Hi Woofers,
Daisy here.
Well, what a day. I got OTL up good and early this morning so we could get up early and down the sea front for our morning walk.
He was half asleep and, in the end, we got down the sea front no earlier than normal!
The light shining on the hedgerow made it all look misty and I must admit, the sunshine also helped!
We saw the lads in the distance so I decided to go along the top path and see if I could sniff Devo but there was no sign of him anywhere.
This is a new sniff but it is the weekend and there is bound to be another stranger around!
When we came to the meadow, we spotted two woofers and a Two Legs sniffing the grass, it soon became clear that the TL was picking seeds from the plants along the meadow edge while the two woofers kept watch!
I stood in the middle of the path and after spotting me, both woofers headed off down the hill and off home.
Guilty conscience!
Back home OTL decided to leave the pond alone, mainly because there was too much water at the bottom of the pool and after his breakfast the football was going to start.
Well, ok, we lost, we put up a good fight and those girls were not afraid to get stuck in!
The Spanish did a bit of showing off every time our girls shoved them off the ball, a perfectly legal shoulder charge!
It was a lucky goal by the Spanish, again legal but in the end, we lost by one goal.
Last year we lost the semi-final, this year we got to the finals, so, next year we will be looking for the final and the winners medals!
Bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Shame you didn't see Devo but well done for giving them other woofers a guilty conscience even though it was their TL wot was nicking the seeds. Me and my mum had a nice siesta when she got home from work on account of we was both tired so we didn't watch the football, I dunno, why would anyone want to chase a ball around on a hot day, them TL's are bonkers, when it's warm, siest!!!! We've all had a lazy day today so it's been nice an peaceful. I don't blame you and OTL for leaving the pond and the lugging stones, way too warm for that. Me and my mum are looking forward to a nice lay in tomorrow, my boy will be working but at least he can stay in bed until 10 minutes before he has to travel to his office, next door to his bedroom. Now that's the sort of commute I wouldn't mind if I had to go to work. Smashing pictures today. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
