Bye Bye 2016!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here to say Bye Bye to this year.

January this year Miss April first went to the vet 'cos she wasn't as well as she could be and got diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy! That is a heart condition and she needed medicine to keep down the fluid that was building up in her body.

She was a very brave ferret and tried to join in all the games but she often got tired and needed a carry or some rest.

Miss Wendy had an operation on her tummy to stop her having babies and the vet did a super job 'cos her scar was very small, not like the one that I had when I had my tummy done!

We had a super time in May up in Scotland and Old Two Legs took us all over the place visiting new beaches and climbing all over the rocks!

The Ladies at the Allhallows Croppers kindly helped finance an operation on Rufus, a ferret that got handed into the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue and we were told he is now fully recovered and living life to the full!

A Super Big Licky Kiss to all the  Croppers for that.

It was a super summer with loads of sunshine and swimming!

I don't think I have had so much swimming in my life! I managed to get Holly Chops in for a paddle but as normal, she declined to go any further in than her paws!

Early in September we lost Miss April, she had a heart attack on her way back from a walk on the beach, a sad day for us all.

Towards the end of October Miss May went off to Harrietsham Ferret Rescue to be introduced to some ferrets and after a few scuffles, she came back home with a young ferret called Eric de Ferret!

Well, it took a little while before they settled down with each other but now they are inseparable and playing all the time!

We got news of Izzy and her three pups, a super Christmas present.

Young Archie Babe has kept us informed on the goings on in his kennel and how he sufferers at the hands of the Poodle Parlour and we reckon he has paid more to the vet this year than Holly, the ferrets and me all together!

Talking of vets.

Eric has got to go for an operation next early year to stop him chasing the ladies! We haven't told him yet 'cos OTL didn't want to spoil his Christmas!

OTL says he is going to 'Get a Quote' from our vet.

It has been amazing just how warm the Autumn has been and even Winter, so far, if this carries on like this we may cancel Winter all together!

Mind you, we still have January and February to get through yet!

So, as we finish 2016 everyone is in good health, the ferrets are all cuddly, Holly and I get and give cuddles every night.

The Missus is looking forward to a super holiday in Texas with her mates and OTL has booked holidays in Scotland and Dorset!

So far, next year looks like it's going to be a good one!

From all of us here to all of you out there.

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Loads of Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Yukky End to The Year!

Hi Woofers!

We're here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We haven't seen any more pictures of Mr Bo Jingles and his sisters but I suppose 'No News is Good News'!

Izzy must be a busy mum with three new puppies to look after!

It has been a horrid Grey Day today, foggy morning followed by a foggy afternoon and I suppose a foggy night!

We were looking at the weather forecast and it seems there is some cold stuff heading down the North Sea towards us!

It's all blue and has arrows pointing down at us!

According to Holy Chops, that means it will be windy and cold and all together not very nice'

I can see that the ferrets will be staying in bed instead of rampaging along The Sea Wall.

Lucky ferrets!

Today we couldn't see across to Sheerness but we did hear the 'Fog Horn' blasting away.

You know that horn really gets on you nerves!
We didn't hear any of the ships blasting away with their fog horns, so that means they are all tucked up in harbour or moored in the Thames Estuary waiting for a breeze to clear the fog!

I see No Ships!
It has been a little warmer than yesterday but not really warm enough and the ferrets didn't want to hang about on the beach and would you believe that they all ran most of the way back to the car!

Come on Freddy, get yer tail in gear!
Back home we had some 'Posh Scoff' waiting for us and of course Old Two Legs had to watch Holly to make sure she didn't eat my scoff as well as hers!

Tonight I'll be helping OTL to eat his dinner and Holly has already booked her seat!

It's a good job OTL doesn't get our scoff as well as his 'cos it will get very confusing!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Does it taste like....?

Yo Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Minus One Degree it was this morning! Outside, not inside the house!

Loads of frost again and some misty bits across the fields. We got up late, so by the time we were ready to go it had warmed up a degree or so, but it was still cold!

The Missus insisted we put on our fleece lined coats which to be honest only fit Holly, not me. As I run along my left leg sort of gets trapped inside the leg holes and I end up like a three legged woofer!

Old Two Legs has made some adjustments and sewed up the front so it doesn't gape open but it still is just not right!

So, what is a girl to do?

That's right, rub it off!

Come on, gerroff!

Lunchtime was OK, back to our harnesses and most of the frost had disappeared and of course that brought out the Two Leg Families wandering along the Sea Wall and of course we got the 'Ooooo! What are They?'

