No Fog Horns Today!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Old Two Legs has discovered a medical break through regarding his 'Problem'!

Now, every so often OTL gets what he calls Ocular Migraine, which makes him see a kaleidoscope of funny shapes in the form of a circle in his eye. Normally a couple of Paracetamol tablets puts him right and the Migraine goes away after a while.

Now he hasn't had one of these attacks ever since he had his cataracts sorted out last year.

Today, while he was clearing May and Eric's cage out, May decided to 'Raid' Fred and Wendy's cage and start a punch up through the bars of the cage with Miss Wendy.

So, there was Wendy on the top shelf in the cage with the bars above her and a ferret bag on top of that with Miss May on top of it all scratching at the bag so she can get nearer to Wendy for a Punch Up!

OTL gets up from his chair and goes to tell May off for starting a fight when Wendy, backs up to the cage wall, just where OTL's nose is level with the cage, lifts her tail and lets off a gigantic 'Ferret Fear Fart', straight towards OTL's nose.............POW!

Poor OTL staggers back shaking his head and blinking his eyes!

Piggin Ell! Quotes OTL, or something very similar!

Ooops! Says Wendy, sorry about that!

Strewth! Says May sitting down on her tail and going cross eyed!

It was then that OTL noticed that his Ocular Migraine was fading fast and he could see!

Now, all we got to do is work out how to bottle 'Wendy's Windy Pops' and we'll make a fortune!

Talking of Wendy, when OTL goes hunting for the ferrets to put them to bed he keeps finding socks tucked under the furniture. We have all been watching each other to find out who it is but so far the culprit has been very sneaky!

There are no other pictures today 'cos it has been very foggy down here. It has been so foggy that the Sheerness Fog Horn didn't even bother to sound off.

Maybe he has heard about Wendy's Windy Pops!

Tomorrow we should get rid of the fog, with luck and OTL can play with his camera!

It's been a 'Late' Day' today!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Sorry we are late in blogging today, but blame it on Old Two Legs and The Missus!

We were all late in getting up today, TM didn't start banging pots and pans about until just after five thirty when she normally starts at ten to five!

Well, that means we didn't wake OTL up by licking his ear until six fifteen!

Mind you, we still got out before the sun got up!

Just out of the village OTL stopped by the side of the road to take this picture.

All sort of misty and ethereal!

 We got down to the beach before the sun got up and we were able to watch Mr Sun creep up over Sheerness!
 

Good Morning Mr Sun!

Holly was looking down the Sea Wall 'cos she reckons she can hear woofing in the far distance and she reckons it is Bert chasing after the rabbits again!

Who is that woofing?

 It's strange how as the sun climbs up into the sky, OTL's camera makes the sky and sea much darker than it really was, still, it looks OK now we can see it on the screen!

Red Sky in the Morning, a Ferrets Warning!

 Just before lunch TM and OTL headed off to do some serious shopping, well, TM was and OTL had to carry it all back to the car!

That caused us to be late going out for our midday walk! By then the sun was sinking into the west and doing a sunrise in reverse!

Yellow sky at night means the Ferret's Just Right!

Mind you, both Fred and Wendy were dragging their tails a bit, that was because of the sniffs!

That grass that had been cut is still on the ground and contains a large amount of Weasel Wee, according to Freddy!

Just like us woofers, they have to investigate every sniff!

Oooo! This is a good sniff!

Of course, that means Holly and I have to wait for them, as Holly says, 'This can be a bit Boring'!

It is amazing just how much Weasel Wee can be found in this grass!

OTL has come back with a new remote storage unit that is twice as big as his existing one.

Twice as big in memory, not physical size!

So, now all he has to do is install it!

That means he has to read the instructions!

This will be fun!

Lazy Day Today!

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Sunday is a quiet day here in this household!

Old Two Legs has been playing with the email accounts trying to get them to talk to each other and get 'Washed' before they arrives at the computer proper. It is supposed to help prevent all those nasty things that mess your computer up and steal your passwords and stuff!

