Hello Woofers!
It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!
Now, you know how much pain Holly was in yesterday, ooh the agony, the pain
and she could hardly walk let alone limp properly!
That nice vet sent her home with a bottle of pain killing jollop and a list
of instructions for Old Two Legs and a big bill!
This morning Holly jumped down off the bed and trotted down stairs then lept
onto the sofa for a cuddle with The Missus.
No sign of a limp but OTL wasn't taking any chances and sent us off for a
walk around the football field where we couldn't get a chance to run or jump on
the playground stuff!
Lunchtime we managed to get a wander along the sea front and there was OTL
walking behind Holly telling her to 'Slow Down' if she looked like she was
getting a trot on!
So, Holly has spent today not limping and OTL has been looking at the vet
bill and wondering if Holly would have got better on her own!
Holly reckons that it was a miracle the way her leg has got better!
Yeah, I still reckon she was pulling a flanker!
OTL had an appointment with the dentist this morning, just a check-up and
after that he was declared as not needing any work, that made him a happy
puppy!
Of course, there was the bill to pay but I suppose he didn't mind cos the check-up
fee is less than the one where they are drilling holes in his teeth or pulling
them out!
OTL has been inspecting Holly's paw checking on any lumps, bumps or excess
hair between the pads but all is well, so, we will be keeping on with the
jollop just in case she has a relapse!
I see that Auntie Sue is off on her travels again, I bet she is touring all
the eating hoses where she is!
OTL has been playing about with the bits of paper again and with a bit of
luck he will be almost finished by tonight!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well way to go Holly chops. Holly has been subscribing to my online acting lessons and she has passed her first exam. See I told her how to fool the TL's and get extra attention, so ok you have to go to the vet & be examined but you get used to going and start looking forward to it. My boy says I could get an Oscar for my acting so I thought I could make a Bob and pass on my valuable skills, now Holly you owe me 2 broccoli stalks & a teef cleaning chew. Glad to hear OTL got away without spending too much on his teef. Now Holly is learning the noble art, you may have to do some overtime. Anyway glad to hear Holly isn't limping anymore cos it's quite tiring. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWahoo! Great news about Holly. let's hope she continues to stay fit & healthy. Glad all ok at dentist for OTL xxx
ReplyDeletePS . . . Sent birthday card 4 TM early in case post service gets disruption x
ReplyDeleteWe have to be careful with this virus thingy that is going around, we see some think that older people should be at home and not let loose on everyone else, then those who say that children don’t get ill but pass it on to anyone else so everyone should keep away from children. Riots in shops and general misery all round, Spring is coming but it looks like a bad year for everyone, places shutting, so very depressing.
ReplyDeleteNew thing that we haven’t heard before is that hand sanitisers contains an ingredient found in anti freeze which is poisonous to woofers and all animals so don’t go licking any hands 💕.
Holly and her leg is a mystery, the vet seems to have sold a miracle remedy, one use and cured?? Still OTL has some small change from the dentist, perhaps he could throw three coins in your water feature and make a good wish. Be careful, take care of each other, paws crossed xxxxxx
