The Tooth Fairy is due soon!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Now, we forgot to tell you that Old Two Legs had an accident yesterday. You know he had a temporary bridge fitted  to his teeth and yesterday he sunk his teeth into a cheese sarnie and felt a 'Crunching' sound and out came half of the bridge! OTL was not happy about that and telephoned the dentist for an appointment which he got for early next week!

So, he ith back to listhping when calling Holly or me! It also stops him whistling 'cos when he blows through his lips there is no whistle!

Poor OTL!

Well wot gloomy weather we are having! I mean, it's not even a good storm or big waves on the beach or even snow or frost.

It's just gloomy skies and a chilly wind!

This morning the ferrets were dragging their paws and kept on getting back in the ferret bag, 'Too Woofin' Cold' says May and Eric together as they fight their way into the bag past the camera!

Mind you, I know what they mean!

We all got back home as quickly as possible and back to a warm bed!

All the ferrets were full of fun as they enjoyed their rampage around the house while their cage was cleaned. (Old Two Legs Favourite job!)

Fred and Wendy had a great time playing with the shopping bags and chasing each other around the lounge. Freddy also managed to pinch The Missus's jumper off the chair and wrap himself in it and roll around the floor!

May and Eric spent most of their time hunting for food in the kitchen and jumping on OTL as he was half in and half out of the cage!

We all enjoyed a snooze after that and let OTL get on with is work!

Lunchtime we were late in getting out but we didn't mind 'cos we were all asleep!

Freddy and Wendy decided they would pass on a lunchtime walk and instead they would have a rampage later on!

That means Holly and I had OTL all to ourselves. So, we sniffed our way down to the beach without having to wait for the ferrets and we even got back to the car in double quick time 'cos we were able to go a 'Woofer Speed' all the way back!

 Holly said that she couldn't remember the last time see was able to get into Woofer Speed!

 OTL had time to look for some 'Artistic' things along the path. He normally is too busy looking after the ferrets and making sure they don't disappear into the brambles!

So, it was great to see him getting all excited about the bush with leaves 'The Colour of Autumn'!

Looks like a load of dead leaves to me!

Back home again it was straight into our 'Snoozing Cushions' in OTL's office for a snooze before Fred and Wendy started rattling on their cage demanding an afternoon rampage! We reckon that the rampage will be about four thirty, so that will be too late for the blog 'cos we publish around four thirty!

So, as that time is showing on the clock, we are off to find somewhere safe to hide while the ferrets create havoc!

Drafty and Two more Rainbows!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another fun day today. We were out a little earlier than normal, mainly 'cos Old Two Legs had been sleeping in a funny position and woke up early with an aching jaw.

No, don't ask, it was confusing enough when he tried to explain to us!

Just for a change, it wasn't raining, too heavily, and we only got damp instead of soaking wet!

The geese were out on the mud enjoying an early breakfast of slimy things and a beak full of mud!

Holly says they are Brent Geese!

 While we were watching the geese and wondering if they tasted like chicken, Eric and May had decided it was just too cold to stay out on the beach and headed off towards the car!

Come on, I'm off, race you to the car!

 OTL was standing on the beach looking over towards Sheerness and saying "Wow!"

We all wondered what he was on about, until he got the camera out and 'Snap'!

Hello Sunshine!

Yeah, OK, so he was lucky with that one but it was still too windy, wet and cold to hang around!

Back home we decided to have a snooze while OTL was poo shovelling when we heard the front door opening.

It was Auntie Chris come to play 'Glue Slapping' with The Missus. We were stuck in the bedroom 'cos the ferrets were on the rampage and May and Eric got the first chance to give Chris a little 'Welcome Nip'!

Well, actually it was just their claws but it felt like a nip!

After Eric and May retired to their cage for a snooze it was Fred and Wendy's turn to chase Auntie Chris around the lounge!

Great fun!

Once all the ferrets were back in bed it was our turn and we had a present of some Doggy Chews waiting for us!

Yum! Yum!

Lunchtime we were out again and this time it was Fred and Wendy who decided that it was warmer, safer and more comfortable in the ferret bag than running on the beach!

Mind you, we did see two rainbows and once again it was Sunshine behind us, rainbow in front of us and rain on top of us, twice!

