Yes, it's the weekend all the Crafty Ladies have been waiting for all year!
It's the Allhallows Crafty Thong!
There were loads of ladies having a great old time sloshing glue and glitter and doing loads of amazing things!
Holly and I didn't get to go up there but instead we sent Wendy and Monty up for cuddles!
There was the famous fruit cake that has some serious icing and Old Two Legs had four goes to guess it's weight. Well he looked at it them moved it across the table and had another guess.
Guess wot?
He didn't win, Miss Rosie guessed the weight but she said that if she won, the cake was to be given to OTL on account he so loves fruit cake!
OTL was tickled pink and asked that we send super big thanks to Rosie for such a wonderful present.
He also won a bottle of giggle juice that The Missus has already pinched!!
One Happy OTL!
We will show you the pictures tomorrow 'cos he left The Missus to bring the cake home by the car as it was too heavy to carry home on foot!
The day has been full of sunshine and blue skies and this morning OTL spotted what he thinks is an Irish Damselfly which is supposed to be a bit of a rare sight. Looking at the body it seems to be black with blue rings and that is the only mention made in his Book of Insects, so begorogh, it's Irish!

Congratulations on getting your mits on the fruit cake, even tho you didn't guess the weight correctly. Very kind of Rosie. Sounds like everyone enjoyed themselves.

Yo maties. Glad to hear the crafty thong went well and wot a lovely thing Miss Rosie did to donate her prize to OTL. Shame you and Holly chops didn't get to go up there cos I bet there was lots of titbits around for you both to mug. Still I bet after a hard days guarding you both might have been a bit too tired for a celebrity call in. Just think, all those ladies wanting cuddles with you and ooohhhing and ahhhing over you would have worn you both out and then who would be around to do the guarding of the fruit cake last night. Nice pictures yesterday OTL. My mum reckons that lupin is probably a foxglove as well. If you see that little irish but again tell him he's facing the wrong direction for Dublin, he needs to do a turn round and go the other way. Them daisys are very pretty but not as pretty as the real Daisy, wink, wink ........... Right I've got to go off for my walk now. Have a lovely day all, hope you manage to mug a bit of cake. We have been away and such a lot of things going on, mostly shopping, eating and sheep watching, there was a raffle and we won some German wine (big bottle) box of shortbread (big box) and some smellies (Wild Blackberry and Apple) the judges are out of that one. We played Beetle and had quizzes and ate Ham, new potatoes and salad then we had a Cheese and Crackers (bring your own cheese). Bad news is a brought home a cold, started sneezing before we left and it is developing well!
