Saturday is here and so is the rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!


The weekend has started off with a splish! It was a little windy this morning and when we managed to get a second walk around ten thirty, Old Two Legs was looking away to the distance and muttering that it looked wet and soggy in the sky!


Not that we worried, we weren't far from home and a quick dash down the alley way and we could be home!


Come lunchtime all changed, in the distance we could see Southend on Sea, all lit up by the sun and sniffing of Kebabs!

Over there it's all Kebabs, Fish and Chips!

 Turning around, what did we see over Sheerness? That's it, rain!

Sort of wet looking!

 OTL didn't let me go in for a swim or a paddle, he kept me on a 'Short Leash' by reminding me that I was to stay close, keep out of the sniffs!

Still, I had another look over my shoulder and decided that Southend was really the place to be this afternoon!

I can almost see the Kebab Shop!

Once over the hill we stopped for a rest on the bench, well, OTL had a rest while Holly and I looked around for a sniff to get in trouble over but to be honest, they were all old sniffs and practically 'Rolled Out'!

From my lofty perch on top of the bench I could see the dark clouds heading our way so it was 'Back on the road' and off to the car so we can get back home before the rain!

Come on Holly, were off!

 You know, we only just made it back in time, as we got out of the car I could feel the rain drops landing on my nose!

Up to bed for a snooze before dinner time!

Sniffs to roll in, water to paddle in and OTL to run circles around!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know, I just love these warm days, OK, I know it gets a bit exhausting chasing rabbits that turn into shadows as you get closer but there are other things that make up for it!

Like, some super sniffs that are calling Holly and I to have a big roll!

Much to Old Two Legs disgust!

Roll On, just look at those sniffs!

Now wot OTL doesn't think about is that you can wash the sniff off if it's too squashy!

Now this is good and I'm clean again, sort of!

 Holly didn't go swimming but she did wander up and down the beach looking for food and even let the Two Legs give her a stroke! Well they just didn't see the sniff that was still sticking to her back until afterwards!

 That thingy is still parked up at Sheerness having a service.

Don't forget, change the oil and fit a new anchor!

When we got home, Holly went into panic mode 'cos she couldn't remember where she had left her carrot!

What she didn't know was I had pinched it and hid it under OTL's pillow!

I'll finish it off tonight!

Can we do that again?

Yesterday they promised a drop of rain but we didn't see it here, just sunshine.

Perfect!

Well, it's better than horizontal rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

First thing this morning there were clouds in the sky and a gentle breeze but when we got the urge to go out for a second run it was getting warm and sticky!

Well, when a woofer gets all hot and sticky there is only one thing you can do!

Now this is what I call cooooool!

 It's amazing just how good you can feel after a quick paddle in the sea and to finish it off, stick your head under the water!

Wrrrrrrrrrrgh!

 After that there is only one thing you can do.

Take yourself for a long run on a short beach!

 Mind you, Holly Chops stayed up on the sea wall and kept well away from the water!

 I just kept going on the beach until I got the 'Whistle Call' to follow Old Two Legs up the hill.

I'll run up the beach and then back again when he calls!

The weather man says there might be rain tomorrow but I reckon the plants need a good soaking!

This afternoon OTL left us on our own as he had to return some equipment he borrowed and you know what? He even took the big car, just for a run and top up the battery!
