Stabbed!

What a day, we got all wet and soggy first thing this morning, it seems that the water doesn't like draining away down this end of the world. Mind you, we are at sea level so we expect the odd puddle or two!

Yesterday and most of today Old Two Legs has been plonking away on the computer, seems he is trying to transfer shed loads of files from one computer to the network stowage things.

Trouble is, the computer doesn't always want the files 'cos it already has files with the same name so OTL has to change the name. Now that is OK when you have one or two but the number OTL has made his head hurt!

Lunchtime, after our walk, OTL and The Missus went off for their stabbing! We sent a letter through to the Stabbing Station saying that they would rather be stabbed in the butt!

Seems that the sight of OTL's but being stabbed was just too much for the staff and instead they got it in their arm!

Well, you can hope!

Because OTL didn't cry too much, he was given a sticky badge that says 'I've had my COVID-19 Vaccination'

Oooh he is such a big brave TL!

I've got to get off the computer now as OTL is going back to file shifting!

The First Signs of Spring!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We missed the sunrise today, well, to be exact, it happened behind a bank of grey clouds that almost covered the marsh!

It didn't get better through the rest of the day so to get over this grey stuff we spent the rest of the morning snoozing under Old Two Legs desk!

Lunchtime we headed off to Grain 'cos it's not so muddy down there.

No, it's not mist, it's rain!

Mind you, we couldn't please Holly who was complaining about the lack of sniffs!

If there is one thing I hate, it's a sniffless walk!

OTL was happy 'cos he found some indication that Spring was well on its way!

First of all, he found some Daffodillies sprouting up alongside the path. There were some other Daffodillies poking their flower buds up above ground.

OTL says that this is a 'Good Sign'

Well, if it makes him feel good!

A bit further along the path we came across a tree with a fresh crop of Catkin type of flowers that seemed to have sprung up overnight!

Now, don't they just warm your heart, a sure sign life is worth living!

Now we shall be looking for any other new signs of Spring. Paws up for the first woofer to see the birds building a nest!

They get a letter!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Guess what? No rain today! Makes a good change!

Mind you, it has been a dismal day never the less.

We left the camera at home 'cos everything was looking grey and soggy.

The ferrets enjoyed themselves when they went on the rampage. Old Two Legs found them in the bathroom, Miss Wendy was rolling on her back behind the cistern while Eric was standing on top of her, licking the condensation off the water closet!

I'm sure there is something wrong with those two!

When we got back from the lunchtime walk, there were two letters from the NHS asking for both OTL and The Missus to make an appointment to get stabbed and at the same time to make an appointment to get stabbed a second time, just in case the first stabbing didn't work!

Now, they were expecting to be stabbed at the doctors or somewhere in Medway but the nearest place that could happen was over twelve miles away!

What was worse, OTL hadn't been in that area for many years and he felt a little lost. So, they both decided to drive to the centre and make sure of its location and check on the parking available.

Lucky for them they found a big car park a short walk away from the centre, so, that was all good.

Holly and I went along for the ride and had fun woofing at any woofer we saw on the path.

Back home OTL went back to the 'End of Month Paperwork' and spent the afternoon swearing at the computer and calling it rude names!

Some things never change!