The ferrets, not us!

That means we have to hang around for ages while OTL goes through the 'Wot R Ferrets?' bit and then Wendy and Freddy get cuddles and strokes and 'Ooo! Can I have One Daddy?'

Boring or Wot!

Mind you, Miss Wendy was still looking to get back in the bag!

I don't care, it's still cold down here"
After a while, OTL got so fed up with lifting the ferrets up when a woofer passed that he ended up carrying them all the way to the bench on the hill before putting them down again!

Holly and I were discussing what nibbles we were going to choose when we got home, Teeth Cleaning Chews we got from Archie Babe or some 'Meaty Sticks we got in our Christmas Stocking!

Then Holly asked if I could remember seeing any Hamsters at the Doggy Shop 'cos she wanted to know what 'Sparkle' looked like, even though she is a 'Miniature Hamster'.

Of course Holly just had to spoil it all by asking...........Do you think 'Sparkle' would taste like chicken?

Naughty Holly!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Cold, Misty and Eric gets wet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

We have been having some great fun today. You see, we got some great prezzies from Santa Paws and one was a pair of squeaky toys. Now, the ferrets have their squeakies that they have pinched off Holly and me but these new ones are great 'cos they are too tough for the ferrets to squeak but Holly and I can make them squeak and they sound terrible!

I put one down behind Old Two Legs when he is cleaning the ferret cages and bite into it and the squeak makes OTL think he has trodden on a ferret, which makes him jump ten feet into the air!

Wot a Good Game!

Down on the beach this morning it was very frosty, cold and misty! You could hardly see your paw in front of your nose!

Wot Sea?
Holly and I ran along the beach and once we were out of sight, we had a good roll in the sand!

He can't see me now!
Young Eric was interested in the rocks on the shore and went off to investigate. He said there were loads of sniffs and muddy bits but the best was when he stepped into the rock pools!

My Paws are Wet!
It wasn't long before he got a carry by OTL to dry his paws and belly and of course to warm him up!

We headed back home with the ferrets all tucked up in the blanket in their travelling cage and we left the mist and frost for the other woofers!

Wot Sea?

Lunchtime we went out but by then the mist had gone and the sun had come out!

I see the Ships!
Mind you, being Christmas Holidays, it brought out the Two Legs and their funny ways!

I mean, just look at this TL, walking in the mud to watch some birds on the mud flat feeding.

With their binoculars they must have gained all of twenty feet and the birds are all a good hundred yards away!

I think it's a Mud Bird!
Miss Wendy wasn't impressed and insisted on getting back into the bag!

It is too wet, damp and cold to be out on the beach!
Mind you, once she got past the Sea Wall and onto the grass it sort of got better, loads of sniffs and Woofers every fifty feet, so OTL had to pick them both up!

That means they only really walked half way back to the car!

I'll be glad when the strangers, TL's and Woofers all go back to work again!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

We're Back Again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Sorry we missed out on the Boxing Day Blog but Old Two Legs and The Missus insisted we got visiting up in Birmingham!

Mind you, it was fun seeing all the children again and I will admit, I got a little wound up because they were chasing Holly and me around the house, so we jumped up onto OTL's lap and stayed cuddled up until it was time to do some food mugging!

The ferrets all elected to stay at home and guard the house against Nargles and Monsters like that!

In the past when we have been up in Birmingham we found a park where there were loads of new sniffs! Of course, we just had to revisit the park, three times!

There was Thomas and Matthew who Holly lived with before coming to stay with us and it was always good to see them again!

By the time we got back home it was just too late to do the blog and in fact, we went straight off to bed!

This morning it was rather chilly but at least there was no wind and we were all investigating all the Boxing Day sniffs we missed yesterday!

On Christmas Day Holly and I put on our Christmas Outfits, as OTL describes them and although we made this terrible tinkling sound, it did keep out necks warm!

Sorry, I can't hear you, it's these blooming bells!
The bells made such a noise that Miss May even asked if we wanted her to chew the bells off but we couldn't understand what she was saying 'cos the bells made so much noise!

All I get is a ringing sound in my ears!
This morning we were up good and early and caught the sun climbing up over Sheerness, so, OTL just had to take a picture and get all 'Arty'!

Yep! He's been playing again!
May and Eric managed to dig an enormous sand hole to hide in and May had great fun rolling in the sand!
If I keep rubbing like this I'll wear away the harness!
Being it is the Christmas Holidays we got to meet loads of Two Legs and Woofers we don't normally meet. Like young Ethan who had never seen a ferret before!

