This is little Bella when she was just a little puppy all of four years ago.


It was a close thing but The Missus wanted to keep little Bella but with Holly and I here, she didn't know if Holly and I would eat her!

This morning it was rather windy again and OTL's eyes were watering.

Mind you, that didn't stop him having a bash at tuning the banjo again. Trouble is, the strings are flat and he doesn't have a new set to put on and the local music shop is closed!

Onto the Internetty he found a local banjo man who runs several clubs and offers to restring and tune your banjo for you but he is not answering his phone or reading the email!

OTL is not a happy puppy!

So, if the banjo is unplayable, he'll have a bash on the guitar but the strings are old and are rather flat as well. mind you, he had a bash this morning trying to play some of the old tunes.

He wasn't very good but the idea is to harden up his fingertips but at the moment all he is doing is making his fingers sore!

Lunchtime the wind was stronger and the waves were bigger than yesterday!

Wet and windy!

Eric came with us again today but it took him a while to get out of the Ferret Bag!

No thanks, it is warm and out of the wind in here!

OTL got Eric out a few times but all he did was to crouch down and refuse to walk after OTL until OTL stopped and let Eric run up his leg!

If you don't pick me up I'll wee in your pocket!

 Once we got over the hill, the wind dropped and he was out and running. He was chasing Holly and I but we got longer legs than him and he got left behind!

Slow down you two!

 We were quicker than Eric but when we got to the car park Eric ran across the car park and got to the car first!

Just cos we stopped for a sniff or two!

OTL is depressed today cos he had to pay the VAT man!

That VAT Man must have a lot of money according to OTL!

A Trip to the Beach for Eric.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Well, the sun may be out and the clouds have blown away but the wind wot blew the clouds away brought a cold wind to chill the tail!

We climbed up to the top of the hill and saw the 'White Horses' on the waves, impressive but chilly!

Straight in off the North Sea!

It was getting very close to high tide and the sea was creeping up the sea wall, it wouldn't be long before the beach would be washed clean by the sea.

 As we rounded the corner we saw the water  was half way up the beach so Holly and I didn't go down but Old Two Legs did!

Amazing! OTL and Eric were digging holes and building sandcastles!

Quick, down on the beach before it gets washed away!

The waves were pounding on the beach while Holly and I were stuck up on the sea wall watching OTL and Eric playing games!

Eric said that he wasn't going in for a swim cos it was just too cold!

Looks like it could have ice bergs!

 Eric dug a few holes but said that the wet sand was a bit too chilly for his paws. And then headed for OTL and a warm Ferret Bag!

OK, enough hole digging for today!

 Just as OTL and Eric were heading for the concrete stairs I decided I really needed a run on the beach! Holly stayed up on the sea wall where she had fun sniffing the sniffs!

Yar Hooo! Low flying woofer coming through!

 We then headed off to the forest where we spotted a West Highland Terrier having a poo on the side of the path. The Two Legs with him kept looking over to OTL while he stood there looking at her. In the end she called over to ask OTL if he had a spare poo bag!

Now, what would she have done if OTL wasn't watching?

Miss Wendy stayed in bed and said that she wouldn't be coming out for a walk until it warmed up and the wind stopped blowing!

Snoozy Sunday

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again.

I just love the warm, sunny Sundays. Today was sort of like that, except that the wind was up and made this sunny, warm day rather cold when the wind was blowing!

Mind you, Eric came with us for the midday walk and spent most of the time hiding in the Ferret Bag!

Now it's not as though he feels the cold that much, he still has his winter coat on and although he is starting to shed his coat there is still enough to keep him warm.

Mind you, once we got out of the wind, he did start to walk down the forest path to the car park, well that was the plan until a big Sheepdog Woofer came bounding down the path looking for and early lunch!

Old Two Legs had been watching and after Eric got picked up and stored safely in the bag, OTL gave the woofer a warning, held his hind up in front of the woofer and said 'NO!'

It's a good job the woofer understood what OTL said cos he might have jumped up at OTL and got told off good and proper!

It wasn't long before he ran off in another direction and Eric got to race across the car park!

No pictures today and OTL has been playing with the banjo again. He is OK with the guitar, that has tuned but the banjo keeps going wobbly!

Chilly Again!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

So, what has happened to the sun? I mean, it's gone! We are back to the windy, cloudy and draughty walkies!

When we got down to the Sea Wall there was no one, I mean like everyone had gone!

Was it something I sniffed?

We had got as far as the steps down to the beach when young Jackie came along with her Two Legs. Jackie loves Old Two Legs and as normal she got her tail tickled!

Holly showed off cos she hadn't got a tickle all day!

So, wot's she got that I haven't?

Down on the beach Holly and I had fun digging holes and then rolling in them!

Quick, before he tells us not to roll in it!

It wasn't long before Holly was digging holes and then diving in and covering herself with sand and sniffs!

I just love the Seaweed sniff best of all!

 Once we got off the beach OTL started looking in the weeds for insects and bugs. We spotted a Shield Bug, the first this year and of course he just had to take a photo!

There we are, a green Shield Bug trying to look like a leaf!

Heading back to the car park we noticed that the Daffodillies had burst into bloom down eack side of the path.

Pretty innit?

Now, what we need is some Primrosses in front of the Daffodillies!

Back home The Missus was watching a thing on FaceAche all about Glue Sloshing, well, it makes a change from making a video about inky things!

Eric has been showing off, TM has hidden all the Smoothies in a Tupperware plastic box and he can't get the lid off, you should see him kicking the box off the office desk!

OTL got a message from Amazon telling him that they have posted the latest episode of the Star Wars films called The Rise of Skywalker and it is in 4K Ultra HD which makes the colours fantastic!

So, Monday we will be sitting there with the head phones on and the volume turned up and, A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away............................POW!
