea to have another run down on the beach.

I was just getting into the game of 'Chase' with Snowflake when OTL gave me the 'Warning'. I could tell by the way he called my name he meant that I mustn't hurt her!

As if!

Unfortunately, about half way through the walk, it rained, I mean really rained and we all got soaked, including Snowflake who didn't want to go inside OTL's coat!

Sometimes she can be a Soppy Ferret!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly and a wet ferret called Snowflake!

Poor Holly :-(

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

Today has not been a sunny as we would have liked, in fact we have not seen the sun at all! We thought the weatherman said it was going to get all 'Hot & Sunny' instead of grey and cold!

Out walking this morning, Old Two Legs spotted something not right with Holly and telephoned the vet to make an appointment. There was an appointment available for tomorrow morning or this afternoon but after OTL had a 'chat' we managed an appointment for one hours time!

He can be so persuasive sometimes!

Well the result was, antibiotics, some stuff to bung her up and a vet bill that made OTL cry!

Back home she got all the 'treatment' and the 'cuddles' and even got my place on the sofa to have a snooze!

She said she didn't feel like anything to eat, again, which really is not our Holly, but, no, I couldn't eat it for her!

So that's about it today, OTL has been running around like a blue tailed fly and he has been trying to get the vinyl sign writing off the little car but it has been on there for eight years and seems to have put down roots. He has been using a jet washer to blast the stuff off but it is very slow and he is getting soaking wet!

Any one got any suggestions? He has even sprayed WD40 onto it and will try the jet wash again tomorrow!

So, no pictures for you today and Snowflake is in the naughty corner as well.

She was in OTL's drawer, sorting out the stuff and when OTL put his hand in there to get something out, she sunk her fangs into his hand, by mistake, but it still made OTL jump, and bleed!

Things will get better tomorrow and so will Holly and so will OTL's hand and so will the little car.

I'm OK, it's the rest of them!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly (Sore Butt) & Snowflake (From the naughty corner)

Missed Rabbits and a Lost Holly!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you.

Good news, Holly only got Old Two Legs up twice last night, so her tummy is getting better, but I reckon a couple more days and she should be OK. Mind you, she says she has never had such a well washed butt!

This morning we were down on The Sea Wall and had a 'Result', we found our old ball that got lost in the grass, it was the well chewed one but as long as we got it back, that's all that matters!

For the first time for ages, we saw a couple of Wormy Men out on the mud having a dig.

The Long Walk of the Wormy Man!
We also found a black flag on the grass, well, OK, so it turned out to be a plastic bag, but it still looked like a flag!

Well, it Could have been a Flag!
We got to the Rabbit Bushes and we spotted a couple sitting outside.

Here come the Doggy's!
So we gave chase and as normal, they disappeared into the bushes where we couldn't go.

Come on OUT!
That was until one of the big ones suddenly shot out of the bushes shouting 'Yah! Boo! Doggy's!'

Catch Me if You Can!
That was it! We both took off after this upstart, it was heading towards the church yard that had been fenced off, Holly and I were in 'Full Charge Mode' and blow me down didn't the rabbit go straight through the fence between the uprights!

Well, we couldn't get through 'cos we are a little wider than a rabbit, so Holly and I set off looking for a hole in the fence or a place where we could get underneath.

Holly found a hole under the fence and set off again after the rabbit, but she didn't see where it had gone! I was rushing around the outside looking for a way in and trying to spot the rabbit, we were unsuccessful on both accounts!

OTL had been following us across the grass and had spotted the rabbit doubling back towards the Rabbit Bushes.

Fooled Them, I Fooled Them!

Then it stopped in a clump of grass to see if we were following. OTL sort of sneaked up along side the clump and managed to get a couple of shots of the rabbit before heading off to find us!

Rabbit's in the grass and you Can't See Me!
He found me, charging around a bramble bush, still hunting rabbit but couldn't find Holly. He was calling and whistling and calling her but nothing! Then he spots her on the other side of the fence trying to find a way out, which she couldn't!

I got marched back to the car and OTL went off to search the Church Yard for a way to get Holly out. In the end he called her to the gate where he put his arm through the uprights and lifted her right over the top and let her rest on top of his head!

That was until he got his arm out and lowered her to the ground! She was a bit wet and damp and very glad to be back with OTL!

The only down side to it all was, I've pulled a muscle or something in my back leg, it's a recurring problem that comes back if I do too much hard chasing or running around!

A couple of  anti inflammatory pills from the vet normally gets me back up and running and of course, a snooze on the bed helps as well!

I skipped the lunch time outing and Holly went out chasing cats across the football field, but they got away as well!

So, at the moment, I'm curled around OTL's shoulders feeling sorry for myself, while he plays on the computer!

We missed out on taking Snowflake down to the beach again, but maybe tomorrow?