Well, OTL agreed that Wendy could have a cuddle and she was into his arms in a flash! She said he was 'Warm and Cuddly', just like her!

Ethan giving Miss Wendy a cuddle!
We ended up stopping and talking to five groups of TL's who had never seen a ferret before!

Miss Wendy is dead impressed with our harnesses and asked if they did them in 'Ferret Sizes'!

I had to explain that these are special Woofer Harnesses but the next time we are shopping we'll get OTL to look for 'Comfortable Ferret Harnesses'!

I like that harness, it's got padding under your legs!
As it was a bit chilly Miss Wendy managed to blag a lift in the ferret bag, much to the disgust of Eric who missed out on getting picked up 'cos he was busy investigating some Weasel Wee!

I love it when I get the bag all to myself!
So, OTL has got a curry tonight so it looks like we are stuck with our 'Doggy Scoff', I mean, It's Christmas and we should be getting Turkey and Chicken and Beef and stuff like that, not Doggy Scoff!

Mind you, it is that 'Posh Scoff' so after mugging OTL for some Naan dipped in the gravy I suppose we will eat it before bed time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Merry Christmas Woofers!

Hi Woofers!

Merry Christmas from Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We hope you all have a super Christmas and get all the nibbles you can eat!

A Christmas Wish for you all from all of us here!

Saturday, 24 December 2016

Little Miss Izzy has been Busy!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

We have some super news for you, Miss Izzy gave birth to three puppies last night!

Mummy and children are all well!

Today they are off to the vet for a check up, just to make sure everything is OK!

A Proud Mum!
We have been suggesting names and so far we have come up with Mr Bo Jingles, Miss Misty & Miss Holly but of course there may be changes when their characters shine through!

Mr Bo Jingles, Miss Misty & Miss Holly!
What a wonderful Christmas present to the world!

More news when we get it!

Down on the beach it was rather windy, seems we got the back end of that storm. Mind you Miss May and Eric had fun diving into the grass and playing 'Boo' whenever Holly and I passed by!

This morning we all got our 'Anti Flea and Everything Else' stuff Old Two Legs puts between our shoulder blades. He reckons that it will kill everything except the woofer and there is a special one for ferrets, so that will kill everything except ferrets.

Holly and I have decided to stay away from the ferrets until the stuff dries off!

Mind you, the ferrets have never had this before so as soon as OTL put it on their necks they were squirming about wondering what the devil he was doing, mind you, he had left it until they were half asleep so they quickly went back to snoozing while it all dries off!

I had to visit the vets last night, butt trouble, got some medicine to sort it out, ProKolin to bung me up and some antibiotic to help mend the insides!

Well, normally I have to have the ProKolin squirted down my throat 'cos it tastes horrid but when OTL started to put the tube into my mouth, I went into 'Wobble Mode' which means 'There ain't No Way You Are Stuffin' That Down My Chops'!

I could see that OTL wasn't going to be beaten so in the end I just licked the stuff off his paw, just like Holly does!

Now, the pills are something else. They taste like poo, smell like poo and are the size of dustbin lids!

Last night OTL mixed the pill in with the ProKolin and we got them down like that. Today I was offered small chunks of Lambs Heart, with a bit of pill inside.

I ate the heart and spat out the pill!

Finally, OTL, being a sneaky Two Legs, got some creamy Blue Cheese, (Which Holly and I just LOVE) and put the pill in that.

The idea was, the cheese sniffed stronger than the pill.

I ate it all, no problem!

Let's see what tomorrow brings, mind you, I've got to have another dose of the ProKolin stuff tonight, so there is more chance of some fun before bed!

Bye for now!

Luv to the Pups and Luv to you all.

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Whole 2 Seconds!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, what a good thing to happen, the night last night was two seconds shorter!

Bet you didn't know that!

It's a good job you have us to let you know these important facts!

Another thing that puzzles everyone is.........do Brant Geese taste like Chicken?

Well, Holly Chops has been doing some research on this and has been sniffing the sniffs that come from them when they have been up wind of us.

Results are now in and Holly says that they taste 'Muddy with a little fishy sniff' this is due to amount of shrimps they eat!

Nah! Shrimpy and muddy!
It was still hard not to chase them but the water looked cold and you could see we were not going to catch them!

