Hi Woofers,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!
You know, there are things that start off looking good but end up looking not so good when they arrive.
Take for instance 'The Weekend'.
There we are, working hard and making sure everything is working well, like Old Two Legs and The Missus and the Postman and the Dustbin Men. Then Friday is here and the sun has been shining and Saturday looks like it's going to be just great, and what happens next?
It gets colder, the clouds get all black and the rain starts!
It just ain't right!
Miss May has been pointedly ignoring the Kitten Scoff we got for her and has gone back to the Kibble she has always eaten. She is taking the pills but makes a bit of a fuss about having to share the Ferretone with the pill, even if it is all crushed up!
As for baby cats thinking "I'm superior to everything on this planet", they ain't met up with us yet!
When ever a cat tries to sneak across out garden we soon tell it all about us woofers and in which order we think they are!
Funny, they never hang about to discuss it any further!
Lunchtime wasn't much better, we went out and there it was, raining! OK, not too much but rain it did!
Back home things improved, OTL got out a carrot for us and we sat down the watch a film on the TV, 'The Outlaw Josey Wales'.
We have to watch it when TM is out 'cos she thinks it is too violent and should have a certificate X!
As if!
I suppose that we will have to clean up all the carrot crumbs before TM gets home from her Inky Glue Slapping day up the village hall!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Michael said you are right, it ain’t right. We visited a redundant church that was guided as best visited on a bright day, well the sun shone at 9am but then went away and stayed away. The church was made of stone and built in 1866, when we left it was noticeably less cold outside, alright for Saint Catherine though. Sounds very much like when the cats away the mice will play, maybe TM would like some of that kitten fodder if Miss May declines. It seems that you have one up on the passing cats they are definitely not as clever as moles or even rabbits but I guess they are really a bit quicker than you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have spent the evening watching “Tom and Jerry” with TM as she is too young for your type of film although even Tom and Jerry can get a bit violent. Have a super duper Sunday with plenty of rest for the forthcoming week xxxxxx
Yo maties. Well the weather here is pretty much the same as wot you got. It wasn't quite as cold today but still there is a bit of a chill to the wind when it blows up your kilt. I wore my new fleece when I went for my walk, it keeps my neck nice and warm and it covers my butt a bit so that stops the wind from blowing up my tail. I have to say the walk was a bit boring cos I think all my woofer mates were indoors in the warm, I don't blame them. It's nearly my bedtime cos I'm up early tomorrow for guard duty. Wot a shame Miss May doesn't like the kitty food, I wonder if the kitty food the vet uses might be more to her taste, next time one of you go down there you could see if they'll give you a sample tin to see if she likes it. Mind, if someone here didn't like their scoff I'd always offer to help them out. I bet Mrs TM had a good time today. Now if my boy puts on a film wot is x rated, my mum always cuddles me and covers my eyes if it gets scary, does OTL do that for you? Oh don't speak to me about cats, if I'm visiting someone who's got a cat I ignore it but if one comes in my garden then I tell it to woof off and make sure they get the message. Right, time for my last patrol of the night. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and cosy and hope that film doesn't give you nightmares. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
