A bit damp and windy, the weather not me!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, today hasn't been very exciting really, we've had some rain, then we had the wind, then there was a little more rain and after that came the F1 racing!

I must admit, I slept all the way through the race and didn't wake up until the end to find that Lewis won it!

It hasn't been so hot but Old Two Legs decided that the ferrets would still have to stay indoors, just in case they got over heated running around!

Mind you, we reckon they could have got away with it first thing this morning.

We could see for miles!
The tide was out, the wind was blowing in of the river and it sniffed just right for a ferret! Still, OTL doesn't want the ferrets to get over heated so they stayed in bed!

When we get back home, the normal procedure is for Holly and I to get out butt's checked and wiped if needed. (Cause being a grumbly Tum).

After that we head for the bedroom so we can watch out the window while OTL goes poo shovelling.

The ferrets are let out of their cage for an hour and a half to rampage around the house while OTL has breakfast and then cleans cages!

We were given some cardboard tubes which OTL has cut to length, just big enough to go under the stairs, the ferrets are diving in and out of the tubes having a great time! Eric just loves them and so does Monty who seems to dive in and then later, roll out! It has been noticed that Miss Wendy and Monty will have a game of pretend fighting, a sure sign that things are going well with them!

Miss May is getting on a bit now but still enjoys a play fight with Eric but has a liking for rolling onto her back, half wriggling out of the tubes and 'Mouth Fighting' with Eric.

Holly and I did that when we were puppies, but not in a cardboard tube!

We hear that Rizzo has had an operation to remove a fatty lump and is recovering well. Rizzo is one of Izzy's family.

Holly said that she has fatty lumps but after the vet did a biopsy it was recommended that she goes on a diet!

Those vets can be sooo cruel!

You know, OTL is working hard getting all the 'Books' done 'cos it is the end of his 'Financial Year' and come the first of August will be starting his twenty fifth year 'in business'!

He says it seems like only a couple of years!

You know that is longer than Holly and I added up together!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well the weather here today has been pretty much the same as you've had by the sound of it. My mum reckons it's just right for her to get her lounger out and stake out. I reckon she'd get wind burn but she reckons that's better than sun burn. I must say the garden is looking a right mess with all the stuff that's blown in but at least the grass doesn't prickle my butt now, it's much softer so that has to be a plus. We've pretty much chilled out on the sofa today in between going into the garden for a wee and a poo and to make to the most of the cool temperature. Glad to hear the ferrets all enjoyed their playing in the tubes. Sorry to hear about grumbly tums though. Good to hear that Rizzo is recovering well and wot vet said to Holly about being fat, that vet deserves a nip on the ankle. Well done OTL for all those years being in business. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well the weather is certainly different today and I think the grass is going mottled brown/green and the heat has gone, I needed the light on at lunchtime to see the sandwiches (tuna)! Well done on a silver business, deserves a bottle of bubbly hope the end of year accounts don’t take too long. Those cardboard tubes sound like great fun, you will have to share with us, they are so lucky to have toys to play with. Our doggie friend Harry has a chew sealed in a cardboard tube and he has to battle with it to get it out to eat. Hope the grumbles have settled, did you see Michael has found TM a job, I wonder if Archie’s mum saw the advert, we thought she fitted some of the criteria so might be accepted! Well bin day tomorrow we like Mondays the road fills with 3 bigs lorries trying to turn around especially when they arrive nearly together, you must have the same problems. Hope the little ones get to go out tomorrow and have a little run. xxxxxx
