A Prayer for Tommy.

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Now yesterday we heard some news that little Tommy, Izzy's puppy, was not feeling too good, seems he has a pain that the Two Legs can't sort out yet.

He has not felt like playing with the others and has staying in his corner feeling sorry for himself. He was at the vets first thing today and is having x ray's to see if there is anything obvious. He likes a rough and tumble and may have hurt his bones somewhere. We are all keeping our claws crossed for him and Holly and I include him in our prayers when we go to bed.

Today the wind has dropped away and it was rather warm out there. OTL didn't take his hat with him and he even put on his light fleece thing as well!

Mind you, he has ordered a big coat for the winter that you can wear a fleece underneath the coat, it is really warm and you can bet the ferrets will find a way of getting inside when the wind blows!

This afternoon Freddy was woken up to go out for a walk, he said he would have rather stayed in bed but OTL said he needed the exercise!

Freddy got a carry down to the beach and managed a walk over the sea shells and up onto the grass. That was when he said his paw was sore and fell over onto his back saying he couldn't walk another step!

OOO! I think it's broken!
No one believed a word but he did get a carry up to the top of the hill!

Holly decided that what she wanted was to use the sand to exfoliate her hair, that was until OTL told her off and put her on the lead until we got away from the sand!

I of course carried on digging just to wind her up!

Holly Chops, look at this hole I'm digging!
She was not amused!

This afternoon it was all work, work, work for OTL, he had customers to see and deliveries to make, so Holly and I had a snooze under the desk until he came home!

See you all tomorrow and paws together for Tommy!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret

  1. Evening little maties. I'm with you all hoping that little Tommy is sorted out very quickly, it's not nice when you don't feel well. I had to go to the vets this morning cos I had a grumbly tum all night, mind, so did my mum so we didn't get any snoozes. I went first thing to the vets I thought perhaps my mum would tell them she didn't feel well and get some medicine with me, maybe it was the thermometer up the butt that put her off telling them. We came away with some antibiotics the size of dustbin lids and 2 tubes of pro kolin, one for the next time I get the grumblies in the middle of the night, we've also got a gadget for catching my wee. Like I'm going to wee into a little yellow thing with a bottle on the end of it. I feel much better now though and much more like eating as much scoff as I can get, although my mum is only giving me half rations, wot a tight wad. We both went back to bed to catch up on a few snoozes when we came home. That Freddy is getting seriously cheeky, mind it has been cold here so if it's as cold there I don't blame him for preferring to stay in bed or hide under OTL's coat. Poor Holly, it's not really fair to blame her for doing something she enjoys and I bet it made her feel jealous when you can dig but she has to go on the lead, tell her you're digging for both of you, that might cheer her up. Hope you all have a lovely evening with plenty of muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxx

  2. I also hope that little Tommy is sorted out very soon, poor little chap.
What a meaney you are digging on the beach when Holly is not allowed, she will get her own back, I am sure if that. OTLs new coat sounds very warm, Michael has one where the thick fleece zips into the weatherproof outer coat, it is very heavy but very warm.
Freddy gets another carry, good for him, those little legs have to work very hard to keep up the pace so he needs a carry. xxxxxx
