Yesterday Morning.

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy and Eric de Ferret here.

You know it's going to take some time to get used to saying Daisy and Eric without wanting to put in Holly and Miss Wendy.

Miss Wendy is buried in the bug urn in the garden.

Now as sad as it was yesterday, Miss Wendy passed away very gently, which is the best way to go, no pain just a big breath and off you go!

Now yesterday morning we had a chance to see just what the sun and a few clouds could do if it all comes together, how about this one?

The Watchers on the Hill!

If you time it right you can get the same Two Legs walking their Woofers and the only thing that changes is the sky!

Turn slightly left and this is what you get!

Now, fast forward 24 hours and you get the Watcher on the hill all on his own 'cos the sun is still in bed and the clouds and mist just won't play games this morning!

Wot? No Sun!

Good news, OTL has got the new computer and is trying to get it all set up. You know, he has more bits of cable around the back of the computer than a plate of spaghetti!

I can see him getting in a state tomorrow trying to untangle it all and trying to remember where all the plugs go!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy and Eric de Ferret.

A sad, sad day.

 Hello Woofers,

Daisy and Eric de Ferret here.

Miss Wendy has not been very well for three weeks or so. When she walked she sometimes fell over to one. Side out walked along bouncing off the skirting board. Mind you, that didn’t stop her winding me up as she passed the bedroom door by calling me to ‘Come and play Chase’!

This weekend past she hasn’t got out of bed, preferring to cuddle up under a blanket and just watch the world go by.

This morning first thing Old Two Legs phoned for an appointment with the vet and was told to turn up at three fifteen.

After dropping the computer into the shop for repair it was back home so I could got for a walk down on the sea wall.

Wendy was still in bed, sleeping in her cuddle cup. OTL pulled the cuddle cup out and gently stroked Wendy’s neck which she always liked.

After lunch OTL was going to get ready to take Wendy to the vet but when OTL looked into the cuddle cup, she had passed away.

She was the eldest ferret we have had, OTL reckons she was a few days short of eight years, which is a good age for a ferret!

Wendy was a little old lady who didn’t mind mixing it with Eric when he wanted to play and she gave as good as she got, even if she was more than half the size of Eric!

Little Wendy was well up to Eric’s tricks and would attack Eric and scream her tail off making us all think it was Eric attacking her but it was the other way around, she was screaming and at the same time attacking Eric!

A gentle little ferret who never used her teeth on OTL and loved a cuddle with him before going to bed.

She has gone to the urn in the garden to be with all the other ferrets and Miss Holly.

Bye Bye Miss Wendy, we will miss you but look forward to seeing you again at the Rainbow Bridge.

Luv,

Daisy and Eric de Ferret.

Ten years old?

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Old Two Legs is not a Happy Bunny, the main computer has decided to freeze and is refusing to work at all!

We have all Sunday to get it working and if there is no success then I can see the old credit card will be waved and a new, shiny box of electronics will be sitting on the desk!

OTL has been waving his finger at it and saying things like ‘You Have Been Warned’!

This time of the year the ferrets get up late and go back to bed soon after! Miss Wendy can put it down to old age but Eric is just a lazy ferret, mind you, I like a cuddle with OTL of an evening!

Eric just loves a cuddle with Old Two Legs!

I’m having to do the blog on the iPad ‘cos the normal computer is sick so finding out where the controls are hidden is a nightmare!

Now, we have been working hard on our singing songs ‘cos today is Archie Babes 10th Birthday and he deserves a song ‘cos he is a Super Puppy for chasing squirrels and being on guard duty all night!

So, after 73, ready? Her we go……..7……47…….73

Happy Birthday Archie Babe,

Your Birthdays going to be a rave,

Followed up with a wrestle

And a squirrel pie, then a poo!

There now, stay warm and don’t forget that when you want a wee, those Two Legs have got to carry you out to the garden as a special birthday treat!

Here’s another treat, Eric, OTL and me, on the screen just behind him!

You just can't beat a cuddle in a wooly jumper! OTL says that the jumper comes from Tibet!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday, Soggy Day?

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

What a terrible day it's been. I mean, out early to catch the sunrise, no sunrise and instead we get rained on!

All morning spent trying to get dry but we were still damp come lunchtime as we headed off to the sea wall.

We walked across the football field and just as we got to the other side, it started to rain again!

There were no woofers in sight, just a couple of Two Legs in the distance getting as wet as us!

By the time we got back to the car we were soaked, I mean, dripping wet and soaked!

A telephone call to The Missus to get prepared with a couple of towels to dry me off and a very wet flannel to wash my butt and clean me up!

Well, that was it really, the rest of the day was spent tucked up in a warm blanket getting dry and warm!

With a bit of luck tomorrow should be better, loads of sunshine, warm balmy breezes and a sunrise to set the world alight!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Frosty? What Frost?

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, this morning I was expecting frost to be all over the place but when I looked out of the window, nothing!

The windscreen on the cars were clear and there were signs it had been raining a little!

We were early in heading down to the sea front, expecting to see a super sunrise but instead there was just a cloud bank obscuring the rising sun!

We hung around for a little while, just in case it got any better but this was the best it got, maybe tomorrow there will be an improvement.

While we were waiting the huskies arrived on my patch of grass and I took advantage of them both being on leads and chased them around the poo bin!

You can imagine what happened, they got the leads wrapped around the bin and got themselves in a bit of a pickle!

Please, can I bite your woofers butt?

The elder woofer thought it was a neat trick, winding the leads around the bin and offered to put me in there as the prize!

Go on, let's put her in there then we can both poo on her!

I'm sure they were both joking but I do give a little yelp when they get too close!

Be careful little one, there is always a next time!

We let them get ahead and took some time to see the buds growing on the branches and further down the path we spotted the first stage of the Catkins growing. Yep, Spring is on its way!

Catkins, and it's only the start of January!

The weekend's here, so no more messing about with VAT returns!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
