It's been another one of those 'Mix Up Days'.
Old Two Legs was up early to get us out and back and the cages cleaned before he headed of to the hospital to get his eyes checked.
He got checked by the consultant fella who said that OTL needed to have his eye ball 'Polished'!
Now he had his cattle racks done some time ago but it looks like a cattle rack has returned, so with the aid of some laser gun thingy, he's going to get blasted and sort out his eye.
Only problem is, it will take another twp months before he will be invited back in! We reckon that will total eight months to get an eye ball polished and it will take 'Only a few minutes'!
Maybe we should borrow a torch and have a go ourselves!
OTL ordered up some 'Kitten Food' for Miss May on the advice of the vet and it is supposed to get some extra protein into Miss May to help with her Insolinoma. Now it's OK to get the stuff in, but getting a ferret to eat is another thing!
Still, if there is nothing else then she should eat it, claws crossed!
OTL put half a tin in with May and Eric and he put the other half of the tin in with Wendy and Monty. Who knows, they might eat it when OTL isn't watching, then it will be the question of who actually ate it?
Now, all this talk of baths, hair cuts and stuff has made OTL dig out the clippers and charge them up!
I do hope it is just 'Maintanance' and not a planned job!
With OTL off to the hospital, that means The Missus had to take us out for the midday walk. We had to show her the way we like to go and we didn't have the bother of a camera clicking away every time we have a wee!
Tomorrow we have the whole day to ourselves 'cos TM is off to her Glue Slapping day at the village hall.
That means we will be 'Resting' on the sofa with all the nibbles we can find!
Who knows, we might have a go at the 'Kittens Nosh' if those ferrets turn their noses up!

Here, Daisy, you want to watch out for that kitten nosh . . . it's wot makes kittens into know-it-all, arrogant, "I'm superior to everything on this planet" kind of animals - and you don't wanna be like that do you. Keep your claws crossed that Miss May doesn't started acting like a cat . . . you might have to take her down a peg or two!
ReplyDeletePoor OTL . . . maybe they will call him in earlier with a cancellation to polish his eyeballs. Hope TM enjoys her day of glue slapping while you guard the nibbles!

Yo maties. Poor OTL having to wait all that time to get his eyeball blasted. Hope he manages to get in earlier, I mean they should have done the job properly the first time and polished it after they shot it. You'd better keep an eye on him incase he doesn't see properly wot ferret he's putting in wot cage. Hope Miss May likes her new diet, if not you could probably help her out. My mum went and got stabbed this afternoon so she won't get pew nomia now. You should tell OTL it's probably not a good idea to come to close with sharp things until he gets his eye sorted, I mean, he might shave off a bit too much or something important. Sounds like you're in for a nice relaxing day tomorrow, all that snoozing on the sofa with snacks sounds a bit of alright to me. I think I'm due a lay in tomorrow. Hope Mrs TM enjoys her glue flinging tomorrow. Have a nice snuggly evening, cos it's a tad chilly and they reckon it's going to get colder next week. ReplyDeleteNow my worry with eyeball polishing and charging up clippers is, “Can he see just what or who he is clipping?”, before we know it TM will be eating the cat food and being approached by a man with a pair of charged up clippers!!!! I hope Miss May enjoys her new diet, if fish is good for insomnia then we should be all eating it except for TM and OTL in the evenings.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your restful lazy old Saturday we have to be awake because Harry gets our Saturday paper and we need to pay him the £1. TM is in for another lovely day getting inky and cakey hope she brings back a few snacks to make up for being away. xxxxxx
