Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
A little late getting up this morning and although it was only half an hour, we missed out on a sunrise but that means the the days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter!
It won't be long before we will be able to show the super sunrises we get this end of the world.
Now, you remember that Miss May was put on the pills yesterday and when we all got home OTL got the pill down her chops with the aid of some Ferretone.
She was sleepy and headed off to bed for a cuddle with Eric, so we left them alone to get over the excitement of the day.
Normally, Miss May is late in getting up, staying in bed until we come back from our morning walk and then slowly walks around the house for a slurp of Ferretone and a nibble of Brambles Biscuits.
She then finds a comfortable place to go back to snoozing.
Not this morning, when we got back from our walk we found Eric and May bouncing off the cage walls, rattling the cage door and running up and down the cage floors!
OTL opened the bottom door and Eric just flew out followed by May and OTL reckons that her paws didn't touch the ground!
Her nose went straight into the small glass cup OTL uses to grind up the pills and mix with a small drop of Lactose Free Milk which goes down a treat!
After that she was off down stairs for a game with Eric, in and out of the cardboard tunnels and plastic bags!
Well, it looks like those pills are magic! She hasn't been dribbling nor has she been falling over on her side either.
Success!
Lunchtime we took Wendy and Monty out for a walk. Normally Eric come out but he has been showing off and not wanting to get out of the bag!
We arrived on the sea front just before High Tide and noticed it was right up the beach, very high!

Monty was full of fun and was dashing about and rolling in the grass.

Miss May has been running around the cage this after noon and OTL is dead chuffed with the improvement she has made after just two tablets!

Wotcha maties. Well that is very good news about Miss May being bouncy and looks like them pills is doing her good, now I don't bounce on them but they do help me not to itch all the time and they help my tummy not get grumbly as well so you never know, one day soon people will be calling me Archie the bounce, now I wonder if Boris the bounce is on these pills as well, second thoughts, I reckon he's just a bouncy woofer. My mum has been shopping today and my boy helped her unpack and I heard him say that he'd unpacked everything except a present for me .......... hmmmmmm............ I had a walk up the shops this morning to get a cuddle with Brenda and some treats, it was very cold so I was glad to get home again even though I had my thicker fleece jacket on. My mums been in and out today so not a lot of snoozing done here or wrestling, although my boy did come down at one time and we had a good wrestle and then a quick snooze. I thought we'd have a day of wrestling and snoozing but we'll try again tomorrow cos my boy and my mum are both off then as well. My boy has to go to the TL vet on Thursday so I'll have to go with him cos when he's finished there he needs to get dropped at work then it will be time for me to visit Caroline. We've had a really busy week this week and it's not getting any quieter. Loved the pictures today. I hope you've got water wings for the ferrets incase that tide comes over the wall. ReplyDeleteWell done Miss May taking those tablets without all the woofer trouble you and Holly give OTL. Fantastic day she has had giving Eric a run for his money. Thinking of money, how is OTLs wallet now?
ReplyDeleteNo moles still and only the sniff of a rabbit, give it time when the weather warms up the rabbits will want to air those fluffy white tails. Tomorrow is Archies birthday so I hope you have a poem for him or an “Ode to Archie”, over to you. Very cold today and getting colder so you be careful, try to stay away from the vets. xxxxxx
Wahoooo ... GREAT news about Miss May. Hope she's feeling fine and dandy today too! All we need to do now is wait for OTL's wallet to recover!
