Snoozy Sunday

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

I tell you wot, this mucking about with the clocks certainly messes up you day! I mean, the time when we should be waking up is replaced by a walk along the sea front and times when we should be chasing Flogs in the pond is taken up by snoozing!

Trust the Two Legs to mess it all up!

Down on the sea front it was almost the same as yesterday.........Grey!

Oh! Look! Sheerness!
When we parked the car in the car park there was a motorcycle covered with a motorcycle tent thingy. Now this is new, we don't get motorcycles covered up and left overnight. We looked around to see if there was anyone camping on the sea front but there was nothing to be seen!

Strange!

We left the bike and headed off for our walk. On the way back Old Two Legs spotted something in the water, just off shore.

OK, Wot is it?
Lucky for us OTL can zoom in and enlarge the picture, clever or wot?

Look! A Bozo in a Boat!
Now, we are not sure what he was doing paddling his canoe on the sea when there is so much mist around but there are some strange TL's visit our sea front!

Hey, talking of Bozo's, lunchtime we were walking along when this big mean looking bozo woofer with a bad attitude came up to OTL.

Holly and I legged it and left OTL to sort him out but OTL knew this woofer and the woofer just loves OTL!

Why is it that all the big ugly looking Bozo Woofers love OTL?

Come on OTL, tickle my tail!
His owner was keeping Bozo on the lead 'cos she said he was just too friendly!

Yeah, Right, rather you than me!

Glad to hear that Archie Babe can reduce the number of pills but the sharp needle every month sound very brave!

See you all tomorrow, providing we can wake up in time. OTL says it takes him all summer to get used to the clocks going forward, just in time for when they go back!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Dull, Wet, Windy Saturday!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

Well, we blame Archie Babe it's his fault!

Not only did he get a shampoo and shave before going to the vets but he splashed pictures all over FaceAche showing wot he looked like!

There was The Missus holding up a picture and showing it to Old Two Legs!

That was it, off he went to get all the ironmongery from the shed and the shower was prepared and the shampoo and scrubbing brush got ready.

First we went off for our morning walk, there wasn't much to see, in fact, there was nothing to see at all!

Well, that's where Sheerness should be!
We stood there for a while and Holly did come up with the idea that we should have a roll in the mud to make the forthcoming bath worth it.

Unfortunately the tide was in and it covered the mud, so bang goes that idea!

We should have been earlier or maybe we could hang about for a few hours?
Back home the ferrets were on strict orders not to spend too long rampaging as we needed the kitchen and bathroom!

First Holly was plonked onto the desk top and photographed, OTL says it is the 'Before'

Before and she reckons it looks OK to her!
Then she got the full works, shampooed, depood and shaved to within six millimetre of her skin!

Of course, she showed off and danced about trying to escape but OTL had put the straps on and she was stuck!

She got the full treatment and ended up looking like this!

Looking Good Miss Holly!
After the walk at lunchtime it was my go in the shower and I got the full treatment as well!

We didn't do a 'Before' and I really didn't want to do an 'After' but OTL managed this shot!

Just wait for me to find a really stinky sniff to roll in!
I stood the electric shaver for a couple of seconds but OTL knows I throw wobblies when he uses that, so he had to do my haircut with the scissors, not as 'balanced' but the scissors didn't scare me too much!

We plan to have a relaxing night tonight and tomorrow it will be OTL's turn to have his beard shaved and his hair cut.

Holly and I are going to share the job between us!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunshine, for a little while!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, today it's been a day of two halves!

The first half was all grey and dismal! Not that we were dismal, we had a good run about the bedroom and bouncing on the bed, then Old Two Legs got up and took us out for our morning walk!

We missed the sunrise and only caught a brief glimpse of the sun climbing up into the sky!

I know it 'aint much but it is the sun!
Back home again for a snooze after a woof at the postman!

We have heard on the radio that the clocks go forward this weekend so we may just catch a sunrise or two!

Lunchtime the sun was out so at half eleven we headed off to the football field. OTL had the tennis ball with him, the one I like to kill and skin!

He threw it and then kicked it and of course I chased it and then ran off down the field and refused to give it back to OTL!

Down on the sea front we headed for the beach 'cos it was all sunshine and blue skies!

That beach looks inviting!
Normally OTL keeps us off the beach 'cos Holly loves rubbing her face in the sand and that gives her a sore eye which in turn gives OTL a sore wallet!

Today he let her go onto the beach but Holly got all excited and, yes, she nose dived into the sand and ended up with a face full of sand!

I see Sand!
Back to the football field and another game with the ball. This time OTL was teasing me rotten, he pretended to throw it one direction and off I went like a rocket only to find I was chasing fresh air!

I turned around to see him throw the ball in the opposite direction!

He can be so sneaky!

There was the time he pretended to throw it on way and then the other and then in another direction!