We'd rather have Turkey or Chicken or Fillet Steak!
We were late going for our lunchtime walk and I got a little desperate so Old Two Legs let me loose in the field behind the house, which was a relief!

Then we went down the beach in the big car 'cos The Missus had pinched it to do some last minute shopping at the Co-Op!

OTL wouldn't let us sit on the seats and we had to stay in the back 'cos he said we had 'Muddy Paws'!

Cheek!

We had fun on the beach doing a high speed 'Dig & Whizz' and we both ended up with sand all over us!

Dig an Whizz!
Being 'Sandy Woofers' does have a down side. Like, we got tied up to the cargo section of the Big Car which stopped us sitting on the seats!

Mind you, Fred and Wendy had to stay in their travelling cage but that is normal for them!

Now, what is all this showing off just 'cos Izzy visits? Sitting on Mummy's lap? Archie Babe, you're being a big woose!

Little Izzy is a lovely woofer!

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so we're looking forward to doing some serious mugging over the next few days!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Spring and Summer are on their way!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Hey! Wot good news, we have just had the longest night and from now on the days get longer!

Just think of it, warm sunny days, balmy breezes and swimming in the sea again.

Loads of sniffs under the flowers and loads of rabbits to chase!

We saw some rabbits this morning but it was so dark that by the time we got out of the car they had all vanished!

Where the Woof did they go?
As we had to get up early, we could see the sun was still in bed but there were some strange looking colours coming up over the horizon.

The Lights of Sheerness.
We saw the fishing boat drifting along with its lights on but the morning colour made it all look blue, both the sea and the clouds!

Sailing by in the Morning Light!
Well, the ferrets didn't come with us for the morning walk so we got down to the Parlour in good time. Holly and I got a complete wash and brush up and ended up sniffing like a Tarts Handbag, again!

We promised that when we get back down the beach both Holly and I were going to go looking for that pile of Poo!

Unfortunately, it looks like it got washed out to sea on the last tide!

Mind you, we did find some sniffs that were not 'Mucky' and we rolled in them before OTL could stop us!

We Gotta Sniff and We Don't Care!
Holly found the first one and pretended it was a hole, then, while OTL was looking at me, Holly Chops dived in!

OTL then started to tell Holly to 'STOP' but by then I had dived into my sniff!

I Gotta Sniff and You Can't Catch Me!
It was lucky that the sniffs were sort of 'clean' and nothing showed up on our coats!

Holly had a load of 'Hair Balls' under her front legs so the groomer lady had to cut hem out and Holly's legs had a little less hair than normal but as OTL says, 'It'l Grow Back'!

It's a pity that won't happen with his hair!

Holly with 'Short Hairy Legs'!
OTL says he will book the next hair cut for mid February, let's hope it's not too cold then!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

First Day of Winter!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

Well, here we are and it's the First Day of Winter when there should be at least six feet of snow outside the door and icicles hanging from the roof and stuff like that!

We got some wind today and I'm not talking about Holly's problem! No, the wind has blown all the foggy bits away! In fact, it was rather warm down on the beach today and we stayed well away from the poo pile, mainly 'cos Old Two Legs was keeping his eye on us!

OK, Wind has blown the fog away but it's still grey!
We all had a walk and a sniff but we'd rather it was a bit warmer! Still, it's better than six feet of snow!

We were supposed to get our hair cut today but for some reason the lady who does it forgot to phone Old Two Legs last night and it just slipped out minds. So, we have got to be down the parlour at eight tomorrow morning!

It's going to be a speedy wee tomorrow and a lightening poo if we are going to get down there by eight!

I can see OTL is not going to be happy about getting up early!

Poor lad needs his sleep!

Still, at his age his memory is getting bad.

We are going to get an early night tonight 'cos will have to make an early start and The Missus has promised to give OTL a kick to wake him up, trouble is, TM gets up a four!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

The Grubby Butt Incident!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

I have decided I don't like the weather this time of the year, it not that it's too cold or hot or warm or damp or wet. It's just that it is so grey and miserable!

The fog has moved off into the distance but what is left is gloomy weather, grey weather!

Gloomy or Wot!
Old Two Legs was telling us about when he was a young lad. (Holly says he must have a good memory to remember that far back!)

Anyway, he said that it was normal for November to be mostly frosty and cold. He can remember going to school on Fireworks Night and all the privet hedges were covered in frost!

There wasn't always snow on Christmas Day but it came before and after Christmas. Nowadays it doesn't snow until February, March, April or May!

