New Dog on the Block!

 Hello Woofers,

Daisy here.

Well, what a day it's been here in North Kent.

First of all, I managed to get OTL up good and early this morning.

It helped having TM get up half way through the night, make a card, then go back to bed, all before OTL woke up!

We were a good fifteen minutes earlier than normal and was mooching across the football field when OTL gave me the 'secret sound' it's a bit like a cooking fat hiss.

I looked over to where OTL was pointing and saw Devo in the distance!

That was it, I was off like frightened frog with his butt on fire!

It took a little time to register but there was another dog with Devo!

OTL got chatting and discovered that the dog was the same as Devo, was called Zoro and was just a year old!

Zoro belonged to someone in the village and was proving to be a bit of a handful and their owners wanted to move it on to someone who understood woofers and knew how to handle him.

That was back in December, just after Christmas. What with OTL's Covid and stuff we have only just got to see him and Devo.

Well, we had a good dance around and sniffed all the butts and I got introduced to Zoro and he and I did the introduction sniffs and all went well until they had to go one way and us the other.

Today of all days OTL hadn't brought his camera but with a bit of luck we might meet up with them both tomorrow and OTL can get a photo!

Well, that's it for today, I'm off for a snooze before bed time!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

Sunshine and Rain!

Hello Woofers,

Daisy Dog here again!

Looking at the weather forecast last night we were threatened with rain and floods of water for the first part of Sunday.

Of course, that didn't stop my bowels from demanding a run across the fields so I can have a poo!

OTL was having a bad night and his back was giving him cause to complain, so The Missus came to my rescue and off we went, in the rain!

We took a look at the pond hoping to see some frogs but the rain falling into the pond disturbed the surface and all we saw were plopping rain drops!

A little later, after we had come back, the rain had eased off and we saw that there was another patch of frog spawn.

If they all hatch then we may have an army froggies marching around the garden chasing the birds off the feeders!

We got our eye on you!

The flowers are all poking up now and Harry Heron is keeping a close watch on activity around the fountain!

One splash and I'll have you, providing I can get this rock off my claws!

Spring is sprouting all over the garden now.

The Brown Bin sort of spoils it and the white bag doesn't do it any favours!

The Daffs are coming up as well!

It won't be long before OTL will be out in the garden doing all the weeding!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

More Spawn.

 Hello Woofers.

Daisy Here again.

Well, it's Saturday and off goes The Missus to the village hall with her mates for a day of cropping and gassing and generally making a mess!

Now that means I get Old Two Legs to myself to bully and boss until I get what I want, like, Chicken Strip, walkies, chase around the house and then walkies followed by another chicken nibble!

I also get a bit of pizza with those meaty bits on it!

Going back, there was a reasonable sunrise worthy of a photo.

Not bad spread of colour across the River Medway.

We also caught up with The Lads chasing balls and making a woofing noise!

A right bunch of misfits!

They went off one way while OTL and I went across the meadow.

Looking out to sea there were three ships in the sunshine, pity they had to work on a Saturday!

The spawn patch was bigger this morning but sadly there was a dead pigeon in the pond, another candidate for the compost bin!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.