That was it, I rushed up to him and jumped up and nearly shoved him over!

Throw the Woofin' Ball or I'll bite your kneecaps!
We had a good game but Holly just sat there watching 'cos here eyes were getting sore!

Back home OTL washed her eyes and got rid of the sand and then he put some more ointment in her eyes to get rid of the soreness!

Tomorrow it's haircutting time, well for Holly anyway!

I'll get OTL to take a photo!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A bit of a Grey Day!

Hello Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It is still 'Grey Clouds' down on the sea front and this morning wasn't really made for photographs!

We met up with the Lakeland Terriers who were their normal noisy woofing ways!

Holly and I just stood there giving them the old 'Hairy Eyeball' but they still carried on woofing but they were moving away from us!

If they were any closer I'd twist their tails!
Old Two Legs works in the office and Holly and I have sleeping cushions we gently snooze the morning away but come lunchtime we have to tell him 'It's Time' to go walkies again and once he has cottoned onto what we want, we are off again!

I love it when he realises what time it is!
Today the sun was out but not very visible! Just for a change we were let onto the beach and the first thing I did was to have a roll!

OTL kept close to Holly Chops 'cos she likes sticking her nose into the sand and digging a trench!

That gives her a dose of Conjunctivitis and normally costs OTL a fortune in Vet Bills!

So, not wishing to spend all his money OTL made sure Holly kept her nose out of the sand!

Remember, sniffs only!
I found a tennis ball in the car and OTL put it in his pocket, so, when we got to the Football Field he threw it down the field and off I went, chasing the ball.

Now, I don't to this retrieving thing, I'm more of a 'Chase and Kill' sort of terrier!

I chased and then sat down to do some killing! OTL had to chase me around for a bit before I let him have the ball and then worried the heck out of him until he threw the ball again.

Then I killed it again and started to skin it!

Just stay there until I kill you!
Back home Holly and I were given a good brushing to get rid of the knots in our fur ready for a bath and a fight with the clippers!

I think that will be done on Saturday 'cos The Missus has a Master Class on Saturday and maybe even Sunday, so two little woofers could end up clean and bald!

I'm not sure what is for dinner tonight, yesterday it was Ham Salad (OTL's Slimming Meal) so tonight it may be Gammon Salad or Bambi Burger or even Steak and Salad!

Claws crossed!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Holly works it out!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here.

Now, you know how clever Holly Chops is? OK, we know that she is a bit of a 'Piggly Pup' with her liking of food, but, she does sometimes come up with good idea's!

Yesterday was the other 'First Day of Spring' and a few days ago we were thinking that we had seen the last of the sunrise colours over Sheerness.

However!

Holly Chops has been thinking!

Old Two Legs gets up at six to take us out for our morning walk and all we see of the sunrise now depends of the Fiddly Diddly things OTL does with the camera controls.

A Fiddly Diddly Sunrise!
Now, what would it be like if OTL got up at five?

Would he see a colourful sunrise?

We reckon he would be on a winner. More than that, the clocks are going forward so we will be getting up a whole hour earlier!

Holly says that we will get some more sunrises for a month or so!

Clever little smarty pants woofer she is!

This morning we missed the sunrise but still ended up looking at the blossom.

It's Spring!
We also found some more blossom brightening up our walk through the bushes.

We think this is Gorse!
Lunchtime we were down the Sea Wall again and the sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze blowing, wot a change from this morning and a few days ago!

This is better!
Just for fun, Holly was dragging her tail sniffing the sniffs, so, OTL and I had to wait on the bench until she decided to join us!

Now that the sun has arrived, OTL warned me that the time is getting close when we will be getting a shampoo and set!

...but I'm getting to like this 'Hairy' look!
See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's the first day of Spring and I try a Three Legged Wee!

Hi Woofers!

We are back, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well lads, we have been out today and can confirm, it's a bit warmer!

It's also still windy but there is no rain!

Old Two Legs was up later than normal and we ended up bumping into some of the early morning woofers who we haven't seen for a while.

OTL also spotted some Hawthorn Blossom on the tree by the side of the path down to the Sea Wall.

Spring is starting!

When we got down to the Sea Wall the sun was well up but OTL went all Fiddly Diddly with the camera controls and managed this shot.

Not the most colourful but full of drama!
Holly is suffering from Conjunctivitis again and it's lucky that OTL got two tubes of stuff for her eyes last time she went to the vet. So this morning we had some 'Eye Washing' which Holly hates, then after drying her chops OTL squirted the stuff into her eyes.

After that is was down for a snooze before the lunchtime walk. However, we got interrupted by the delivery man bringing OTL's new mobile phone, nothing
fancy or expensive but it was free, OTL likes free, it's one of his favourite prices!

Unless he is doing the selling, then 'free' is a foreign language!

