A Muggy F1 Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

It has been one of those muggy days here in the south, it started off with a breeze and some cloud, then it went all sunshine and  after our midday walk it went sort of cloudy and muggy. We could almost say it looked like rain was heading our way!

We found another new butterfly and it's called a Green Hairstreak, it's nothing rare but we hadn't seen one!

A Green Hairstreak hiding in the green leaves!
We spotted a caterpillar hanging by a single strand looking to land on something!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!
On the news this morning some scientist were looking for reports of Cuckoo Spit which is really the Frog Hopper in hiding.

Well we saw some but can't remember who to report to!

Well here is the spit but where is the Frog Hopper?
This is a new plant to us but the colours look dramatic!

No, we don't know but it looks good!
Now, yesterday I promised some pictures and here they are!

2019 Crafty Thong!
Now this one is the cake that Rosie won but said OTL could have!

Who's a Lucky OTL!

One seriously Yummy Cake!
The only problem is, OTL wants it all for himself and won't share with us!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well smashing picture of the crafty thong and that cake looks well good, now OTL, share, cos Rosie shared her prize with you and she wouldn't want you to get sick cos you ate the lot. That purple flower is deadly nightshade, or so my mum says, she says it's very poisonous so don't eat it. Them cuckoos do a big spit don't they. We've had sun most of the day with a couple of little showers, mainly when my mum puts her washing out to dry. Now my mum reckons a green hairstreak is wot you get when you rub your nose then pull your fingers thru your hair, sounds about right to me. Hope Mrs TM has recovered from all her hard work at the crafty thong. Have a lovely evening all and I hope now that OTL has been persuaded to share a bit of his cake with you all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. No doubt OTL will give a little share of HIS cake, he is so generous. I meant to say yesterday that I think the conversation of Foxglove versus Lupin cropped up this time last year but anyway it is so pretty. The green butterful I haven't seen before but I am not very observant or clever when it comes to those things. At the weekend part of our evening we were in teams of four, our team was called The Four Goodturns (four of us their name was Turner, get it?) We had to name ten things that began with a given letter and one item was A Bird, we got a point if we had a uniique answer and I was pleased to get points for (L)apwing, (O)yster Catcher and (S)and Martin, our team was 2nd.
The cake looks so delicious and look at all those lovely ladies working so hard. The purple does look pretty and if Archies mum is right it is best to stay away. Hope TM is a bit decovered now, some giggle juice and a slice of cake work wonders. xxxxxx
