It's getting hotter!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

I don't know what it's like where you are but in North Kent it has been hot, blooming hot!

It was too warm first thing this morning when we went out. Normally we would have a game of 'Chase the Sniff' but today it was just a plod across the field, a couple of wee's then back home to breakfast!

Back home even the ferrets went into hiding and refused to rampage, more like wander and snooze!

One good thing about living close to the sea is that if there is a breeze, we get it and although is was  warm and sunny, there was still a breeze, not much but a breeze never the less.

One thing spoilt the walk, no water!

It was only wet miles out to sea!

Now, here is a sight you've not seen for a while, two trees!

We'd show you the bench but there was a female Two Legs sunbathing on the bench!
That rig is still parked up in Sheerness docks, we some times see electric Arc Wielding on the deck.

It's still there!
We sat down on a bench and a whole load of TL's came marching past, I think they wanted the bench but there was no way we were going to move!

Find your own bench!
Sometimes we see small Hover Flies buzzing around but today there was a big one having a wash and brush up on an oak leaf as we passed.

..and a little sanitiser under my wings!
Back home there was nothing to do except enjoy the breeze blowing in the window!

It's going to be another hot one tomorrow, don't forget the Factor 35!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Looking Good!

Hello Woofers!

The Gangs here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, as planned, Old Two Legs managed to give us a walk this morning before he went out to work. Mind you, The Missus was left to clean the ferret cage and the ferrets managed to get a rampage in as well!

We were unsure of just how long OTL was planning to say out but surprise, surprise, he was back just before eleven.

That was just great 'cos Holly and I normally get an urge to have a walk just about that time!

Now Holly gets all excited when it's time to go out and she just has to have a woof as we go out the front door.

Today, woofing wasn't allowed cos TM was gabbing away doing her 'Daily Video' and she doesn't like woofing while she is gassing on about where to stick the smoothy!

OTL had a bright idea.

When we get washed and blown dry, OTL puts a sock thing over our head to keep the wind out of our eyes. Today he put the sock thing over Holly's head and over her eyes. Then, off we went down stairs and Holly was worrying about falling down the stairs, so, she didn't woof but rather ran down the stairs and out the front door without a woof!

Sorted!

Down on the beach we spotted some stupid Two Legs wandering all over the mud flats as the tide was coming in!

Now, when you consider that the mud flats are all soft and there is the possibility you could sink into the mud, it really is daft of anyone to go out walking!

Wot a bunch of Bozo's!
We stopped for a while at the bench and OTL wanted to take a picture of Holly and I in our new haircut.

As normal, Holly said she didn't want her picture taken and to be honest, I took some persuading!

Finally, he caught me, and honest, I didn't pose at all.

Much!
He used  the flash just to lighten up the highlights!
After that, it was back home for a nibble and a snooze.

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Snoozy Eric.

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, it's Tuesday and the weather is getting warmer. You can tell that cos Wendy was up at the cage door asking to go out first thing this morning. Mind you, Eric was rattling the cage door as well!

Our morning walk isn't long, just a quick trip around the football field for a wee and a poo then back for a snooze!

Old Two Legs has to go out tomorrow for a visit to a customer who is having problems, so that means we will be escorted around the field by The Missus, should be fun!

Lunchtime it was Eric’s turn to come out with us and just because she had to do some shopping, TM came for a walk along the sea front.

Eric was switching between getting carried and having a trot. Well, it was a bit warm and ferrets aren't too good at regulating their body temperature, not like us woofers who stick our tongues out or Two Legs wot get all sweaty!

TM was supposed to be in charge of Holly and I while OTL and Eric came up behind.

We had a game with TM, she would be walking behind us and Holly would jump down onto the beach and go snuffling around a family sitting on the beach who had bags full of food!

Up comes TM commanding Holly to 'Leave That Alone'!

Not that it stopped Holly and it was only when OTL added his command as well did Holly go charging onto the next family sitting on the beach surrounded with food bags!

Back in the car, OTL turned on the air conditioner and cool air was blown over us all.

While TM went into the Co-Op to do some shopping, Eric curled up in OTL's arms and with the cool air blowing over him, fell asleep!

After loading up all the shopping, TM sat in the car cuddling Eric who was still asleep, basking in the cool breeze from the air con!

Back home we all headed off to our snoozing places and TM had a parcel delivered.

There she was, on the phone to one of her glue slapping mates when this parcel arrived. 'Dunno who this is from' says TM who was trying to talk on the phone and open the parcel at the same time.

Finally, she got it open and squealed with delight, it was a box of flowers, roses I think, sent by some of her mates from the Village Hall Gang.

'Oh Look!' Says TM but OTL was heading off to his office to get away, his Hay fever was building up a head of steam and when he starts sneezing it sounds like thunder and goes on for ages!

When we got to the office, we found Eric, half in and half out of his sleeping bag, fast asleep!

One thing a ferret knows is how to sleep!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Washed, Sploshed and Butt Shaved!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

Today it has been what Old Two Legs calls 'Pleasantly Warm'.

It certainly has been warm enough for a dip in the sea!

Where I jumped in, I managed to stir up a load of mud and came out with my white bits a mucky shade of brown!

Wendy came out with us this morning and raced us back to the house. Lunchtime it was Eric who enjoyed a run along the beach.

We got back home in time for some lunch and OTL decided we needed a wash!

I mean, we had a wash three weeks ago and we got shaved then as well!

There was no getting away with it, Holly was marched into the shower and all the sniffs were washed off her back! I mean, that is just not fair!

What is worse, after poor Holly got done, I was dragged into the bathroom, thrown into the shower and got washed and sploshed!

I thought I could get away with being shaved but no, just cos I've had a grumbly tum a couple of times and had to get my butt washed, what did he do?

Shaved my butt!

It's a good job the sun is shining cos any cold wind would freeze my third eye!

Lunchtime it was Eric's turn for a run and he tried digging up the beach again!

Me? Digging?

Knowing we may get a wash, both Holly and I were hunting sniffs, just to make it worth while!

Quick! I've found a Foxy Sniff!

Eric enjoyed some time resting in the shadow of the bench before heading back to the car!

Maybe I'll have a swim in the water bowl!

So, there we are, Monday and what do we get?

Washed, Sploshed and Butt Shaved, who'd be a woofer!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
