Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!
Today we have been looking forward to tomorrow, you know, clocks back an hour!
Yeah, back to 'Real Time'!
This morning it was too cloudy, too dark and too early for any photos, I mean, we could hardly see Eric and he was very close to our tail for comfort!
On top of that it was windy and cold! Old Two Legs has been wearing a woolly hat over the last couple of weeks. This morning the wind was blowing through the hat and chilling his bald head!
Poor Lad!
When we got home the hat was put in the cupboard and his old Tilly Hat dug out from the bottom of his hat box!
OTL had decided that he would print up the photo he took of the Sea Eagle when he and Alun was on the Isle of Mull. Now, that job should take no more than one hour including the mounting it in the frame.
Well, that was the plan.
By the time he had cleaned and calibrated the printer head it was half past three in the afternoon!
Mid morning there was a banging on the front door, it was The Cat Woman who had come over to see The Missus and also pack up a couple of hampers for the Harrietsham Ferret Show where we hopefully, our ferrets might win a rosette for being best in class or even, Best in Show!
The show is on the 29th November and there is no entrance charge!
There is Allhallows Croppers Card 'O' Thong next April or May which we will make up some more hampers, last year OTL won the 'Guess the Weight' of a super cake which he finished off without sharing it with anyone!
We reckon he will put in a request for a bigger cake next year!
He really is a bit of a Piggy!
Holly and I were tickled pink to have a pack of Chicken Fillets and some Chicken Treats from The Cat Woman, given to OTL for us!
It was just as well OTL got them first 'cos Holly and I would only start a fight!
Holly jumped up and sat on The Cat Woman's Chair Arm for a whole hour and a half snuggling up, just in case there was some more nibbles!
Mind you, she said she could sniff Cats and had a terrible time not woofing her tail off and chasing The Cat Woman around the garden!
Wot made it worse, she didn't get any nibbles!
OTL finally got the printer heads unblocked and printed the eagle photo and it will go on the wall in the lounge!
Fish for Dinner! |
Holly reckons that we should have a picture of us two on the wall!
Now, don't forget, clocks back one hour tonight!
I think that every clock in our house is controlled by radio signals or gets the time off the Internetty, no, tell a fib, the kitchen clock is a 'Manual' one!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Yo maties. Well sounds like it was a nice visit from the cat woman, shame she didn't bring a cat for you to chase round the garden though, I mean, it's always fun to chase a cat. Loved the picture of the eagle, I can see why OTL would want to put it on his wall but I agree that there should be photos of you and Holly chops and the ferrets on the wall. Soon he'll be getting you all to pose for your xmas photo. It's been very chilly here today and it's raining now. I was all snuggled up under my own duvet this morning when my mum made me get up in the dark and cold. I'm looking forward to snuggling under it tonight when we go to bed but at least my mum won't make me get up in the dark tomorrow cos she's not working tomorrow, she did today instead so she could make the most of the extra hour, we're really looking forward to it. Hope Mrs Sue's Daisy girl's foot is getting better. I've had a nice lazy day and my boy has been fighting with me and snuggling with me today. I do like it when he has days off cos then we can have lots of fun together. He's a pain sometimes but he comes in handy for a wrestle when I feel like it. Sorry to hear that OTL's head got cold this morning, hope he can keep it warm tomorrow. Hope you're all wrapped up well when you go out, are the ferrets wearing some of OTL's old socks to keep them warm when they go out? Have a lovely evening all, enjoy the extra hour snooze and hope you get some decent muggings and maybe some of the treats the cat woman brought you. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice, kind, lovely cat woman bringing you tasty treats, just as well OTL was out in charge of them, I think you might have eaten them all at once and don’t deny it. It is cold now and bald spots need protecting from frost bite, Jack Frost can give a nasty nip to the unsuspecting. I don’t like all this dark as it is so now we get even more darkness, a lot of our clocks need altering so it get the instruction books out as we can’t remember from 6 months ago. At least computers change themselves now and there isn’t a Message Box when turned on that asks if you want to change the time. We always leave the changeable clocks until lunch time this time of year, live by the old time and then give ourselves an hour extra in the afternoon, in the Spring we change them before we go to bed. Grand Prix tomorrow, should be interesting as it could see Hamilton champion although he isn’t starting at the front. Have a good Sunday don’t get too cold and no bathing. xxxxxx
