Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!
Well, let's all jump for joy! The Summer has arrived with a raspberry!
As a special treat for Old Two Legs, we woke him up a whole hour sooner than normal but actually it was the right time but just an hour earlier!
I can sympathise with OTL, I think all this fiddling about with the clocks is all wrong, they should leave it all set for GMT all year long and if you want to get up earlier to milk the cows, the get up earlier and leave up Town Woofers to sleep!
Us woofers have decided that we don't like being fiddled with!
Take this morning, up we get and OTL was up and wandering about in the dark looking for the camera 'cos he reckons there could be a sunrise worthy of photographing but when we got down to the sea shore what did we get?
North Wind and waves crashing onto the mud! |
Even when we turned towards the fort it didn't get any better, it looked right miserable!
The river flows from right to left but the wind is blowing it from left to right! |
Lunchtime wasn't much better, it was lighter but equally as cold and windy. We walked through the trees looking for anything interesting but all the birds were hiding in amongst the bushes and ivy.
I'll be glad when the sun comes back! |
I think to best place is back on our bed snoozing the afternoon away! |
With a bit of luck it should arrive on Monday and then we will see if Miss May slurps it all down as she is supposed to. It will be good to hide her crushed tablet in as well, once we have found out if she likes the stuff!
If she doesn't like it you can bet your tail that Eric will eat it all!
Today Eric has managed to pinch three of the 'Smoothies' that The Missus had hidden on her desk. TM managed to rescue one smoothie but the other two have gone!
I suppose we will have to start looking under all the furniture for the stolen goods!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well it don't seem much like summer here, there's a very cold breeze blowing up yer tail when you go out for walkies. Now I went up the sweet shop today and I got my cuddles from Brenda and do you know, I had the honour to be the last woofer in the sweet shop ever, as me and my mum came out the shop, the doors were locked for the very last time, I shed a tear but I'm waiting for my certificate and prize for being the last woofer in there, I mean, it must be something worth remembering mustn't it. Tomorrow morning, everything that went on in the sweet shop happens in the supermarket and instead of my mum working for Huttons newsagents and tobacconist and woofer greeters and treat distributors, she will be working for Nisa .......... pah. Well me and my mum didn't like losing our hours snooze. I can't say that either of us are overly happy at the thought of getting up early tomorrow either cos it will really be 3 o clock, not happy at all. Very nice pictures today but that water does look a tad on the murky side. I hope Miss Mays new stuff is to her taste and that she fattens up a bit. That Eric is a cheeky chappie, I bet you know his hiding places though. I can see Mrs TM using his nose to ink her card with if he don't watch out. Now don't work too hard this week, try to make time to put your paws up. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (VIP) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear another little shop had been lost to the community in favour of the giants. Congratulations on being a VIP (Very Important Pooch) tho. X
DeleteFlipping cold and windy day here too. Mind you, my washing dried in double quick time! Please tell OTL that I concur with his feelings about changing the hour! Hope TM finds her smoothies pronto or there'll be trouble! She will not be happy if she can't ink up something with them when she wants to xxx
ReplyDeleteOoooohhh I forgot to tell you wot me and my mum saw this morning, there was 3 Red Kites flying low over our garden when we spotted a squirrel on the roof of the house that backs on to ours, it managed to get down by climbing down the drainpipe but my mum reckons, one of the Kites might have put it up there on the roof, she reckons it might have been hungry and fancied a brekkie of squirrel but dropped it when it tried to fly off with it, it sure did look funny seeing a squirrel on a house roof. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DeleteYou have had an eventful day haven't you! X
DeleteOh it is too cold and it is supposed to be Summer, we decided not to go to Mote Park to see the little sit on trains out for their first outing of the season to paying riders. They only charge 30p so not a business as such. Michael wouldn’t have been able to stand about and with 5he cold a real no no, such a pity. ☹️ ☹️. I hope Miss May manages to put on a bit of weight with her new potion Archie should get a special recognition for his last leaving, our post office has moved from its recessed corner in a shop to alongside the other tills and the post office staff now help top up the shelves and sell merchandise. The post office has less space and is out of place, that’s progress! xxxxxx
