Hi Woofers,
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
You know, it's supposed to be summer now and all full of sunshine and factor 35 but here in North Kent it looks like the monsoon has arrived!
The pond got filled up to almost the top overnight and The Missus had to put on her heavy rain coat when we went out this morning.
Mind you, after a quick wee and a poo I was ready to go back home as well!
We have decided to wait until the sunshine comes back before Holly joins the ferrets. That means she can stay on the fitment as long as she wants!
I told you she was wrapped up in a pillow of degradable bamboo, well, Old Two Legs has taken a picture so you can see how super it looks.
The 'Willow Tree Angel' came from three lovely ladies Judith, Jane and Rachael, to stand guard next to Holly.
TM has said that she will keep the angel in her workshop because it gives her comfort knowing how kind people are.
With all this rain, it is a good excuse for getting up on the sofa or OTL's chair and rolling onto my back and pretend I'm walking on the ceiling!
I do this 'cos it's great fun especially when TM and OTL sit there wondering what I'm doing!
They really don't know just how much fun it is both walking on the ceiling and better still, looking at the expressions on their faces!
Classic!
Lunchtime we were down the beach again ducking and diving between showers, OTL wouldn't let me go in for a paddle or a swim, spoilsport!
OTL was still hunting his bugs but even they were hard to find especially with the rain dripping from off the trees!
Mind you, he found this one basking in a shaft of sunlight but had to walk into a bunch of nettles to get close enough for a picture!
It's OK, the nettle stings will heal up by tomorrow!
We have noticed that the birds are bringing their youngsters to feed in out garden, swinging around on the feeders and the fat ball baskets. We get all sorts in the garden, finches, sparrows, Robin and some of the larger ones up to Magpie and Pigeon size.
Every so often we get a passing Sparrow Hawk zoom in and out of the garden but he's not always successful 'cos there are always the small birds who are good at playing watch out!
The forecast says it will be raining tomorrow so it looks like I will have to dig out the rain coat again!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well that's a lovely little pillow wrapped around Holly chops and that little angel is beautiful, I know Holly would approve. What lovely ladies to think of sending that. I reckon Holly will be very happy that she's staying inside while the weather is so wet. I like laying on my back with my legs in the air as well, it gives the underneath bits a nice airing. We've had a very lazy day here as well, the weather is rotten and my and my mum were up really early so we've decided to have a paws up day and we'll probably have a paws up day tomorrow. I had a fight with my boy this afternoon and I was telling my mum that he was too rough and he's a big bully cos he's bigger than me and do you know, do you know, she only slapped him and told him off once then went back to watching the telly, now I was hoping she was going to beat him to a pulp and she let me down badly. We're all going to have a lay in tomorrow but, I might just try and sneak into my boys room and give him a savaging for being such a big bully today. I think I might go and have a pre supper snooze. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch, my mum and my big bully boy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIt's really good that you are so upbeat Daisy! Beautiful cushion and Angel for Holly. Thinking of you all x
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the picture of Holly and the angel. How thoughtful of your friends to send the angel.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've been entertaining OTL and TM. I'd like to see their faces when they wonder what you're up to!
