Pied Wagtail.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy Dog here!

Well, it's the next day after the storm, it has all quieten down and the fence panels have stopped flying into next doors garden!

It was a good job the leaves hadn't grown yet or there would have been more trees on the ground!

A Gloomy Morning along the sea front!

It didn't get any better, or warmer as we strolled along the sea wall but at least the tide was out and there were some insects flying about.

I would have thought that insects hadn't got out of bed yet but just to prove me wrong.

Can you see the insects yet?

No?

Well, there was a Pied Wagtail hopping and bopping along the sea wall in front of us picking off the insects that we had disturbed from the grass.

I must admit, it looks good and healthy but not yet in its summer coat. While we were out, The Missus said she saw a Sparrowhawk land in our garden, no sign that it had caught any of our birds but you can bet it will keep trying!

The Froggy's have been plopping away in the pond every time the kitchen door is opened and as there is little sign that we will have any cold snaps you can bet they will start mating early this year!

Old Two Legs keeps brushing me and mumbling about 'Long Hair', I reckon that it won't be long before I get washed and shaved!

First, he has to catch me!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog!

  2. Yo Daisy. Well I thought the weather here was going to be good today, it started out quite nice so I took my mum for an early walk and the sun was shining, there was a little bit of wind but it wasn't too cold, it was quite pleasant. I suggested my mum hang the washing out on account of it being dry and a little bit of wind, well she hung out the big bedspread and then about 20 minutes later, down came the rain. It didn't last too long but the rest of the day has been grey and a bit chilly. Smashing pictures today. I didn't see any insects but I did see a few squirrels, I think they were hiding away during the storm. I haven't seen any of our flogs yet either. I have to say I'm enjoying my lay ins with both my mum and my boy home. I'm off to put my paws up before I have a snackette. Take care, stay warm and safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