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy (Limping), Holly (Asleep) & Snowflake (Still Snoozing)

OTL's getting good at this!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

What happened to the weather? Sunday it was super sun shine but today, windy, wet and a bit chilly!

Even Snowflake decided that she would stay at home instead of visiting the beach!

Holly has not been feeling too well, she has eaten something that has disagreed with her and upset her tummy.

It's a good job she can give one of her 'Loud Woofs' when she wants to go out 'cos it takes a Big Woof to wake up Old Two Legs from his slumber!

Well, she Woofed four times last night and when she came back in from the garden, there was OTL to wash her butt for her, all together now......aaaahhh!

We had a good run this morning, down to the beach, did what we had to then back to the car! It was windy, wet and decidedly not the weather for doggies!

Come On! Back Home!

We have, well OTL has, been playing with the YouTube link and we reckon he is almost there now and to prove it, here's a bit we missed from Sunday's video!

Thanks PeeJay, we found the Embed link!

Miss Chuckles? That's not what he called her when she nipped him!

Lunch time we were down The Sea Wall again and the tide was right in, in fact it was at the very point where it turns and goes out again. I was walking along the wall and got splashed by some spray from a wave as it crashed against the wall!

It was one like this that splashed me!
Holly and OTL were laughing their tails off 'cos I couldn't see it coming!

OTL spotted a rabbit in the grass, just sitting there and we missed it all together!

If I sit still they won't see me at all!
We had seen some workmen digging holes and on our way back to the car we came across one of these holes full of concrete.

Holly said it would be a good idea if we walked over it so that our paw prints would be there for years and we would be famous!

We ran towards the hole and jumped in, trouble was, it was hard and dry and wasn't going to have Daisy & Holly Paw Prints for ever!

You can't win them all!

Ready, Steady..........Jump!
With a bit of luck, OTL may be playing with the Camcorder tomorrow!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly and Snowflake

Busy Busy and The Missus Returns!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

Well, after yesterdays fun and games we have up loaded the video to YouTube, thanks PeeJay for the advice, and if you want to see the whole thing :-

Now I know that Old Two Legs has not got full control of the video editing program and somehow we seem to have chopped a bit off the end and replayed the bit where Snowflake crawls down his arm, but he will get better, promise!
Thanks to PeterC who explained the 'Bushy Tail' effect, you can see that she was in the 'Excited' mode and after a while she settled down. So, I can see more trips down to The Sea Wall for Snowflake, but only when the sun shines!
It was a bit 'breezy' this morning and even OTL had his hood up!  Mind you it was sunny, well, sort of, the sun was poking through the clouds and made a colourful splash across the estuary!

A Golden Morning
We met up with Max & Oscar and Max confirmed that his lump on the neck was a cyst and after getting a needle in his rump from the vet, it has all cleared up now! So, that was good news!

and the Lumps All Gone Now!
We got introduced to a new doggy called Teddy, he is a Westie and a little bit of a 'Pudding', well we were not too sure if it was his long coat or his waist line that made him look like a 'Pudding' !

Teddy says 'Hello'
Then, back home to wait for OTL to load the caravan up for a trip to the Service Department but before we left, The Missus arrived back from her baby sitting duties!

Well, both Holly and me almost ran out of 'Lick'!

It was good to have her back, but it also means that we can't have our 'Wild Nights' like we do when she's away!

After dropping the caravan off, we stopped off at the New Park for a run around, it made a change to go there and not get blown over by a howling wind!
Back home to catch up on our snoozing and see if OTL is worth mugging for his dinner!
See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake (Super Star!)

Snowflakes First Outing!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you today!

Hasn't it been a super day? The wind had dropped right off and the sun has been shining all day!

OK, when we went out first thing there was frost on the windows and Old Two Legs had to scrape it off before we could go down to The Sea Wall.

We got back and OTL finished clearing up after last nights fun and games. Holly and I had a carrot each and, well, they do crumble a bit when you're chewing them but they dry up over night and then OTL gets the vacuum cleaner out and gets rid of the carrot crumbs!

About ten thirty, we got a bit restless, the sun was shining and all OTL was doing was playing on his computer, Snowflake had been for a run around the lounge and hid another of her squeaky toys where OTL can't find it and we were all getting bored.

So, I did the old 'Puppy Look' and finally he got the message, WALKIES!

Holly suggested it would be a good idea to take Snowflake, well it was warm, no wind and  the tide was in!

So, here is The Movie!

We want to know why the hair on Snowflakes tail stands up like it does? We can't do that and we think it looks great!

We have made another version of this video but it is 219 MB long and Blogger won't let us load it up!

Maybe over the next few days we will up load bits so you get to see it all, a sort of serial!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly & 'Super Star' Snowflake!