You know, even at lunchtime today both Freddy and Miss Wendy were saying that they should both be back in bed than out in the gloom!

No, we don't like it out here!
Once you get a good run up and down the beach your tail sort of warms up a bit and you forget the gloom.

Today Holly and I were back down the far end of the beach while OTL was up the front trying to get the ferrets to 'Un-Thaw' and head towards the car. (See above picture)

Well, we found this pile of serious poo that was calling to us and saying 'Roll in Meee!'

Holly and I just couldn't resist!

Holly went in first, butt first and wiggled her tail to stir it up a bit as well!

OTL just happened to turn around to see Holly do her 'Poo Dive', then he yelled out for Holly to 'STOP IT!'

Holly said that he was just too far away for her to stop, and then she had another roll!

I told her to 'Shove Over' and let me in for a roll as well but when I did I found that all there was left was a sniff!

All of the poo was hanging from Holly's Butt and Tail!

OTL was still jumping up and down and yelling his hat off and threatening us with all manner of nasties!

Mind you we didn't care 'cos he was still too fare away and on top of that he had a couple of cold ferrets in his arms!

Back home both Holly and I got the 'Wet Rag' treatment and Holly got all of her butt washed with soap!

I got off with an inspection and The Missus giving me a sniff!

OTL got back to his work again while Holly and I settled down for an afternoon snooze!

All the ferrets were fast asleep as well, a peaceful afternoon!

Our Grumbly Tums seem to be settling down now, so we should be back to normal by tomorrow.

We have managed to escape that ProKolin stuff that OTL squirts down our throat when the 'Grumblies' get us. Holly likes the taste but I think it is absolutely YUK!  OTL has to squirt it down the side of my tongue so that I swallow it!

Just wait until he gets the Grumbly Tum, I'll get TM to squirt some of it down his throat!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

We got the 'Grumby Tum'!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

We want today to be over so that tomorrow we can feel better. Both Holly and I have picked up something that has given us the old 'Grumbly Tum' and we have not been our normal bouncy Woofers!

Down on the beach we met up with 'The Lads' and it was Polly who looked like she could do with a haircut! Polly said that if she had a hair cut that would mean she had to wear a coat and she just hates coats, so there is nothing like a natural coat!

Just call me 'Fluffy'!
Holly was sitting on the Sea Wall when Barney II came past and he gave Holly a kiss to help her get over her Grumbly Tum!

Get better soon!
Freddy had a great time rampaging around the house especially when Wendy did her 'Dissapearing' trick, but not to worry 'cos we found her in the office giving the Ferretone bottle a good licking!

It makes a change from hiding!
Freddy had fun sorting out all his squeaky balls and lining them up under the stairs! He has got a thing about his 'Babies' standing in a line!

I'm watching you!
While Holly and I were on our beds OTL showed us some Christmas Cards we had received and one jumps out 'cos it has pictures of Hamish, Izzy and Bella on the front! Izzy is going to be a 'Mum' soon and we just can't wait to see the pictures!

So, we are staying on our beds feeling horrid but with a bit of luck, tomorrow we should feel better, claws crossed!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wendy gets lost!

Hi Woofers!

Us again! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, there is no wind yet! The best we got today is 0.0mph! So, that means it has been grey all day!

Look! I see the Tower!
May and Eric didn't seem bothered and ran off to have a dig in the sand!

We could pinch the dog's ball and bury it!
Back home Holly and I retired to the bedroom while Old Two Legs did the cages. First out was May and Eric who had great fun diving into the crate full of ping pong balls!

Then it was Fred and Wendy's turn to have a good hour's rampage around the house.

OTL finished their cage then played a game with them and they all played 'Chase' around the lounge.

Then OTL went off to do some stuff on the computer leaving the ferrets to get into trouble!

After an hour or so OTL went looking for the ferrets. First he found Freddy asleep in the drawer of the office desk. He was gently lifted up and placed into the cage. Then he went looking for Wendy.

She was nowhere to be found! All the normal hidy holes were searched but no success, no a sign of her at all!

The house was turned up side down in a search for her but no sign.

The chairs in the lounge are leather covered and there is a flap at the back that is secured with strips of Velcro and Snowflake used to get in there for a quiet snooze and remembering this OTL looked inside, nothing.

Off he went again turning everything up side down and The Missus said that OTL was being silly looking in the places he was looking, like, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, booze cupboard!

OTL said that after we had looked in all the sensible places then all was left was the silly places!

