Wet Today, Snow Tomorrow?

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, the rain held off for most of the day today but there was a load of water left and the fields were wet and seriously soggy!

I must say that we were happy to have our walk cut short but we still ended up with wet tummies!

Lunchtime was much better; we asked the ferrets if they wanted to come with us but we had no success in waking them up!

No thanks, I'm warm and snuggly thank you!

So, no joy there then! Today we went down to Grain in the car. We used the car 'cos Old Two Legs got another message from the car that the battery was low!

They got the emergency crew out to pump out the telephone exchange!

Everywhere the fields were flooded and ditches full to the tops!

The roads were flooded as well, mind you, OTL likes driving through puddles!

Once we were down of the sea front we met up with a few mates and enjoyed a group sniff and a woof at a jogger pounding along the sea wall.

Another thing we saw was the last of a tree that was rather interesting and it had been coppiced in the past, but now, it was gone!

It was there but now it's gone!

Driving back, we stopped by this field that was almost covered in rain water. I reckon you could get a rowing boat out and have a paddle around!

If you don't want a rowing boat, what about a swim?

Driving back, we were listening to the radio and the weather forecast sounded terrible,

SNOW TOMORROW!

That sounds terrible, frozen icy road surface covered with snow!

I think we will be staying away from the roads this weekend!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Very Very Wet!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again.

Now, if you thought it was wet yesterday, well today it has been doubly wet!

The path to the football field was flooded and normally there are no puddles there!

When we got to the field it was very very quaggy, every time you took a step it was possible that you would slip over!

Entrance to the golf course was flooded from the field right into the football field!

On top of that it was raining, like pouring down so much that Old Two Legs double lined trousers were soaked through!

His hat was soaked as well!

Such was the rain that we left off our lunchtime walk until four thirty when the rain slowed down a little, but we still all got wet and muddy and OTL got told off for bringing us home with mud on our paws!

I mean, where else can we have a poo!

Tomorrow it should get colder and there is the chance of snow soon, brrrrh!

I must learn how to use that white bucket thing they have in the shower room, at least I won't get muddy on my paws!

See you tomorrow.

Luv

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Wet Again!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, what can I say, it rained today, and then after that, it rained again!

Roll on March the first, I reckon by then we shall be seeing some good weather, well, possibly not as much rain!

Walking across the football field we were slipping and sliding across the muddy bits and sinking into the soggy bits!

Our Sheepskin coats got soaked and out red jacket type harness got soaked as well!

One good thing, Old Two Legs was able to splash about in the puddle to clean the mud off his wellies, trouble is, that puddle is getting a thick layer of mud at the bottom!

Let’s hope things will get better tomorrow.

Bye for now,

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