Holly and I have been keeping him company, well we have been snoozing at his feet!

 Holly was next to the ferret cage that holds Fred and Wendy and Holly keeps getting woken up when the come down for a wee!

My bed is under the desk and it is out of the way of ferrets and drafts!

A Very Comfortable Daisy Dog!

 Mind you, that was only after our walk on the beach this morning. he sun was creeping over Sheerness but OTL spotted a brave Wormy Man out on the mud digging for worms!

We'll do our digging on the beach thanks!

 May and Eric said it was rather cold in the wind and kept trying to get into the ferret bag! OTL relented a few times 'cos he was getting cold waiting for Eric to finish off his sniffing for Weasel Wee!

Once back home and after the cage cleaning OTL got out the 'Holiday Cage' that has recently arrived. It's a couple of collapsible plastic material things that you could use to contain a mini two legs or a couple of small woofers.

No! Don't get any ideas!

May and Eric had a play in it and decided that it needs some toys and a bed in it before they will use it again!

OTL had some extra play time with Fred and Wendy to make up for yesterday and he managed to wear them out! Freddy was going potty in the bathroom whizzing around on his back while OTL tickled his tummy!

Wendy was having a great time hiding nibbles of food around the house but Freddy was following behind her and eating the stash!

After our morning snooze we headed out for our lunchtime walk.

So, there we were, Holly and I, Wendy and Freddy de Ferret heading down to the beach for a dig in the sand and what did we see?

What the Woofing Heck!

There were loads of fishermen all dressed up in warm clothes and standing next to their fishing rods that were loaded with lead lumps and skewered worms!

It seemed like we had got a contest today!

Mind you, we have had this thing before and no one ever catches anything, except a cold!

We were going onto the beach but OTL said that there would be loads of hooks and lead weights flying about and that it would be too dangerous!

Another five minutes until the start!

There was one who couldn't wait and he ran down to the waters edge to throw his lead weight in the water before anyone else!

Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!

 We didn't hang about 'cos the wind was getting up and both Fred and Wendy wanted to get back to the car!

Back home we got a chew each, Holly and me that is, and we headed off to our snoozing spots!

Not sure what is for dinner tonight but we will be offering to help OTL 'cos his temporary bridge has fallen out again!

Holly reckons that he should just leave it as it is and let him remain ugly every time he smiles!

Back Again!

Hi Ho Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

No we hadn't forgotten to post yesterday, it was the computers fault. It sort of rolled over on it's back and did a 'Freddy', you know, Oooooo! Something has broken and I need a cuddle!

The 'cuddle' cost Old Two Legs a few coins, big coins and some long telephone calls!

Then after that was done we found we couldn't get on the Internetty Thingy 'cos the computer wouldn't talk to the server, or rather the server wouldn't talk to the computer!

OTL has spent most of today on the telephone to the man who runs the server and it turned out that 'cos OTL had tried so many times to log in, unsuccessfully, the controlling program blocked him from getting in, even though he had the right password!

Once we had been 'Unblocked' it all started to come back together again!

Here we are again, typing away as fast as we can before it breaks down again and OTL gets even more upset!

Because he can't pass the computer without fiddling, we were late getting down the beach, the sun was up and climbing into the sky!

Sorry we're late Mr Sun!

 Miss May found some weasel wee and had a roll under the old Sea Kale bush!

This is Heaven!

 What was so funny was Miss May trying to blag a lift after rolling in Weasel Wee!

Honest, it wasn't Weasel Wee really!

Back home OTL cleaned the cages out and set about fiddling with the computer again.

First May and Eric had a rampage around the house then it was Wendy and Fred's turn.

Now Freddy just loves having a run around then a game with OTL and a game of 'Tickle on the Tum' but today OTL was more interested in the computer and he didn't spend as much time with Fred and Wendy.

When it was time for them to go back in the cage again, OTL hunted high and low looking for them only to find them both in their beds snoozing their whiskers off!

