Spring has got going at last!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it looks like the weather is changing, well, down this end of the world!

Yesterday it warmed up a little and this morning on our walk it was almaost balmy!

Holly and I enjoyed loads of new sniffs on the walk and Holly's limp had gone as well. Mind you, Old Two Legs kept her on a 'short leash' to stop her straining her leg by tearing around the sea front.

We have been missing the sunrise for a while but as we said before, when the clocks go forward we should pick up on the sunrise.

However, that getting up an hour earlier is a real pain in the tail and it takes so long to get used to getting up that early!

The Missus has just received a big box from Martin, (number one son) and that is her first birthday pressy. We don't know what it is and she has promised not to open it until the 26th March.

Not that we believe her for one moment! 😂

Although the sunrise was missed, we did get this shot looking over the Isle of Sheppy.

Well, it's got to be better than rain!
Lunchtime we headed out for out lunchtime walk but we took the big car. OTL explained that a man was arriving soon to mend the windscreen on the small car. We had a big truck throw a stone from its wheel that then landed on the screen of the little car.

Now we have a 'star' on our screen which, OTL hopes, the man will be able to mend!

OTL had to send a picture of what it looks like, so, here it is!

Big innit?
Holly said that from the picture it looks like a bird but when you get inside the car, it looks like a star!

Well, the man turned up at two thirty with his box of tools and some sticky stuff to stick it all together again.

He made a good job of it and you can hardly see the repair!

Now, all we have to do now is to dodge trucks throwing rocks out of its tyres!

We are looking for ideas on what to get TM as a birthday present, Holly suggested teeth cleaning chews and OTL thought we would get told off if we did that!

Eric suggested a new blanket but we decided that was a 'No-Go'

So, any one got an idea!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it don't feel like spring here today, it's quite chilly even in the ⛅. I don't like losing an hour snooze they should ban it. I wonder if that big box is a supply of toilet rolls, I reckon any one would be well pleased to get a thoughtful gift. Glad the chap managed to mend the windscreen. Nice picture today. I went for an early walk, making sure to keep a safe distance from passing bodies wot might be unhealthy. My mum popped over town and she didn't see any other customers in the shop, she did see my boy though. You could get Mrs TM a new pot of glue for her birthday and a pot of glitter if she's been really good. Pleased to hear Holly chops isn't limping anymore. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Now Archie I was wondering about the same as you, either toilet rolls, pasta or tinned veg would make a fantastic birthday present for the lady who doesn’t have everything, oh how thrilled she is going to be. We had rain all afternoon and the forecast for tomorrow is cooler so looking forward to that. Warm in the van though so no problem. Glad Holly has lost her limp, every event is closing down pretty grim ☹️ ☹️ take care and I hope you all have enough supplies for whatever comes of all this mess xxxxxx

  3. Great picture. Pleased your windscreen got fixed and is nice and safe again. Also glad to hear Holly is good to go now.

Well, how can we give you present suggestions when we KNOW TM looks at the blog?

But if I were you, you could take a look at the Lavinia Stamps website with TM and see if there are any stamps she would like . . . she could tell you a few and you could pick from them so she wouldn't know WHICH ones she was getting.

Hope you and everyone that visits this blog is taking good care of themselves and staying safe and well (and as happy as possible in these difficult times).

    Hugs, Sarn xxx