Still no pot of gold!

 By the time we got back home Auntie Chris had left to go home, she said she just couldn't wait any longer to give Freddy a cuddle but promised to give him extra long cuddle next time!

Not sure what we got for dinner tonight but as we have finished off our chicken we are not starving, yet!

A Wet and Soggy Day!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Today has been one of those  YUK Days!

It was raining when we went out this morning, in fact Old Two Legs left his camera in the car in case it got too wet!

Never mind about us woofers and ferrets, we got wet!

Mind you, it was good that OTL had a doggy towel in the car to dry us off!

Lunchtime it was still the same only the rain wasn't as heavy. 

We saw a rainbow out on the river and Holly said that if we hurry, there would be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

I pointed out that the rainbow had landed in the mud and I couldn't see OTL allowing us to wander off looking for pots of gold in the mud!

There's gold in that there mud!

Now, according to OTL, a rainbow is made by shining a light through a shower of water. Well, there was the sun shining down and over the other side there is a rainbow.

Guess where the shower of water is...................yep! It's pouring down on us!

Fred and Wendy were tucked up in the ferret bag out of the rain!

So, Holly, OTL and I got to taste the rain again!

Back at the car we all got a rub down with the doggy towel, ferrets first then us woofers and by then OTL was just a little wet and soggy from his head to his paws!

According to the forecasters, tomorrow is going to be just as bad!

Poor OTL, he manages to dry us off but if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction he ends up with a soggy bottom!

Now, I've got some pills that could cure that problem!

Well, we heard the rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret  here!

Now, last night, around three thirty, Angus the Storm blew over the top of us! It woke The Missus up and it woke Holly and me as well. Holly says that as she was awake she would get TM to let her out in the garden for a wee.

The kitchen door was opened and Holly stuck her nose out.

The storm nearly blew her nose off!

'Stuff that for a game of Whizz' she said and headed back up to bed!

What with all this going on you would have thought that Old Two Legs might just have woken up!

No, he was snoring his tail off!

By the time he did wake up at six fifteen the storm had past and it was raining out to sea!

Bye Bye Angus!

 Mind you, both May and Eric wanted to get back home, just in case there were some rain clouds waiting over the hill to catch us out!

As we got closer to the car we spotted a ship out to sea with it's head lights on!

Where are we?

Back home we all had a great time rampaging and chasing TM! Holly and I sneaked off to the bedroom and had a snooze on top of OTL's coat while the ferrets terrorised TM!

Lunchtime we were back again but this time with Fred and Wendy.

They were not Happy Ferrets! Both said it was really too cold to mess about on the beach and the grass was too wet and cold for hunting Nargles!

All they wanted to do was to get back in the ferret bag again!

It's so cold I won't need an operation to loose my nuts!

OTL relented and carried them almost all the way back but insisted they walk from the bench on the hill!

As it was all down hill they didn't complain too much!

Chilly Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

You can tell that winter is on it's way, we had thick frost on the car this morning and there was frost all over the grass as well!

Not only that, did you know that we have the first 'Storm Warning' of the year, they have called it 'Angus'!

It is supposed to be at it's worse this night or the early hours of the morning, so I reckon Holly will need to have a wee before we go to bed tonight!

Back down on the beach Holly and I were playing 'Dig and Whizz', what we didn't know was that Miss May and Eric were planning a 'Take Over' of out hole!

OK, lets get them now!

They both came charging over  and kicked us out!

I tried appealing to Old Two Legs but he said I was being a wimp and should not be a bad looser!

..........but Daddy, they have stolen it from us!

Then came the biggest insult of all.............they pinched my ball as well and hid it in the hole!

It's our ball now!

We were lucky that OTL was close 'cos he !
picked up the ball and put it back into the poo bag he keeps the ball!

That sorted them out!

Back home the ferrets enjoyed a rampage around the house  while OTL was 'Poo Shovelling' in the ferret cages!

One of his favourite jobs!

Lunchtime came and we were down there again and the tide was still out, so no swimming!

Holly and I resumed our 'Digg and Whizz' game.

My turn to Whizz!

Fred and Wendy played the game of 'Get back in the Bag'!

They said it was too cold to hang about on the beach.