OTL said he felt guilty and promised to spend more time with them tomorrow!

Lunchtime we were down on the beach but it was cold and windy. Fred and Wendy were insisting on getting back in the ferret bag to keep out of the cold!

When does Spring arrive in this part of the world?

I found a super sniff that I told OTL was Weasel Wee like wot May was rolling in!

Honest OTL, it's Weasel Wee, honest!

 OTL said that it wasn't 'cos it was back down the beach and he told me to get up and stop messing about!

As we were going up the grass path we spotted young Barney II doing a funny walk, he kept waving his back leg in the air!

If he keeps doing that his leg will fall off!

 He made it to OTL who found a length of bramble bush stuck in his tail and wrapped around his leg!

It wasn't too long before OTL got it all untangled and Barney was off looking for more sniffs!

Who is a clever OTL then!

Not sure what is planned for tomorrow but we will be reminding OTL of the extra games he has to play with Freddy!

Another Chilly Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Ooooh! It has been a terrible day for Old Two Legs, his computer system is playing up and we have learnt some new words for computers!

We were out early to see the sunrise and if you look carefully you might just see me!

If you sort of squint and wriggle your nose you might just see my tail!

 The sun crept up and by the time we got to the beach I could see where I was going!

Half way through a 'Dig and Whizz'!

 As soon as we got back home and the ferret cages were cleaned, OTL disappeared into the distance clutching a box under his arm and mumbling all manner of curses!

He managed to get back by lunchtime but he didn't have the box with him, Holly reckons he has buried it in the river!

Funny thing though, he didn't say much when we went out for our lunch time walk!

I hope he doesn't bury us!

We had some fun with the ferrets, you see they keep telling us just how sneaky they are and how they can creep up on us.

Well, Holly challenged them to sneak up on her while she was watching the birds fly past!

She pretended not to see them until they were very close and then jumped up and looked all surprised and shocked!

I see Nuffin!

Then, just at the last moment she would jump up in the air woofing 'Ooooooh! A Ferret!'

We all thought it was a good game!

Talking about good games, wot is this about a new battery for Archie Babes car? OTL says that they normally get replaced every two or three years but he left his for eight years and when it did stop working he had to get the engineers out to try to mend loads of things that suddenly lit up faults but none of them said it was a battery!

Cost him a fortune it did!

OTL now reckons the server is down 'cos he can't get into his web site, so we can expect him to be grumbling for the rest of the night now!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Cold or Wot?

We headed off towards the beach but Old Two Legs just had to stop and take a picture of the Isle of Grain from Allhallows!

........................and this is before the sun gets up!

 Down on the beach Miss May and Eric didn't hang around and they both trotted back to the car as fast as their little legs could carry them!

My paws are freezing, just who is this Jack Frost?

 Of course, OTL kept on hanging about to get a picture of the sun rising over Sheerness!

Yeah, OK, let's get a move on please!

 Eric pointed out that while us woofers were OK 'cos our legs are long but a ferret has to walk along with their underside brushing the ground!

If only you knew what is bouncing on the shells!

 Holly said that maybe he should cut down on the food 'cos that makes your tummy big!

Eric did ask if that was Holly's problem or did she inherit her backside from her dad?

Holly mumbled something about ferrets tasting like chicken but went off chasing sniffs!

Miss May was ferreting about under the grass looking for frozen slugs or snails but all she found were Weasel Sniffs! 

More Weasel sniffs!

We got back to the car and both ferrets dived into the travelling cage and under the blanket!

Back home, after a rampage around the house, they both cuddled up in their cage and drifted off for their 'Ferret Snooze' which should last about eighteen hours!

Midday I gave OTL's chair a shove to tell him I wanted to go out again. Both Fred and Wendy were half awake waiting for OTL to stop playing on the computer.

The Storage Thingy where he keeps all his files has suddenly stopped letting him in to save or down load any files.

OTL is not a happy woofer, he is to take it down to the computer shop tomorrow to see if they can get into the memory drives!

More expense!

