Hi Woofers!
It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Last night was great, I mean, everyone was bashing away at the giggle juice and laughing and telling tales well into the night. I headed off to bed early 'cos I was rather tired and having done some serious mugging of the King Plawns my little tummy was rather full! Holly had her share as well and to finish off we had a bash at the Plawn Clackers!
We slept very well last night!
Now, today there were plans made to visit the Kent County Show but the closer we got to leaving time the more often we were shooed off to the bedroom.
Then it happened, Old Two Legs told Holly and I it was going to be too hot for us woofers to be walking around the grounds with the hot sun beating down on us and no matter how much water we drank we would have been very uncomfortable!
Holly and I were not happy puppies!
Well, the kitchen door was left open so we could go out for a wee or whatever and there was loads of water and a big bowl of Brambles Biscuits, so we wouldn't get hungry or thirsty!
I must admit, it was terribly hot today and maybe OTL was right and we would have been better off not going, but it still didn't make us any happier!
About half way through the afternoon they arrived back all hot and worn out, that will teach them!
OTL is heading off to the fish and chip shop so we are off to remind him we want a big sausage!

Yo maties. Well I'm glad you got some serious muggings last night, let's hope there's a massive sausage for you and Holly chops as a treat for staying home and guarding the towers. It has been very hot here today so I've stayed indoors until I need a wee or a poo cos it's way too hot out there. I had visitors this afternoon, Brenda and Millie came to see me and have sniffs and cuddles, which was nice until Millie tried to sit on my mums lap and leave me out in the cold. Well I wasn't having that so I went and sat with Brenda and she gave me snuggles. Brenda is enjoying her retirement and Millie is happy because Brenda doesn't have to leave her while she goes to work so it's a win, win for both. ReplyDeleteSad that you didn't get to go to the the Show Ground but OTL was right, we went with our friends into the village of Keymer and left Harry Woofer in the Motorhome with a cool breeze and some snacks and water, he is nearly 15 years old so didn't really mind. He got four big fusses when we got back and opened the wine! xxxxxx