They had fun exploring the cut grass and chasing Nargles!

Quick! Another Nargle over there!

Holly and I didn't see any Nargles and decided to let the ferrets get on with it!

Freddy said that he saw a Nargle creeping up on Holly and offered to chase it away.

I think that really Freddy just wanted to make Holly jump!

Naughty Freddy!

I'll save you Holly Dog!

  Holly didn't think there was any Nargles around and offered to bite Freddy's tail!

Sunday tomorrow and with that storm called Angus we will be staying tucked up under the duvet!

Friday and the sun is shining!

Yo! Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

We love Friday 'cos OTL manages to finish early and we get a longer walk at lunchtime!

We were up late this morning and that was Holly Dog's fault! She had to wake Old Two Legs up at three this morning 'cos she wanted a wee! So, there we were at three having a woof and a wee around the garden.

We managed to wake up three woofers who answered our 'Challenge Call' and we managed to get back indoors before they all finished woofing their tails off!

OTL said we were 'Naughty Puppies' for waking everyone up!

Because of our game we over slept by about three quarters of an hour which didn't please young Eric. He was up and rattling the cage bars and calling out that he wanted to get out for some breakfast!

Down on the beach the sun was up and flying through the sky while us woofers were flying up and down the beach!

OTL got the rubber ball out and I had a game of 'Chase' with him. Wot I couldn't work out was why the ball would roll down the beach and stop just before the mud! OTL said it was all to do with gravity and slopping beach.

Sounds all very technical to me!

OK, Sit! and Stay!

The tide was out so I didn't get a chance of a swim but to be honest, I think it may be just a tad too cold for swimming!

Blue skies but still cold!

Back home we found that The Missus had gone out to see her mates so OTL had the whole house in which he and the ferrets were playing 'Chase'!

Miss Wendy had a great time and kept on jumping out at OTL when he was looking under the sofa!

Eric thought it was great fun to try and run up OTL's trouser leg and pull his socks down!

OTL rolls Eric onto his back and tickles his tail which makes Eric laugh or Dook which is a good sign that Eric was enjoying himself!

Lunchtime the tide was in but it was still too cold to go in swimming and even Freddy stayed away from the waves!

No getting wet today!

Freddy even tried to get Holly to give him a carry up the beach but Holly said he had as many paws as her and he should use them!

Ooo! She can be so strict some times!

Go on, gissa lift?

Looking at the sky you could see that the days are getting shorter and Miss Wendy said that there was a sniff of rain on the wind!

OK, no swimming but can I have a dig?

The Tesco man came an hour early so we were able to inspect all the stuff as it came through the door.

Holly pointed out that there was Lambs Heart but no Rawhide Chews!

We also saw some Chicken legs and that means we get a good feed, but not today!

What did we get?

A couple of packs of 'Sample Pack' of meat in jelly marked 'For Seniors'.............Seniors?

Just how old does TM think we are? Mind you, it wasn't too bad and we managed to get through most of it!

However, that won't stop us from doing some mugging tonight!

TM is out tomorrow with her Master Class so we are set for some more games with OTL!

OTL is in Trouble, again!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, last night Old Two Legs was snivelling about his sore tooth so The Missus came up with the idea of a Chinese Meal for OTL. Only it wasn't from the local Take-a-Way, it was from the freezer!

Ten minutes in the microwave and there was a pile of stuff calling itself Beef Chow Main with Egg Flied Rice!

OTL didn't think much of it and us Woofers thought even less!

No Plawn Clackers! No King Plawns or even Plawn Balls!

Poor OTL!

Poor us as well!

We were up a little late this morning and the sun was out of bed by the time we got down to the beach.

Late Again!

As we headed for the beach we bumped into a Female Two Legs clicking away with her camera. Now, she had taken a couple of pictures of OTL and Miss May the other day and she was back again looking for more pictures.

She took a couple of May and Eric when they were cuddled up in OTL's arms then took a couple of OTL's feet!

OTL was a little puzzled about that and asked what it was all for?

Seems that she is doing a degree in photography and has decided to submit a series of pictures of Two Legs Feet!

That's the trouble with these university students, they get some weird ideas sometimes!

