Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!
Oh! We do just love Saturdays, Old Two Legs leaves the work computer switched off so he doesn't get involved with spread sheets and invoices, and orders and other really boring stuff!
Instead we go out walking over the foot paths and around all the trees and bushes!
This morning it was rather chilly and dark, really dark, so OTL didn't see us having a roll in a particular whiffy sniff! Mine you, when we got back he could see the skid marks all over our harnesses!
That means that tomorrow OTL will get them washed and hung up in the airing cupboard to dry off!
Miss May was a bit dopey this morning and didn't come out to play but rather wanted to have a cuddle with OTL when he was cleaning the cage.
OTL says it is right difficult scooping ferret poo out of a cage one handed whilst holding a ferret in the other arm!
It was only after her and Eric were back in the cage that she really woke up and went ferreting around the cage!
Lunchtime came and OTL asked Eric if he wanted to come out but Eric stayed curled up in the ferret Cuddle Cup saying it was just too cold. Miss Wendy and Monty were offered the chance of coming out but they both stayed hidden in the ferret bed, cuddled up and told OTL to 'Walk the Dogs' and to leave them alone!
The wind was coming in off the sea and the tide was in so it was rather nippy.
Back home we cuddled up with OTL on the sofa and watched some TV, well we started off watching but we all fell asleep after a little while, only to be woken up in turn by the dustbin men, one of the neighbours, two visitors to next door, the postman and the Avon Lady!
So the snoozing was a little broken!
Then late in the afternoon, The Missus returned from her glue slapping, well actually it was an 'Inky Day' which means she is covered from head to paw in inky splodges and and inky looking moustache where she wiped the back of her hand under her nose!
Tonight it will be a relaxing night and OTL has threatened to put both Holly and I in the shed if we wake him up tonight and he will know about our guarding 'cos he has set up a security camera to monitor our movements.
He can be dead sneaky sometimes!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well wot's all this about spying with security cameras on you and Holly chops? Oi, OTL play fair. Them security cameras should be outside waiting for nifflers and nargles, not inside watching Daisy and Holly. I'd go on strike if my mum did that to me. I went out this morning and it was freezing cold, I had my thick fleece on, I don't like it but it keeps me a bit warmer when trekking up the shops in this weather. I think I might have to snuggle up in my bed and when my mum says "walkies" I'll tell her it's way too cold. My mum said I kept her awake last night with my tummy rumbling and making gurgling noises, I didn't hear it and I had a really good snooze. I'm on guard duty again in the morning, but I might just snooze with one eye open cos I don't want to miss my zzzz's. My mum has been stamping this afternoon and I found a bit of card so I thought I'm make something pretty ......... yeah, you've guessed, I got in trouble again. Think I'll go have a patrol round the kitchen now in case there's any scoff trying to escape. Have a lovely evening all, put your paws up and stay warm. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI have seen on that Facebook thingy that TM and OTL were out this evening, going to Church to say how sorry they were at giving you doggie scoff, I think they are trying to sneak out, one thing that worries me is that TM will go wearing a moustache! It stayed dark longer this morning but I don’t understand why so I hope you were sporting your head torches 🔦. Ah sorry Miss May didn’t fancy a run but perhaps she knew what others didn’t, it was cold, cold, cold and dark, dark, dark.
ReplyDeleteSecurity cameras seem a good idea so hopefully this means no more guarding from you two, I went to a house once and the door bell went wooofff woooffffff instead of ding dong so get one of those and save your voices when visitors call. Hope the roll in the sniff was worth it, I was amused that OTL was going to get your coats washed rather than wash them. Poor TM who was not involved in it gets the fine job of washing them, off down the waters edge again with her scrubbing board and brush.
Archie seems to like the idea of card making his mum must find a group for dog crafters, has his grumbling, gurgling tum settled, I hope so. Keep warm xxxxxx
