A Wet Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well now, we made good use of the clock change, both Old Two Legs and I snoozed an extra half an hour in bed!

Mind you, The Missus was up at half three and clumping about sorting out all the stuff she took away with her to North Wales.

It was wet and windy first thing but I managed to get around the old golf course and back home to OTL before it really got wet!

By the time lunchtime arrived it was still raining so OTL got my rain coat out and then we headed off to the sea wall.

It was horrible, I mean, how would you like it walking in the rain and having the wind blow the wet right up your rain coat?

...and having a wee in the wind is dangerous!

It was amazing just how many leaves had blown off the trees, at first, I thought we had lost the Bench and Poo Bin!

Blown away?

There was a heavy mist over the water and looking beyond the mud flats was impossible!

Now the water has been dun gone as well!

We didn't see anyone at all, not a TL or Woofer and the birds were hiding in the trees as well!

We were sorry to hear that Brenda is still in hospital but she is in the best place possible, I mean, you get waited on hand and foot!

We did laugh at Milly having to wear a cat collar, how terribly embarrassing to be seen out wearing a cat’s collar!

At this rate she will be chasing birds in the garden next!

We got back home and OTL was soaked, walking into the wind was not good for his trousers, they were soaked right the way through and his jacket was almost as bad!

Let's hope we get some better weather tomorrow.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well wot a horrible day weatherwise it's been. It's cold, it's wet and now it's dark, the only good thing was the extra hour for a snooze and I bet we don't get another extra hour tomorrow. Now, I have to tell you something even more embarrassing than wearing a cat collar ............ my mum was getting a bit bothered because Milly has only been doing wees and she was thinking of phoning the vet tomorrow for some advice, well when she got up this morning, she moved the chair from in front of her dressing table ...... well wot did she spy there under the dressing table you might well ask ........ well let me just tell you it was a good job she had a truffle bag in her dressing gown pocket ..... now far be it from me to grass up the culprit, just follow my paw............ --------> it was her. Wot a good job my mum closed the bedroom door last night cos if my boy had stepped on that truffle in the dark during the night, he would not have been a happy camper. We went out for a walk when the rain stopped for 10 minutes but Milly refused to walk so I walked and she carried .... I reckon my mum needs to get a ferret bag. Now we have had news from the hospital today, Brenda didn't have a very good night and was going to have x-rays and tests but she text us this afternoon saying she slept most of the day and can't wait to come home. My mum doesn't think Brenda will be let out for a few more days at least. Just as long as I don't get the blame for any truffles I suppose I can put up with it. She's a right tart with my boy though, I've got my eye on her. We're hoping the weather will be a bit better tomorrow on account of my boy has to go to work but my mum will want to give him a lift if it's hissing down, now the problem with that is, when my mum has had to go out, she gets my boy to keep an eye on me and Milly on account Milly barks if my mum leaves us ...... so if she has to give my boy a lift, he can't keep an eye on us and Milly will probably bark ....... My mum says her brain is scrambled at the moment and she's glad that she doesn't need to go to work until Friday, mind, I reckon it will take a couple of weeks to unscramble her brain. Nice picture of you in your rain coat Daisy. I see old Boaty has gone today, it's a wonder you didn't see it at lunchtime but then it might have been raining too hard. We watched Mrs TM flinging the glue today and enjoyed it. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch, the truffle leaver and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