Now what was worse, she didn't take any pictures of us woofers! I mean, Holly and I do a great pose but she was more interested in the ferrets and a bench!

No, don't ask!

Photographing a bench! Just what is she on?

Eric thought she was wonderful and he said that he was sure his photo came out the best!

A Camouflaged Ferret!

Down on the beach I was doing a demonstration of Camouflaging the rubber ball in the sand, just dig a hole and kick it in!

When I'm finished no one will see it!

This afternoon TM and OTL had to go out so it was a quick run for Fred and Wendy which was OK by them 'cos they wanted to catch up on their sleep!

When OTL got back he sat in the office trying to get some results by rubbing Freddy with a silk scarf.

He found the scarf in TM's clothes drawer together with some nylon socks.

The socks only made Freddy's hair stand up but the silk scarf had a little effect. It wasn't all shiny and glittery but it did have a sheen on it.

Then, using a small clothes brush OTL tried brushing Freddy's feet to clean them of any sawdust and stuff.

Now, 'What is all this for?' you may ask?

Well, the Ferret Show is next weekend and OTL has been trying ways of making the ferrets look their best.

Unfortunately TM didn't see it OTL's way and got all upset just 'cos he 'borrowed' her scarf!

I mean, it has been in the drawer for about ten years, unused, so we might as well put it to good use!

It's not as if OTL was using it to wipe Holly's butt when she gets a 'Grumbly Tum'!

I mean, if she keeps on OTL has said that he will 'Borrow' TM's knee length nylon knickers instead and then the ferrets will look like big balls of fur and will stick to the ceiling!

Now that would be fun!

Freddy gets wet, again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Now, you know that Old Two Legs visited the dentist yesterday? Well, last night all he would eat was some strong pain killers!

That means Holly and I missed out on some muggins!

Boo! Hiss!

This morning he was still complaining that he had tooth ache but as Holly pointed out, he had his tooth taken out, so how can it ache?

After a couple of pills he settled down to a bowl of 'Rabbit Food' a glass of Orange Juice and a mug of tea!

Needless to say, Eric robbed OTL of some of his breakfast but in the end he had to go back to his Lactose Free milk, Eric, not OTL!

Miss May found the packet of Malt filled Nibbles and made a pig of herself!

Mmmm! These are tasty and Crunchy as well!

Once the pills had 'Kicked In' OTL took us down to the beach for a little rampage along the beach.

I chased a rook off the rocks and ended up with muddy paws!

Up on the grass we lost both ferrets but Holly noticed that the grass was moving!

Yep! It was May and Eric doing a 'Ferret'!

It moved! I tell you, it moved!

Back home OTL got going on the cage cleaning while Eric and May played 'Chase' all over the place. May got tired and hid in the draw in the office while Eric went off chasing The Missus and OTL around the lounge!

Eric is getting used to OTL and has a little chuckle when OTL turns him over on his back and tickles his tummy!

Now, because the moon was so close to the earth, that means the tide was going to be high today and at lunchtime we headed off down to the beach.

A Real High Tide!

 Freddy got all excited when he saw the waves lapping the beach and ran down to the waters edge saying that he was too fast for the waves!

See, it can't catch me!

 Then the next wave came racing up the beach while Freddy was chuckling about being faster than the waves!

Yorricks! That was a close one!

Freddy got wet from his tail to his front paws!

Freddy was not a Happy Ferret!

OTL had to pick him up and let him climb in the ferret bag to dry off!

Of course, once he was in, he didn't want to get out!

No, Don't Care, I'm staying here!

We dropped the ferrets off home and OTL went off to do some deliveries and after that, we called into the Doggy Shop!

Holly and I were beside ourselves, in we went and woofed all the way to the Chicken Fillet section!

OTL got some Chicken strips and disinfectant to spray in the ferret cages or on the carpet if a ferret has an 'Accident'!

You will be pleased to hear that OTL has been keeping on with the pain killers and has even managed a couple of biscuits, dipped into his tea!

We are not sure if he will be eating anything this evening 'cos he says the ache is still there but at least it has stopped bleeding and the antiseptic mouthwash is doing it's work!

OTL says that tomorrow we have rain foretasted so we will be looking at the Rain Radar first thing tomorrow!

