Hi Woofers!
Daisy here.
Another super day in the sunshine. I'm hoping that it stays like this when we are away!
Today I was prevented from going in for a dip, well, the tide being was a bit of a pain first thing this morning.
You can't really swim in the mud!
Back home Old Two Legs got under the bonnet of the car and checked up on the oil and water levels then pronounced that it was all fit and ready to head off to Scotland!
While he was doing all that, I stayed in the back of the car checking out my traveling place.
When I get my bed put in, I reckon I'll have the best traveling snooze box on the road!
While OTL was taking out the tonneau cover he came across a screen made of netting. It is a netting to keep unruly woofers in the boot area of the car when traveling.
That got taken out 'cos I'm a good girl and don't need any restrictions like that!
Lunchtime we were down the sea front again but OTL wouldn't let me go in for a swim, he's a right meeny!
The Ox Eye Daisies are still blooming but there are patches where they have 'gone over'.
Another patch of daisies!
OTL had taken the Macro Lens with him today and we spotted a fly we don't recognise. We have looking in the reference books but can't identify it.
We have sent a copy of the photo off to a man wot knows and providing he isn't away on holiday; we may get a reply before the end of this week!
Only managed one shot at it 'cos it flew off as soon as the shutter went!
We will be back again tomorrow, maybe we can get a better shot!
Bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Well wot a shame you didn't get your dip today. Smashing photos, did you try calling the fly's name to find it out? I mean, I don't know one fly from another but sometimes I woof, Bert or Fred or Gertie and see if they recognise their name. That chap must know an awful lot of flies if he can tell you its name from a photo ...... does he have mug shots like wot the police have? Sounds like your travelling space is coming along well, just make sure it's nice and comfie before you set off. It's been very warm here today, I had a very early walk, I was out and back home before my boy went to work even. I did see one other woofer out but I reckon all my mates were still home and in their pits. We've had a really nice quiet day today, we've done quite a few jobs and then put our paws up and watched a bit of telly We're off to bed in a minute so I'll say good night, take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
