Still no rain!

Hello Woofers.

Daisy here.

Well, once again the promised floods and storms haven't arrived and it's been a sunny day with a few balmy breezes!

We met up with the hooligans who were coming to the end of their walk and after all the running about they do, they were almost puffed out!

All this running has worn us out!

Going up on the long path there was a good shot of the clouds over the Isle of Sheppy.

OK, there was a little 'fiddly diddly on the camera controls!

After changing the controls back to standard setting, we got the light back to normal for that time of the morning and a shot of the wild sweet pea plants.

 Sweet?

This is a 'wide angle' shot looking all the way back to the two trees and showing our attempt at a wild meadow or Macca!

No sign of Devo today, I think we were just a little too early, maybe tomorrow if we get down there a bit later.

See you all tomorrow.
Luv,

Daisy.

We remember Holly.

 Hi Woofers.

Daisy here.

A day for remembering, Miss Holly Chops left us on 3rd August 2021, it seems just like yesterday and there's not a day goes by that I don't miss her!

Straight on or turn left?

Holly didn't do swimming; in fact, she didn't like water at all. The nearest she ever got to a swim was when OTL got hold of a paddling pool, filled it up and dropped Holly into the pool

.

Holly was almost paralysed with the water lapping over her paws!

Holly was always first to the food bowl or out the back door to chase the birds or cats out of the garden.

One thing Holly enjoyed was a good cat chase!

The storm we were expecting didn't arrive, in fact we had more sunshine than cloud!

Wot storm?

One good thing, we met up with Devo, fresh back from his holiday in Devon, where ever that is!

It was good to share sniffs again with him!

OTL had to go down to the vet and get a couple of wormng tablets for me. He came back in a bad mood, £10.50 for two tablets!

Still, if it works then it will be worth the cost!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

Wind, rain, yellow warnings and sunshine!

Hello Woofers.

Daisy here.

I do tire of these weather forecasters, take today.

The weather map is covered with death and destruction showing all over the map, enough rain to sink the Titanic twenty times over, wind blowing this deluge across the UK.

What did we get as we walked across the sea side?

Blue sky and fluffy clouds!

Looking over towards Sheppy there were some dark clouds but not the rain laden monsoon promised!

I would call that dramatic rather than the end of the world!

Driving back we came across some rain drops, not a lot, just enough to wet the screen.

Stuck in traffic there is nothing to do but count the rain drops on the screen!

Our end of the world there are notices up informing us that there is some major construction going on near Grain and the railway bridge will be undergoing major reconstruction work and the traffic loights will keep failing and the speed limit will be reduced to 20mph!

If it gets worse I reckon OTL will start our walks in the fields and finish in the field!

One good thing about the hedgerow being left to grow wild, the insects are coming back!

See you tomorrow, if the floods let us.

Luv,

Daisy.
