It's still January!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It seems that those Two Legs just don't really understand us woofers, wot a terrible thing to have your treasure whipped away just as you are getting used to hiding under your tongue!

Holly finds treasures, mostly my Bonio bones or my teeth cleaning chews!

I find treasures but they are normally pinched by the ferrets 'cos they love squeaky balls!

Now, the ferrets are little tea leaves for treasures, Freddy pinches Old Two Legs socks while Eric has got a thing about his 'Squeakies' but his big thing is wot The Missus calls her 'Smoothies' which are sponge things that look like tear drops, he nicks them and buries them in his special hiding places!

Miss May loves the 'Brambles Biscuits' which are really dog biscuits but she pinches them and hides them in the sofa!

Now Miss Wendy is a terror! She pinches OTL's socks and has been known to pinch The Missuses knickers off the clothes horse!

OTL says all us are little horrors, yeah!

We were out first thing this morning but there was no super sunrise, just the lights of Sheerness!

Well, the sun will come up, honest!
Back home it was a chance for a snooze while the ferrets caused all manner of trouble around the house while OTL did his 'Poo Shovelling'!

He gets all the good jobs!

Lunchtime down on the Sea Front we noticed that the tide was out and I suggested that Holly and I have a paddle in the mud!

If you want to go dancing in the mud, you are on your own!
Looking over towards Southend we found it has disappeared!

There is was.....Gone!
Back home we spotted a Sparrow Hawk in the bushes in the garden, we think he was looking for a Sparrow Lunch!

Here, Here, Little Sparrow!
Eric decided to come out for a slurp and afterwards, climbed onto OTL's arm, gave him a cuddle, licked his nose and fell asleep!

I just love this stuff!
We will be glad when the weather starts to get better, I reckon once January is out of the way we will see some more of the sun, claws crossed!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been a really dreary, cold, wet and windy day here. The wind woke us up. I reckon Southend has done a runner to somewhere warmer. I'm glad you agree with me about the treasures. I was really upset yesterday and my mum just doesn't understand. I wonder if that was really a sparrowhawk, it could have been a froghawk looking for a juicy frog to munch on. You have to watch them birds cos they'll pinch anything. My mum has been to work this afternoon so I've been very busy guarding the house, I've done a really good job cos the house is still here. I hear Izzy's mum isn't well but Izzy and the gang are all keeping her warm and looking after her. I'm hoping that tomorrow is going to be warmer, dryer and less windy than today cos I don't like the weather at the moment. I'm off to try to get my mum to give me more scoff, I'm being a right good boy at the moment. Have a lovely snuggly evening all and hope the muggings are up to scratch. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. If Southend is near Chelmsford then I hope it comes back and is warmer because we are venturing under the water to Essex. It has been very dreary today, the new Dawn French Diary that I had for Christmas has very sparse inputting for the last couple of days, what an interesting life I am leading, at least you have the eight of you to report on. I see Archie has been nicking paperclips, I did wonder why but then I don't suppose Archie needs a reason to be Archie. Love hearing all your stories of the ferrets, real little characters they are, it brightened my day as did TMs posting of her work. Hope Izzy's mum is feeling better soon, the nasty weather doesn't boost you. Keep warm tomorrow, oh I forgot, I did go out today......the kitchen recycling bin was overfilled so I went out the back door to the brown bin, boom boom, that's bravery for you. xxxxxx
