Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty here!
Today Alun & Glynis headed back for home after a fun weekend and several gallons of giggle juice!
Unfortunately, Holly and I missed out on Plawn Clackers 'cos Old Two Legs let it be known that Holly was on a diet and if Holly couldn't eat it, neither could I!
It was horrible, we could feel ourselves wasting away watching all the Two Legs stuffing their faces full of tasty nosh!
OK on Archie Babes little visitor, we were in the vets one time when the vet was telling a TL that anti flea stuff would stop the fleas from setting up home and breeding but it wouldn't stop a flea from jumping onto a woofer.
So, maybe your little friend was just 'Passing Through' and would have jumped off at the first opportunity!
The ferrets were let out of their cages for a rampage around the house 'cos they haven't been let out since Thursday and were getting desperate to get out. Little Eric had nearly ripped the front door off his cage!
Monty and Wendy were getting all grumpy 'cos they were missing their game of chase around all the toys and chairs and sofa!
When they were let out they were bouncing off the walls, the furniture, the stairs and Old Two Legs feet!
Today we will be getting ready for the F1 Racing, so OTL has to take us out early for our lunchtime walk.
We are having to put our old harnesses on 'cos the new ones a bit heavier and really only good for when the weather gets all cold and wet.
OTL says that as soon as the weather 'Breaks' he will get the camera out and take a picture of us in this super duper harness. You know, it even has a handle on the top so OTL can lift us up into the car without getting his hands all wet and muddy. Not like our old one where all the mud and wet comes off our tummy and straight onto OTL!
The F1 Racing was fun and exciting at the same time, Lewis went from second to last and then back again to second and it would appear that he wasn't happy about the crunch he had!
Tomorrow it's Monday, back to work guarding again!
Hey, I was thinking, if we ever get stuff slapped onto us, we spend ages licking it back off again. Now, if Archie Babe has got Bum Cream on his paw, has he spent ages licking it off and.............
WOT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty.
Yo maties. Well wots this about no plawn clackers???????? Now if I had visitors wot scoffed all the goodies and drank giggle juice and didn't share a morsel with me, I wouldn't let them in again, I would stand at the front door when they knocked and I would growl and dare them to take me on!!!! Well my little lone ranger or Tonto as I prefer to call him, didn't have any mates, my mum keeps checking and I'm completely pet free, so I reckon he hitched a lift when I was at the vets on Friday, poor little chap is homeless now. I haven't actually tasted the bum cream, I thought about it, but my mum has had her evil eye on me so I haven't had the chance and to be honest, if it's for a babies bum, I really don't fancy trying it, I mean, BUM cream ....... yukkkkkkkk. Pleased to hear the ferrets finally got sprung and had a good old rampage, I bet they needed it. Any more news on Wendy and Monty, have they had another cuddle yet, how's May's eye doing, has she got it open most of the time yet? It's very hot here again, so hot that we've got fans going all over the house and I've had to give in a go on my cool mats, in fact, my boy went for a walk to town again today and bought me another 2 mats. I've got cool mats all over the front room now so I can snooze a bit in one spot, then move to another spot and have another cool snooze and so on. I'll be having an early night again tonight cos I'm on guard duty very early tomorrow morning and again in the afternoon, so Monday is a very busy day for me. Hope your visitors have a safe journey home. Have a good evening all and maybe, with a bit of luck, OTL might drop a piece of his scoff for you and Holly chops to clear away. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI am with Archie, don’t let those visitors in again, you growl and stamp your paws and send them to the caravan if they expect to stay. Fancy not letting you have a smal morsel after all the stress you have had guarding the house and being responsible for four ferrets, booooohoooooo! I bet the little ones have had a tremendous rampage around today, really exciting exploring all the places and bouncing off walls and feet maybe they found a morsel or two as well. Looking forward to seeing more pictures taken by OTL he has a good eye with that camera. We watched the F1, pity that Lewis didn’t get the record of six wins but points wise he is still in the running. Glad Archie hasn’t found any more little visitors or tried that bum cram for taste, sure it won’t taste like the cream on a scone with jam so best not think about it, he will only upset his mum, sounds that he is enjoying his cool mats lucky him. xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHI my southern maties, Sounds like your TL's have been having a great time while you all got left at home. I'm not surprised that the ferrets were jumping off the ceiling and how mean not to even give you any plawn clackers. We are sorry that we are a day behind but we had an exciting adventure on our walk last night. Both Mum and Dad took us. Hamish, Genie and Lady had been on walk 1 and this was walk 2 with me (Izzy), Tommy and Bella. Anyway, we were walking around the front of the village past this house where they have built a nice decking area. So all the TL's call to Dad, "Hi Neil, coming to join us for a drink again?" Which staight away drops him in it with Mum. Anyway we all end up sitting in there garden with the TLs drinking giggle juice and we 3 woofers lying at their feet being very sensible, well behaved woofers and getting strokes while we wait for any crispies to drop to the floor and woofing greetings to all the other village woofers going past with their TL's . Anyway we then had to move down the village to the other visitors cottage and got to go inside their house. It had lots of wooden beams and used to be the village school house. So some of the TLs watched lots of TLs run around a field kicking a bag of air around while some sat talking and drinking more giggle juice. It was all very weird being in a strange house while TLs got very wobbly. Not my Mum and Dad though as they were in charge of 3 woofers and take their duties very serious and said it was time to take us home so we eventually came home a long time after we set off and too late to read your blog and write a reply. We think that TL's photo of the red dragonfly was very beautiful and pleased to hear that Monty and Miss May are getting in their snuggle cup together. We are happy to read that Little Arch only had one little Pet come to visit. Those cool mats sound like a good idea; it is as hot as an oven up here and even with all the windows and doors open, we can't get a breeze. So, do you want to have some fun. When we were catching up on your blog today, Bella was getting impatient waiting for you to write and kept jumping on the keyboard. She found a key at the top of the screen that says ..."Translate us - Select a language" with a little arrow and all the different languages of the world drop down. So Bella decides to try to read your blog is Arabic and then Chinese which are both lots of squiggles. Then we tried Danish and Catalan but mum wanted to practise her French so we had to listen to her reading your blog to us en frencais. Bella's parents are both from Moscow so she thought she'd try Russian but we started to laugh at her accent and had been watching too much World Cup. You must give it a try, it's lots of fun. We must go now as Poldark has just finished and Mum will be wanting her laptop back to turn it off. She took some photos of Bella on her keyboard so I'll see if she can send them to TM. Love, woofs, sniffs and licks from Izzy, Hamish, Bella and The 3 Hooligans. xxxx
