Hello Woofers.
Daisy here.
And so is Autumn! The sunrise was a little redder than it has been the last few days but the wind was howling in off the North Sea. Old Two Legs was getting blown about and had trouble keeping his hat on!
The view was different from normal and showed just one tree, a bench and the Poo Bin!
It made a change to see just one tree!
By the time we had to turn off the path and head into the woods, the sun was still hidden behind the clouds.
I think we can call the sun lazy this morning and we beat it to the hill. One good thing is that we will get back to 'Real Time' at the end of this month when all the clocks go back to GMT and we get an extra hour in bed!
Lunch time it was still windy, in fact it was so windy that OTL left his hat in the car and pulled the hood up on his coat to keep the wind out.
The wind was blowing the water around so that there were white horses on the waves.
Wind swept water!
One good thing was looking at all the leaves that had fallen to the ground during the night leaving a carpet of colour on the path to the car!
Yep! Autumn is here, just look at them colours!
I was wondering what it would be like when winter arrives. We have had a very hot summer and do you think it likely the winter will be harsh? OTL has been telling us about the 1987 winter before I was born when there was so much snow our village was snowed in for a whole week, blocking us in for two or three weeks!
Now, I like the snow but three weeks of it, maybe a little too much for even me!
Claws crossed for another wet winter!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy.