OTL was back to the lounge chairs again, pulling off the cover and feeling the inside of the springs and he was looking at the underside of the chair TM uses.

Underneath the chair there was a sagging sort of bulge and OTL was going to write it off as a result of TM's time spent sitting there. Just as a test he put his hand there and sort of lifted it up, it was warm, and when OTL moved it, it moved back!

That was it, Wendy had been found!

Now was the problem of getting her out, without hurting her, while she was still half asleep!

In a move that OTL described as 'Squeezing Tooth paste out of the Tube' he finally got her out!

Well, there is another hidy hole that goes on the list of places to look for her the next time she goes missing!

We left them asleep at lunchtime and headed down to the beach again.

It was still foggy!

We are definitely going to get Archie Babe down here to blow it away!
Down on the beach there were a couple of fishermen throwing worms into the sea. We decided that we would leave them to it 'cos a bit later the tide is going to come up past where their little camp is and they will have to get up on the Sea Wall!

It's going to get wet!
Back home we got an email from Roy at the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue thanking OTL and TM for their help in fund raising for the Centre.

We have re printed the email for you to see 'cos we know a lot of you have made contributions and deserve all the good praise possible!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

All we want is some wind!

Hi Woofers!

Us Woofers are back again! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

If there was one day when we could have done with some serious wind it was today!

We have tried to make our own wind today, we started of by blowing when we got to the beach but it didn't seem to have much success 'cos the misty fog was still there!

Well, that didn't work!
Holly suggested that we get Archie Babe down 'cos he has the ability to 'Raise The Wind' , well that's what Auntie Elaine says!

I did remind Holly that there was the problem of the six berries that have yet to resolved and if Archie was to let rip we could end up with a 'Gun Fight at Grain' situation!

So, that was it, we decided to leave the weather alone and wait for the wind to arrive on its own!

Mind you, Eric did say that he sometimes gets a 'Funny Tummy' and manages to 'Raise the Wind!' but Miss May said he was more 'Substance' than 'Quantity'!

Small but powerful!

We left the beach and headed for home.

We found Fred and Wendy all tucked up together and when we told them about the wind they said that there was only place to be on a day like today..........

Cuddled up in bed!

Lunchtime we stopped off at the Village Hall to say 'Hello' to the Allhallows Croppers who were having their Christmas Party. Holly and I said 'Hello' to them all and then went 'Hunting Food'!

We had some fun sorting out the 'Mini Sausages' and Holly even found a Pork Pie!

We couldn't hang about 'cos Old Two Legs had got our lunch ready at home, so, more food!

Let's hope that we all get some wind tonight, well, except OTL 'cos when he gets the wind we all know about it!

See you tomorrow!

Christmas Starts Here!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's been another one of those 'Grey Days' little wind, mild and rather 'Nothing' if you know what I mean!

Down on the beach this morning we couldn't see the horizon, just a load of grey and on top of that, no sunrise!

Maybe it is a Grey Sun today?
It certainly didn't please young Eric, he said that the grey morning made him look all 'Monochromatic'!

Look! No colour!
While Eric was trying to get a bit of colour into his morning walk Old Two Legs spotted young Marley coming along the Sea Wall!

You know there is something about OTL that Marley just loves and of course he was straight up to OTL then rolled onto his back so OTL could tickle his tummy!

I want a Tickle!
Back home OTL finished off his 'Poo Shovelling' while the ferrets had a great time rampaging around the house!

Wendy and Freddy had the best time 'cos The Missus went off in the car to a local craft shop so the ferrets could rampage as much as they wanted!

It was so exhausting that Freddy ended up in a drawer in the office, fast asleep!

OTL put him back to bed then went looking for Wendy who was fast asleep in one of TM's boxes in her store room!

Two tired little ferrets!

In fact they were so worn out that they didn't want to go out at lunch time and even refused to wake up!

That was OK by Holly and me and off we went, only to find the 'Grey' had got greyer!

I still see no ships!
As Holly and I were sniffing around the beach we got to discussing Archie Babe and the Holly Berries that he is 'Passing Through'!

Holly pointed out that he had to be very careful, you see it's OK to get rid of them in a good poo but you had to be very careful if the all sort of gather together and  you are suffering from the Windy Pops!

Holly says it could be like a shot gun going off!

Boom!

Let's hope Archie Babe doesn't suffer from wind!
Tonight OTL and Tm are off out for a meal with friends and every year TM looks on this as the start of Christmas Time!

We just hope they are not too late 'cos Holly and I will need a wee before bed!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
