Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!
Happy Birthday to Arch
Soak yer tail in some starch
Spray yer head with some glitter
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday Archie Babe, save us some of your birthday cake!
Holly was up early this morning working on the song and with the help of the ferrets we managed to complete it by walkies time!
As normal, it was dark and cloudy and we only spotted Venus for a couple of moments, then it hid behind the clouds.
Miss May is showing improvements although she is still wobbly on her paws but she is awake enough to have a game of 'Push and Shove' with Eric!
After the game they both headed for bed and a snooze.
Eric woke up and started to rattle his cage door, so, to teach him a lesson Old Two Legs dressed him up and he came out with us for a lunch time walk!
He was not a happy ferret!
Most of the time he spent trying to get back into the bag!
All though the sun was shining, it was chilly 'cos the wind was blowing. Still, there were still sniffs to be had!
They have even taken the Christmas Tree down from off the church! |
Look, I know he is here and I can sniff him but he won't come out to play! |
I really don't understand Two Legs!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well thank you for the birthday song, it's very good and I can see Holly chops worked really hard on it. Now I nearly got a cake, I was in the shops getting some treats when a friend of my mum came in and he had a bag with a doughnut with icing and sprinkles in it, well I nearly had it but I was spotted just before I pounced and pinched the bag. Then on the way home, the dustbin men had been and they dropped a load of bread over the path, well, my mum was looking up someones path to see if they had found the pressie she left for them yesterday and she didn't see the bread until she heard me crunching on it, well the old girl can move fast when she feels like it, she was dragging me out the way and taking the bread off me. I got a toy for my birthday but it wasn't wrapped up, cos my mum said she wasn't having the same pantomime we had at Xmas, don't know wot she means. Glad Miss May is getting good effects from her new tablets. Now that will teach Eric not to rattle his door just before walkies time when it's cold outside. I needed my thick fleece today cos that wind would cut you in half. I reckon them moles are all deep down in their beds trying to keep warm. I reckon you're right about all the paperwork these TL's seem to do, it just goes backwards and forwards then in the bin. Tell OTL not to bother with it, tell him to just put his feet up and rest instead. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (birthday boy) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI was out at 4pm and it was daylight then suddenly by 4-30pm it was dark, we were out with Margaret today in Rochester and she bought herself a woolly hat with a pom pom on it so now her ears are all warm as well as her head. I would have knitted Archie a woolly hat for his birthday but he would have eaten it!
ReplyDeleteI wrote a poem though:
Archie woofer had a birthday,
He’s seven years old today,
What is his favourite pastime?
Oh to make his mum pay.
The wrappings on his presents
If he can’t eat make no sense
So have a happy birthday
I send hugs and cuddles
Don’t make your mum get into too many muddles. 🧁 🍫 🍬
Not very good but then I am not really a poet just a trier.
Hoping everyone has a good day tomorrow with Miss May having another enjoyable day. Keep away from the vets, they only cost money and try to visit some doggie treat shops. xxxxxx. 🧁 🍰
Happy birthday Archie!
ReplyDeleteI bet Eric has learnt his lesson & there's no cage rattling today!!!!
Even colder out this morning so take care xxx
