How is Archie Babe?

 Hello Woofers,

It's Daisy Dog here!

Well now, what's this about poor Archie? Chasing around, trying to bite a squirrel's bum?

End up limping? Having to visit the vet? Getting bags of treats?

Now come on, we can all pull a flanker from time to time but half inch a bag of nibbles as well as a cuddle?

Hope you get better soon!

Being Saturday Old Two Legs had some jobs lined up which will mean he is going to get all tired and worn out!

It starts off with the morning walk.

The sun was well up and shining all over the place, mind you the sea was flat calm.

I just couldn't resist, I waited until OTL was picking up a poo I had just planted, then, seeing he was on his knees, I ran down the hill, onto the sea front and straight into the mud!

I could hear OTL grumbling away about messing up the car seats so I just dangled my paws in the mud and water!

I mean, he had only just had the car cleaned!

A bit further up the sea wall the pack of Two Legs were looking out to see and pointing. There, out in the distance was a woofer charging up and down the mud flats, having a great time!

There were a few of us sensible woofers sitting on the sea wall cheering him on!

One woofer, Cody, was really more interested in chasing a canvas pack that was pretending to be a rabbit or something.

Cody was given the command of 'Dead’, which means ‘Drop it' which he did. The TL picked it up but didn't throw it 'cos he was more interested in the woofer on the mud flats!

Cody was not a happy puppy.

Now Cody can be a bit possessive regarding his lure, so he sat down, looked up to his TL and said......'DEAD!'

It didn't work.

I said ....'DEAD!'

You know, it's the same with all the TL's, they just don't listen but they expect us to jump to attention!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog!

Looks like the Brant Geese are early this year!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy here again.

Well, it looks like we are going to have a game each morning!

We turned up a little late this morning and Old Two Legs was wanting to get back home to get the final bits of paper sorted.

I did my normal 'I just fancy sitting here trick. OTL walked on ahead and then took a sharp turn to the right, out of sight. I got up and chased after him but when I got around the corner he was gone!

I chased on a bit further but he was nowhere to be seen. It was then that he came creeping up behind me, sneaky Two Legs had gone back on himself and hid in the bushes!

I can see I will be watching out for sneaky tricks in the future!

It was pretty boring this morning, the sun was blasting down trying to burn everything but with a little 'Fiddly Diddly' with the camera controls, OTL managed a couple of 'Morning' shots!

Now this one is interesting 'cos the birds are in fact Brant Geese enjoying breakfast.

It's what you can't see that is more interesting!

It's behind you!

Right at the last moment it arrived!

A Goose chasing Woofer who will be in trouble when he gets back to the sea wall!

I was thinking about joining him but the geese flew away just after this shot and I would have just been splashing about in the puddles!

The weekends here and OTL is planning to do some hedge trimming so let's hope it doesn't rain over the weekend!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

Autumn is a coming!

Hello Woofers.

Daisy here!

Well, for the third day it has been rather windy down on the sea front. Today however, I've been playing games with Old Two Legs.

You see, this morning I got out of the car, headed across the football field, had a wee and a poo, then I spotted the pack coming across the field.

Well, what's a woofer to do?

I sat down and looked across the field and ignored OTL calling me!

I was still there as they passed me, having a run around chasing a ball.

Daisy Dog was still sitting on her tail when from the other way, along came two woofers who were chasing a ball. They looked like they could cause trouble so I went off to hide in the bushes.

OTL called again and this time I decided to follow him!

It was still dull out to sea but I stayed with OTL, just in case the woofers came back!

Heading down towards the car I saw Murphy ahead of us, just strolling along. Now that woofer is one mighty dog. You know he is so big I reckon OTL could put a saddle on him and ride him home!

That's one mighty woofer!

It was the same wind at lunchtime and OTL had to walk around with his hood up over his head, mind you, I stayed close to OTL, just in case Murphy came back!

Well, it looks safe now!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.
