The Carnival has come to town!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy is here again!

A big hello to Auntie Sarn who left a message yesterday, I thought she had gone away on holiday, we haven't seen her for ages!

The weather is still hot, mind you I'm not complaining 'cos I like the warm breezes and of course there is always the chance of going in for a swim if we catch the right tide!

Even with the blue sky and balmy breeze we can still get a good early morning picture across the estuary!

That also includes the mud as well!

The Summer Carnival has come to town and over the last few days have been busy setting up the show.

I reckon if it was a little darker of an evening Old Two Legs would be there with his camera taking pictures of the Merry Go Round all lit up and whirling around!

You know they spend a week getting it all set up, run for two days and then clear off! It must be worth is but it seems like a lot of work for such a short time!

I'm still looking as bald as a coot but I'm getting used to it and I will admit it is much cooler that with all my hair on!

OTL is still hunting for flowers and bugs, this one has burst into life. It's not a thistle even though it looks the same colour.

We found this Soldier Beetle hiding in the flowers, though there are not as many as in past years. Lets hope there will be more of them before the summmer is out!

Of course, while OTL is thrashing about in the bushes I like to find a bit of shade and have a rest!

The Missus is off tomorrow to the village hall for a game of glue slapping and gassing, that's one of her favourite past times and so it seems does all the ladies locally!

OTL and I plan to have a quiet time snoozing the day away!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

  1. Yo Daisy, well it's been another scorcher here today so me and old puggle have stayed firmly in the breeze of the fan. It was a bit cooler during the night though so with all the windows open, the loft hatch open and a big fan in the bedroom and my personal woofer fan, I had a good nights snooze. Did you hear all them wimmin gassing today Daisy, they must all have very strong jaw muscles for all that gassing. I wondered if it was a new olympic sport and they were practising for gold. Smashing pictures, best ones are of you and don't you look luverly. Do you think OTL might take you for a ride on the waltzer at the fair? I think I need another siesta before dinner so take care and stay safe and cool all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch, puggle and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
