In Trubble, Again!

Hi Woofers!

The Gangs all here! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Now, you know how sometimes you think everything is going well and without trying very hard, the sky sort of falls in and Pooof! Everything hits the fan and your name is poo?

Sort of happened to Holly and me today!

This morning we were out early 'cos Old Two Legs was having trouble sleeping, it was The Missus marching up and down the stairs and turning the lights on. You see she had been woken up by the loud sound of her 'Singing', well she calls it singing but we all call it snoring!

Anyway, there we were almost an hour early down on the sea wall enjoying the cool air. It was rather overclouded, so OTL didn't bother with the camera which was rather clever 'cos half way around it started to rain!

Now, we haven't seen that for a long time!

Back home we were all damp and ready to roll around on the bed but TM had stripped it ready for washing. She was not a happy puppy 'cos there was no way to dry the bedclothes because of the rain!

Lunchtime it all changed, out came the sun and everything started to warm up and OTL had even brought his camera with him, minus the 105mm lens, he decided to go back to the 35mm lens!

As we headed across the football field Holly and I caught a passing whiff of a sniff to die for!

If the wind is blowing from that way then the sniff must be in that direction!
We let OTL wander on a bit while Holly and I tried to home in on the source!

It's over there, just past OTL, in fact, he is almost sitting on it!
Holly and I decided to leave it alone until we got back and if we could get ahead of OTL then not only would we get a good sniff, we'd get a roll as well before he caught up with us!

Off we went, our plan would be spot on and OTL wouldn't suspect a thing!

Looking across the Medway we could see the clouds, a sight we had almost forgotten about over the last couple of months!

All dramatic looking!
On our way back, Holly kept up a steady trot, which was most unlike her and OTL had to keep calling her back.

OTL was starting to get suspicious! In fact he was getting very suspicious and called us both back. Well, we didn't go back, we just sort of stopped and dawdled until he caught up and then 'Click' he had attached the yoke to our harnesses and that was it, no sniff, no roll, not happy!

It was your fault, trotting your backside towards the sniff, anyone could see you were on a mission!
Well, that was it, we got marched back to the car and we missed out on the best sniff of the day!

Rat Holes!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. I'm so sorry to hear you missed out on your sniff and roll. You could have done wot I would have done, just ignored OTL and gone for it. It's amazing how many sniffs there are around now that it's a bit cooler and we've had some rain, it's sort of refreshed the sniffs. Loved the pictures today, my favourite sort of photos, pin up girls. Shame that Mrs TM woke you all up very early, can't you drop something in her cocoa to make her sleep? Tell Mrs TM not to worry about drying things, the sun is coming back and it's going to get very hot again, I'm not looking forward to that. It's just about perfect at the moment. Right I'd better go and tell my mum it's scoff time. Have a lovely evening all and I hope that sniff is still there for you tomorrow. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Hope the washing dried, it probably did because it was warm when I shopped after lunch. I wonder if the sniff will be there tomorrow, it maybe ripened a bit by then and will be more mature! You look like you are going to pull a cart with your harnesses on but you look very focussed, well done. Hope your evening goes well with plenty of snacks and treats ready to tackle Tuesday. xxxxxx