OTL gets his whistle back!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, today is the day that Old Two Legs goes off to get hurt and robbed!

We got out this morning with May and Eric who had a fun time on the beach. There was a warmish wind blowing so there was no complaining about the cold!

OTL had told us all about the moon being close to earth and it would be bigger and brighter than it has been since 1948!

Wow! Says Eric, dead impressed he was!

Down on the beach we saw the sun over Sheerness.

The sun coming up from the East!

 Then we turned around to where the Moon was dipping down to the West.

Bigger, Brighter and Closer, the cloud anyway!

 May said she was disappointed not to have seen the moon but there is always tomorrow morning, providing he clouds have gone!

May decided that she would have a dig and a roll on the sand before OTL tells her to stop!

Oooooo! This is a good sniff!

 Then OTL got the rubber ball out and kicked it up the beach, I watched it roll down towards the mud and decided that if he wants it he can get it himself!

Miss May spotted the ball and went tearing along the beach to capture the ball before it landed in the mud!

Then she ran up towards the rocks and hid it behind a big rock!

Got it!

OTL was watching and after she had moved on, he picked it up and wrapped it in a Poo Bag and placed it back in the ferret bag!

Back home there was some poo to shovel before going off to see the dentist!

We left him looking for his cheque book 'cos he says it would not be a good idea to take cash!

Mid afternoon OTL came back with a sore bank balance and a sore mouth 'cos they took out the roots of his front tooth and fitted a temporary bridge.

Now OTL is a great one for thinking ahead and he stopped off at the chemist on the way home for some antiseptic mouth wash and a box of strong pain killers!

I can see that we won't be getting any muggins tonight but with a bit of luck there will be some tomorrow!

There is an up side to this dental stuff, now that OTL has a temporary bridge he has got his whistle back!

Not that we take much notice but at least we will know where he is and he won't get lost!

We will give him a cuddle tonight and with a bit of luck his sore mouth will be better!

So many questions!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's been a funny day today, sort of nothing really happening but still loads of questions that need answering!

It started this morning when we were out with May and Eric. Eric wants to know just everything about everything and has got into the 'Why?' question!

You know, 'What is this sniff? I think it is weasel wee, Why? 'Cos it sniffs like weasel wee, Why? Cos I've sniffed weasels wee before and it is just like this sniff, Why? Cos all weasel wee sniffs like that, Why? Cos all Weasels sniff the same, Why? .......................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then he decides that he is the best hunter on the beach and hides under a pile of grass and invites us to find him!

Betcha Can't See Me!

Holly got fed up with answering all his questions and sat down while Eric carried on 'Ferreting About'!

One small problem.

I think I've sat on a Thistle!

Even though the Thistle was itching her butt, Holly decided to stay where she was and get Old Two Legs to extract it when we got back to the car!

Back home Eric decided to 'Help' OTL to clear the cages of last nights poo pile and tried to empty the bowl of water into the cage!

OTL was not a Happy Puppy and in the end shut Eric out of the office until the cleaning was all done!

That didn't stop him scratching on the door and asking 'Why have you locked me out? Why? Just tell me, Why?'

For some reason OTL turned up the volume on the TV!

Lunchtime arrived and we were off again for a walk. Holly had eaten her Lambs Heart and had been given a treat. When OTL called her to get her harness on, she was panicking in case I snaffled it and she nearly missed out on a walk!

In the end she gave it to The Missus who put it on the shelf, just out of my reach!

Down on the beach Fred and Wendy said that it was just too damp and windy to enjoy a rampage and they both agreed that it would be more comfortable tucked up in the ferret bag, all warm and snug like!

Tell me again, this supposed to be fun?

Holly tried to cheer them up by starting a hole and then offering it to them to finish off!

Go on, finish it off!

Freddy was having none of it and refused to move until OTL picked him up and deposited him on the rocks!

Wendy had a quick sniff and decided it was warmer trotting along the Sea Wall to keep warm!

Is doing a Poo obligatory?

 Back home we all snuggled down on our sleeping cushions and enjoyed a warm snooze while OTL did all his paper shuffling.

Tomorrow OTL is off to the dentist to have some tooth roots extracted, sounds rather painful to us, still it can't be as painful as will be extracting OTL's wallet to pay for it!
