Woofin' Holly!

Hi There Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

We have some good news; Holly is woofing her tail off to go out for a wee and a poo. Since her operation she has been a little off, you know, not taking too much interest in what’s going on and even leaving food in her bowl for me to snaffle!

Well, today she has been showing me how the plastic collar can be used to whack Old Two Legs shins when she wants something. She also used it on me on the race to get a chew we spotted on the kitchen floor.

Holly is getting better!

Mind you, she has got to keep that collar on until next Monday when she goes to the vet to have the stitches removed.

It is still cold out there and the wind doesn’t help either!

One good thing though, for the second time this year the Brown jar has been pumping water into the pond! The Missus says that when she comes down in the morning and looks at the pond there is a lot of ‘activities’ coming from the pond, possibly froggy types or water snails rampaging around the pond!

With the temperature being what it is at the moment, they can keep the pond water, I’d rather stay in bed!

The sun has been out most of the morning and Holly decided she wanted to go out early for the lunchtime walk earlier than normal, so, that means we will need an extra walk and of course, OTL wants to do something on the computer while Holly and I just want a wee!

We didn’t hang about cos the clouds had come back and the wind was still cold!

Still it made a break and let's face it, today has been a 'Three Walk Day'!

For OTL it means an extra poo bag as well!

Result!

Mind you, I'll be glad when Holly gets her collar off 'cos that means we can get back down to the beach again and a decent run in the sand!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Poor Holly.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

You know, I would have thought that Holly would be better by now, I mean, she should be stuffing her chops and woofing at the world but every time we look at her she is looking at us from under the plastic collar and you can see in her eyes that she is just 'Not Happy'!

I reckon she is just fed up with the collar but we will be keeping our eyes on her!

You know, it is still windy, we went out this morning and Old Two Legs even had to put his hood up!

What a Wimp!

Holly and I had a good woof at the Tesco man but decided not to attack him 'cos he is bringing grub for OTL and The Missus and of course, we have first taste when it is served!

OTL has been busy sending and receiving emails all today, seems like he has customers who think they know all about radio and antennae, but they don’t and it's a job to convince them that they don't know and should listen to OTL!

He has to do all that and not making it sound like he is being a bossy know it all!

OTL says he is going to have some fun tomorrow. The Dash Cam has arrived and is working as it should. So, OTL plans to install it in the big car tomorrow. He has also ordered up another set of power leads and a mounting bracket so he install it in the small car. Now OTL hasn't had an accident for loads of years and it was never his own fault, (show off!) but he says that with today’s traffic whizzing about it is always handy to have a third opinion!

As if anyone would disagree with OTL!

I'll be glad when this wind and rain stops, I reckon that December was warmer than the last two months, well at least drier!

OTL says he must get his camera gear all sorted and checked 'cos he is off next weekend with cousin Alun and then away the next week with cousin Alun, I reckon they are going to have a fun week and of course, there is the distillery!

In fact one of his most favourite distillery!

Holly and I reckon we should go with them but then who would look after TM and woof off all the neighbours?

Let's hope Holly feels better soon.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Holly see's the vet!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Well, after Holly's whining on Saturday night and Old Two Legs removing the bandaging from her paw, just in case it was too tight, last night was peaceful, loads of snoozing and snoring and that was just The Missus!

Holly was OK!

We are still being walked around the football field behind our house and to be honest, it's boring!

I'll be glad when Holly Chops is given permission to be off the lead and running about down the sea side!

It's a shame that Archie Babe is going to groomers, it's too cold and windy to get a haircut, even Old Two Legs has put off our butt shave until the end of the next month!

Just after our lunchtime wander around the football field, OTL gathered up Holly and took her to the vet!

"Well", says the vet, looking at Holly's paw. "I see you have chewed the bandage off!" Holly looked down at her paw.

OK, but it was a smallish bandage and it didn't taste very nice, honest!

"Umm" says the vet, "the paw looks clean and I see that OTL has been keeping it washed as well"

"OK, you can go but I want to see you in seven days and we will try to take the stitches out!"

Holly reckons that sounds painful and if it hurts, she will show the vet a clean set of teeth!

I don't know about you but it seems that the wind has been blowing for ages and the rain hasn't stopped either!

Still, we are all tucked up in our blankets and are nice and warm, so, it can blow all it likes!

I will be glad when we can go down the beach again but it looks like it will be at least seven days!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Hop Along Holly!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Sorry about yesterday but we have been having some fun with Holly Chops! She has not been a good little puppy and we think she has pulled some of her stitches. We had a peaceful night, no whining like the night before but this morning when Holly went down stairs she had a limp.

Old Two Legs decided to remove the dressing and found nothing that would cause alarm, you know, legs falling off or buckets of blood, you know, stuff like that!

Through the day she has been out for a walk, on the lead, and gets the paw washed when she comes back and has pinched my teeth cleaning chew, so she can't be too bad!

OTL has kept the horrid collar on her, just to stop her licking the stitches. She is not too happy about that but puts up with it!

We are going back to the vet tomorrow afternoon for a check-up and maybe a fresh dressing but I don't suppose Holly will be happy with another dressing!

We are hoping that without the bandage the operation wound will dry and stop worrying her!

Providing she doesn't jump around and hurts herself!

See you tomorrow with the results from the vet!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
