Chopped, stabbed, poked and pulled!

 Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

What a day we have had, I mean, this morning it was all fun and games, Miss Wendy came out with us for a walk. Eric showed off because he wanted to come out with us as well.

Lunchtime we left Eric to snooze while Holly and I enjoyed the sunshine and of course the shade under the bench.

You know, I could stay out in this shade all day long!

After lunch Old Two Legs had to rush off to the carrier and then call into the farm shop for some bird seed. There were two sacks available, one with aniseed and one without. Now I still don't know what the difference is on that one has aniseed in it and one doesn't. It doesn't seem to do the birds any harm with or without and it costs the same!

Once he had got back there was just enough time for a bite of lunch before we were dressed up in our big heavy harnesses.

It was Holly that remembered that we had an appointment with the vet to get the anti flea and anti tick drops. What OTL hadn't told us was that we were going to get our claws clipped!

I now know why he made us wear our heavy harness!

OTL was hanging onto the harness handle while Holly and I were jumping around like bucking broncos!

I was wrapped up in OTL's arms while the vet grabbed one of my paws and I was then tugging to get my leg back under my tummy!

It was a fight to the finish and while he managed to cut my claws, there were a couple that didn't need cutting 'cos I had bee walking on the concrete on the sea wall and rubbing them down a bit!

After that we got stabbed and the vet wrote out a prescription for the flea and tick drops and it was as OTL stood in front of the till that we noticed that OTL was beginning to have a panic attack!

Mind you, he always has a panic attack at this point!

Now, how did Archie Babes TL got on at the dentist? Did they fill the tooth or decide she didn't need it any more?

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well wot a day we've had today. I have been viciously assaulted again, this time by a wasp. Me and my mum had planned a nice siesta and I had a bit of scoff and then went out to do a wee, when I came in we got on the sofa when I realised all was not well with my paw ........ I yelped and my mum jumped, I had a nibble of my paw and then I yelped again and spat out a nasty vicious wasp. That was it, in the car off to the vet before I could take a second bite of that nasty vicious being. My mum just had time to put it in a bottle of water to drown it, it deserved a long slow lingering death if you ask me but I can tell you, after I slapped my pearly whites on it's butt, it wasn't feeling very well at all. I got stabbed at the vet with some stuff wot makes you feel quite sleepy and my mum went weak at the knees when she was presented with the £73 bill. Now, my mum didn't have much luck when she went to the dentist this morning ..... she was offered root canal treatment but told it probably wouldn't work but they'd give it a go ....... my mum decided that she would forego the torture and just have the toof taken out there and then. Now my mum said she got stabbed twice then the dentist proceeded to yank the toof ..... my mum told the dentist to stop cos she could still feel it and the yanking was agony. My mum got stabbed again twice and they proceeded to yank again ....... STOP said my mum, I can feel it ..... now the dentist said was my mum sure she could feel pain ...... now my mum has felt some pain this last few weeks felt sure that wot she was feeling was pain and she didn't think she was feeling anything pleasant at the time. My mum got another stabbing and they proceeded to yank again, my mum said she could still feel it, but the dentist said not to worry cos it was nearly out .... my mum reckons she was at least 4 feet off the couch by then but anyways, the toof came out and my mum landed back on the couch. They said to wait and see if she was still in pain and if she was to go back and they would look at taking out another toof ...... now she'll be sucking her dinner through a straw at this rate. Well we think we'll probably have an early night cos we've both been in the wars today. I feel your pain Daisy at having your claws cut and wot a good job you managed to get a couple of them sorted yourself on the path. Nice picture of you and Holly chops under the bench. I bet you needed a bit of shade cos it's been very hot again today. Now last night when I went out for my last wee, wot should I see waiting for me outside the back door ....... one of my little froggie mates, now I haven't seen any of them for so long so naturally I had to take the time to have a game of sniff and hop. My mum had to get my scoff bowl with some scoff in it to get me in cos I was enjoying the game so much I didn't want to stop. Tell Eric not to be sad about not getting his walk, there are vicious beasties out there wot might assault him, he's safer at home in his cage. My mum has been escorting me round the garden with the zapper so if a wasp even looks at me the wrong way, it will be toast. My boy was very sympathetic when he got home but then he started laughing cos he says it wasn't affecting my ability to eat ........ well I've got news for him, firstly I have to keep my strength up and secondly, I'll bite his butt if he carries on. Tell OTL my mum says she feels his pain and hopes he gets over his panic attack. Sometimes I think although the vets are kind to us woofers, they could be a bit kinder to our TL's as well. Take care all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (very brave warrior) Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
