Stone Me! More Fungi!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another fun day down in North Kent. Young Eric came out with us this morning for a run. He had been rattling the cage door to attract Old Two Legs then jumping up and down and squeaking!

Miss Wendy slept on gently snoring!

We have noticed some softening in the relations between Eric and Wendy. A few days ago OTL found them in bed together having a snooze but as soon as OTL walked into the office Eric jumped out of bed and ran over to the cage door to get a slurp of Ferretone!

We have notice that when the pair of them are out on a morning rampage they quite often pass each other without and screaming or fighting. So, claws crossed the situation is getting better!

Lunchtime we left them snoozing and headed off to the beach.

Well, the tides out and that mud does look inviting!
There we were, contemplating a muddy paddle. That was until a couple of woofers passed by looking like they were ear marked for a bath and dried with an air blaster!

It was fun but stick to the sand, it's cleaner!
 Holly did enjoy a roll!

It just don't get any better than this!
As we headed back we spotted one of those 'Poo Signs' that Two Legs like painting on walls and poo bins but this one was different 'cos it had one of those painted stones resting on it!

and the sheep is called Shaun!
OTL was more interested in the fungi he spotted. He has had a look in his Fungi Book but there are so many that look alike!

Well it looks like this when it's growing but........

When it's grown it looks like this!
But we still don't know what it's called!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Wotcha maties. Well I'm pleased that things are a tad better with Wendy and Eric, I'll keep all my paws crossed that they keep improving so that they can move in together permanently, I'll tell my mum to keep her paws crossed as well. Nice pictures today, Holly looks like she's really enjoying that roll. My mum was talking to the groomer yesterday about the day I came down and went plodging in the mud, it sure is nice mud to plodge in down your way, I don't blame them woofers for getting stuck in, shame that all the TL's seem to want to get if off, it's supposed to be good for the skin you know. I'm off to the vet in the morning, butt check time, I must admit it is getting a little itchy down that way so I've had a little scoot up the carpet today. I've got Shawn sheep on one of my pillows in my bed, whoever is painting them stones is doing a good job. Hope OTL had an easier day today, he has been working very hard lately. I went for a nice walk this morning and bumped into Milly and Brenda so we had a nice chat about sniffs while we walked along. Hope Miss Izzy is improving. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some tasty snackettes. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (itchy butt) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Good signs with Eric and May, paw crossed that it continues. I don’t think the sticky mud is good for your fur, it might be good for skin but not when it is covered in woofer at least the sand brushes out usually and doesn’t signal a bath. Hope you are keeping a check on Izzy let her know we are all thinking of her 💕.
Lovely fungi pictures now it is damp there should hopefully be lots to find and photograph. I hope Archie is pleased with the vet tomorrow and gets nice cuddles and treats with no big bills. xxxxxx

  3. Holly looks like she's having a GREAT time rolling around in the sand! The other pooch looks to have had similar fun in the mud!

Good to hear that the ferrets are tolerating each other now. Long may this continue.

Great pictures . . .love that someone keeps leaving pebble art around your area.
