No Snow but it's Draughty!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back with you again!

Well, down this corner of the Empire we are snow free!

It has been a little chilly and the wind has been blowing but not enough to put us off our walkies!

Mind you, first thing this morning it was zero degrees on the temperature gauge and we didn't hang about!

Now, at lunch time Old Two Legs is plonking away on the computer and has no sense of time, not like wot us woofers do. So, I have to jump up and give the back of his seat a good thump. Then I crouch down in my special 'Walkies Time' position!

Time for Walkies OTL!
It never fails to get his attention and if he doesn't move, I give him another bash!

We met up with the little Jack Russell whose name I have forgotten, I think it is Amber.

Well, she had a knitted jacket that looks like it would be good and warm if it was snowing or windy.

Mind you it wouldn't be any good in the rain!

She came bounding up to OTL for a tickle behind the ears and to say hello and show off her coat!

Hey! Does my tail look good in this?
Of course, not satisfied with OTL saying she looks good in it, she just had to hang about showing it off to Holly who said that it looked good but lacked the handle like wot we got so that we can get lifted up into the car!

OMG! Do I really need a Handle?
We all had a laugh about that and carried on the the sniff patch to catch up on the passing woofers!

Miss May has been a bit naughty today, she has refused to take her tablet, no matter how many cuddles she got from OTL She has got to go back to the vet at the end of the month and OTL says he will get some medication in liquid form to squirt down her chops!

I reckon it will be as horrid as the stuff I got squirted down my throat!

I'm off to finish off the chicken before Holly decides she needs it more than I.

See you tomorrow and let's hope the snow stays away!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. It's been freeeeeeeezing here today, the snow has mostly gone now, just a few little bits left in the garden but it was still there first thing this morning when I went out. I came back in with a big lump of white stuff on my nose and my little sniffer was frozen. I stayed snuggled up tight to my mum all last night, I didn't even get out of bed for a drink like I usually do. It was way too cold to get out from under my blanket. I've had nice snuggles with my mum today. Loved all the pictures today, that little woofer looks very nice in her woolly jumper but I can see where the cold can still get in round the top of the legs, my fleece has got little sleeves for my front paws so the cold can't creep in and all my tummy is covered nice and snug. I haven't got a handle though, maybe I should send my mum shopping for a nice snuggly coat with a handle. You'll have to have a word with Miss May and tell her she needs to take her medicine cos it makes her feel better. She better watch out or the vet might say he'll give it to her in stabbing form, that wouldn't be nice. I've got my paws crossed that the snow doesn't come back, it's too cold. Hope you managed to get to your chicken in time. Have a lovely evening, stay warm all and enjoy any muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (thawing out) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Great "walkies time" pose! Clearly works a treat! Freezing here, but no snow. Xxx

  3. I am pleased the white stuff has stayed away to enable me to get out, when the ground is slippery I won’t go out for fear of falling due to a balance problem. Someone in my Craft Group has been knitting dog coats for friends, fortunately they have small dogs so don’t take too long, it keeps a draft out but no good in the damp. Your ones with handles are excellent because you don’t have to exert yourselves getting into the car, why have a chauffeur and then have to jump in when you can be lifted in! The new woofer on the block looks sweet in her coat with a nice “cable pattern” on it. You would have liked our dinner today, turkey, cheese and a creamy sauce, you probably wouldn’t have been so keen on the peas in it though. Hope Miss May comes to her senses and take her pill or things may get drastic, keep warm my lovely furry friends xxxxxx