Down on the beach it was still as cold and both Fred and Wendy demanded that they should get carried in the ferret bag but OTL said they could have a carry in his arms but no diving into the bag!

We want a carry or else!

Wendy said that it was a good job Freddy had been 'Done' or he might have trouble walking over the frost!

So, we are all looking out for this Jack Frost who has been leaving all this white stuff over the place. OTL has to scrape the stuff off the windscreen before we can drive off to the beach. You know, it was minus 1.5 this morning and they say it will be worse tonight!

Holly says that we should stay in bed tomorrow and have a wee in the garden!

We'll see!

Down to Zero Degrees Here!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, here we are again and we have some good news!

No, we haven't won the lottery but nearly as good!

Old Two Legs has been taking May and Eric out for a walk but has had to take two travelling cages 'cos they start picking on each other. Now, with all this bed hopping and cuddling under the blanket, OTL thought he might try the old 'Two Ferrets in One Box' trick!

It worked!

There were a couple of squeaks as they settled down but no more as we headed towards the beach!

Progress or wot! 

Mind you, I suppose the cold also helped them 'cos they were both snuggled up in OTL's arms all the way down to the beach!

There were no clouds up in the sky and OTL reckons that was the reason why it was so cold! A real taste of winter to come maybe?

I reckon it's time to get back to the car!

 Young Eric was willing to have a stroll along the beach but he did point out that his bits were getting cold when he stopped for a rest on the cold sea shells!

This is definitely 'Brass Monkey Weather'!

 Eric has never seen Winter before 'cos when he was born in May Time this year it was all warm and sunny!

We have all seen cold winters and Eric already agrees that Summer is Best!

Lunch time Fred and Wendy were down the beach and they both agreed that it was better at home!

Fred said that he knew a Brass Monkey had passed this was 'cos he found two round objects in the sand!

OK, so, they maybe stones but they could easily be from a Brass Monkey!

 Wendy told him to stop messing about and to shift his tail 'cos there was a warm bed waiting in the car and it had her name written on it!

Come on, I need a warm bed!

Now I'm not sure what the temperature is going to be tonight but our weather monitoring thingy whatsit will be able to record it! Now, a nice twenty five degrees would be an ideal temperature!

Not too sure what is for dinner tonight but Holly and I have decided we will do some serious mugging 'cos we fancy a change from Doggy Scoff!

The Tooth Fairy Cometh!

Yo! Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, after the weekends fun and game we have some good news! Miss May and Eric had to spend all day in a travelling cage together and it seems that Old Two Legs warning about hurting each other or messing up their fluffy coats had some effect. They didn't attack each other, much and when they got home, and all today, they have been cuddled up next to each other snoozing the day away!

OTL reckons that he may take away the 'Spare Bed' that May retreats to if Eric get too boisterous, just so she is forced to make more of an effort instead of trying to be 'Boss Lady' all the time!

Down on the beach this morning it was rather cold. The wind was whipping across the beach and blowing us all over the place!   

No, I can't see a ferret here either!

 It was so cold that Eric climbed back into the ferret bag and left Miss May to have a 'Ferret Roll' in the Sea Kale!

Oooo! A Sea Kale and Weasel Wee Scrub, Super!

What ever turns you on!

Lunchtime OTL decided that Wendy and Fred should get some fresh air and exercise their paws 'cos they hadn't been out for a run for a couple of days!

Mind you, the wind was up and so was the tide but the temperature was down and so was the wind chill!

Cold wet and windy!

Miss Wendy has got a super fluffy winter coat but even she said she was feeling the cold! They both sort of crouched down and refused to walk any further!

Enough is enough, we are not going any further!

 In the end OTL was getting cold standing there waiting for them, so he relented and carried them down to the hill where the bench is and they had to walk back to the car from there, which wasn't so bad 'cos they were out of the wind and there were some interesting sniffs to be had as well!

We got back home in time for OTL to head off to the dentist to get his bridge stuck back to his remaining tooth plus for the dentist to have a look at the back teeth that have been causing OTL pain over the last week.

