You know how super efficient our Old Two Legs is? I mean, up at crack of dawn, rushing around cleaning and generally getting everyone sorted out ready for the day ahead?
Not today, OTL was a whole hour late in getting up this morning 'cos he had a bad night, indigestion, and his night was rather disturbed with hunting around for some tablets which he couldn't find so it was back to a few mouth fulls of milk and a grumble about The Missuses cooking.
Only TM didn't do any cooking last night and if she did. just what damage can she do with a pork pie salad?

We didn't reckon on the weather and it looked like rain was going to chase us all the way home!

I mean, how many people cook a salad?
Lunchtime it was a little better but not warm enough to bring the ferrets with us, so, they stayed at home snoozing!
It was interesting to see just how the undergrowth had sprouted up since we last photographed it!

Holly was sniffing around and came across these plant looking things that I reckon look like fungi!
We shall keep an eye on these as we walk past every day and with a bit of luck we won't have them chopped down before we find out what they are!

Holly and I are on guard duty again tonight so, if OTL gets up again we will be able to escort him to the fridge for another slurp of milk!

Yo maties. Sorry to hear that poor OTL was feeling a bit off last night. Now maybe Mrs TM overcooked the salad. It's been a chilly rainy day here. I went for a walk before the rain came but I was so sad, I walked up the shop and my mum lifted me up so I could see Brenda through the window but she was so busy she only had time to give me a wave and couldn't come out to give me a cuddle or a treat. I went and sat outside the sweet shop but the shutters were down and eventually I had to give in and go home. My mum and my boy had fish and chips for dinner tonight so if they get indigestion they'll blame the cook at the fish and chip shop. Nice pictures today even if the sun wasn't out. Now I hope they don't cut down them thingys wots growing, I mean all the little insects will be homeless and hungry otherwise. I reckon Holly should have whispered back that she's got a boyfriend who would come down and chew that woofer up if he threatened her. Tomorrow I've got to go and see Caroline and I know she'll spoil our cuddles by putting me in the bath then comb me and clip me, I told my mum it's too cold but she said she'll take my coat so I don't get cold ............ that's not wot I wanted to hear though. I hope Mrs TM didn't burn your chicken. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice snackettes and a better nights snooze. I hope OTL has been to the chemists to buy some anti pork pie salad pills, this I-pad when I wrote pills it suggested “pill”, “pill soup” and “ 💊”, pill soup how strange, bettter keep an eye on TM in the kitchen, second thoughts better keep both eyes on her. Poor OTL suffering from the pork pie malady and I hope he has caught up on his day. It has been a miserable weather day the sun did show up for a little while between the rain. Which umbrella do you like best? ☔️ ☂ one with rain and one without?
ReplyDeletePlenty of greenery to frolic in until the grass mowing men turn out to play, such a pity then no place to hide for the little ones. You were lucky, or Holly was to see the bigger woofer out with his little friend there might have been an argument.