The bridge was refitted and the dentist had a look at the teeth and couldn't make up his mind, so, OTL was told to carry on with the anti biotic pills while the dentist took an x-ray of the sore tooth to see if there is an infection under the tooth!

So, they patted him on the head and told him to 'Keep on with the tablets', then they took more money off him!

Poor OTL, he does suffer and it costs him money as well!

We've been looking at caravan sites for our holidays next year and have found a couple with Wi-Fi (for The Missus) a beach close enough to walk to (for us woofers and ferrets) and some interesting things for OTL to photograph!

So, we will be booking them next month!

The day after The Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, wot a day yesterday was!

We were out at the crack of dawn with The Missus while Old Two Legs stayed at home cleaning the cages out and making them all spic and span ready for when the ferrets come home!

Somewhere around eight thirty we set off for Harrietsham and a day of ferret sniffing!

This year we had four ferrets entering in the competition and we also entered the 'Ferret in a Bag' contest as well.

Wendy is fast asleep in the right hand bag!

The idea is for a ferret to be put in a bag and the quickest one out won! We had high hopes for Miss Wendy 'cos she just flies out of the bags at home, so we reckon that she was going to bring home the big prize of a Ferret Hammock!

Well, by the time the games got going our mob were fast asleep in their beds snoring their tails off!

First Miss Wendy couldn't find the exit so she went back to sleep!

Eric and Freddy didn't do any better, they went to sleep as well!

It was Miss May who tried to save our embarrassment and got through two rounds before being beaten by some tearaway with long legs!

There were loads of ferrets at the show and they were all judged on how fit and healthy they were and if their teeth were clean and coats brushed and clean bottoms!

To show you what it was like, Eric got marked down 'cos he had a bit of ear wax and Freddy got marked down 'cos he had a claw with a little nick in it, so it wasn't perfect!

We had the same problem with May and Wendy, tiddly things but enough to get marked down. In fact in the section that Fred and Eric entered the difference between first and last ferret was just five points!

There were some absolutely super ferrets there and we all agreed that next year we would all try harder!

There were contests to find the Cuddliest Ferret and Fluffiest, and which Ferret you would take Home and Prettiest Face.

Holly said they needed another section for the ferret with the biggest butt and Wendy would win that!

OTL said that if Wendy heard that then Holly was in for a sharp nip on her butt!

We liked the decorations on the cages as well.

OK, but where is the ferret?

There were loads of prizes and even food for the ferrets and special stuff to put in their cages to wee or poo on!

 We had donations from other suppliers of ferret food and OTL won a bag for our mob to try!

A new food for our ferrets!

 OTL had been asked to judge the Young Handler section and looked all important as he wandered around with his clip board interviewing the entrants!

In the end it was Holly and her ferret Storm who won first prize!

It was fun watching all the two legs and their ferrets, you could tell that they all loved them and even enjoyed cuddling other ferrets as well!

 OTL says that all ferrets are cuddly!

By the time we got home it was getting on for eight and by the time we had everything cleared away it was ten thirty, so that is why there was not Daisy's Diary yesterday!

Today we were late in getting up and to be honest, we could have stayed in bed even longer! It wasn't raining but the wind was blowing and we didn't hang about too long on the morning run!

Of course, after being so clean and brushed yesterday, Eric and May enjoyed a good roll in grass, just to get their normal sniff back!

It's good to be home!

 Of course, Miss May just had to have a serious roll in a Weasel Sniff!

You just can't beat a Weasel Sniff!

 Mind you, it was so late getting out that instead of seeing the sun rise, we saw the sun set start to happen!

Oops! The Sun just fell of the back of Grain!

 Holly said it wasn't worth hanging about 'cos it was getting colder and anyway, she had left a fresh Bonio Biscuit down the back of OTL's chair!

Hang on, that is My Bonio!

We  are off to watch the recording of the F1 Race and see if Hamilton can win the race but loose the championship!