Lunchtime we were off again and this time we parked up by the football field, the one with the moles!

In the distance we could see a couple of woofers and a Two Legs walking across the field. Suddenly one dog stopped, looked our way, then came tearing across the field at top speed!

It was that Bozo woofer who has fallen in love with OTL and insists on giving OTL a big welcome whenever he sees OTL!

Yo! OTL!
He ran around OTL three times and then legged it back to his TL.

As I said, he's a Bozo!

It was still windy down on the beach and this time the tide was in.

Just little white horses!
Now, remembering what Archie Babe said about weeing down yer leg, I decided to try waving one of my legs while weeing.

It didn't work, the wind was coming in the wrong direction!

'ere! My leg feels all warm and wet!
Holly said that only boy woofers stood on three legs and they were always being messy and us Lady Woofers should stick to four paws on the ground!

My leg's gone all wet and cold now!
So, that little experiment went all wrong!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

So, where is the sun?

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, I don't know about you but we thought that it was going to be warmer today, I mean, those weather people where right about the cold front but they have got the warm front wrong!

We were out early this morning and headed down to the sea front. No one else was around and the way the wind was blowing we didn't expect to see anyone!

There wasn't much of a sunrise either, maybe the sun was too cold to get out of bed!

Not even a glimmer!
The wind was blowing us along the path and to have a wee was a bit dangerous 'cos the wind was trying to blow our wee onto our legs!

Damp doggy's or wot!

That is hardly worth looking at!
Last night there was supposed to be a big Aurora lighting the night sky but down here there was clouds, clouds and even more clouds!

So, no pictures of Aurora over Sheerness today!

Lunchtime Old Two Legs had to go to the dentist for a checkup and you know what that means, yep, back he came, all poor, skint and snivelling!

The dentist has done it again, what was supposed to be just a checkup has turned into 'A little remedial work'!

Let's hope that will make him forget about our haircut!

Crossed claws for warmer weather!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's a bit chilly today!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, after yesterdays fun and games we were wondering if today the snow would all melt and it would get warmer.

The snow is still here and the wind makes it a bit colder than yesterday!

Ho Hum!

Although there was very little snow landing on us, the roads were one big ice rink around here. We didn't even go down to the sea side 'cos Old Two Legs didn't fancy driving the car. You see, we are normally the last place to get and salt or grit when it snows and there are a number of rather dodgy spots when ice gathers and they just happen to be where there are ditches on both sides of the road!

So, that was it, we got a walk over the football field and across the field!

When we got behind the trees it wasn't so bad but once into the open it felt like we were going to get our tails blown off or frozen!

We have still evaded the dreaded wash and haircut. Can you imagine us with 6mm of hair in this weather?

So, we had to put up with being brushed and de tangled and OTL is still telling us that as soon as the weather changes then out comes the electric shaver!

One thing about the wash is the drying, you know, that jet powered 'Dog Blaster'.

We got some ear protectors delivered and OTL is expecting us to wear this thing over our ears to help reduce the 'Scary Bit' when he dries us!

I tried it on this afternoon, I was not impressed!

OK, this is one side!

And this is the other side!
Then, just for a change, OTL took the small Hoodie off me and put the big one over my ears!

OK, it's bigger and it comes half way down my neck!
You know, I could wear this as a scarf over my ears when we go out in the cold. Together with my Flying Jacket I'd be right warm!

Well, it would keep my neck warm in the cold wind!
OTL took it off me and I managed to get back under the desk and onto my bed!

This is much better and I've got my ball as well!
So, that has been it for today, windy, cold and snow on the ground, just a dusting but still blooming cold!

If the clouds part tonight we may see some Aurora in the sky, but being so far south it will be low on the horizon, so don't expect miracles!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Brass Monkey Time Again!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Last night it was all warm and Spring like but today when we woke up, brrrr, the cold weather had reached us!

We should have stayed in bed like wot Archie Babe is doing and cuddled up but Old Two Legs said we need the exercise and if we didn't, he did!

Let's hope Archie Babes sitting on Auntie Elaine's head has worked, you see it is a well known woofer healing trick that us woofers know and keep to ourselves. Ferrets do the same thing but they are not as warm as us woofers!

We got to the Sea Wall and the wind was terrible, it brought rain lashing in that suddenly changed to snow and threatened to blow our tails off!

There is snow in them there clouds!

Holly and I got halfway through the walk and decided having done our business we were heading back to the car and home!

Poor OTL got left behind!

We knew that OTL planned to give us both a wash and haircut but after getting home the elecamatricity power failed! No elecamatricity means no shower means no hair clippers means no haircut!

Yahoooooooo!

The only down side was that OTL couldn't have a cup of tea and he had to take the camping stove and cans of gas up to the village hall so The Missus and her glue slapping ladies can have a hot tea or coffee!

No thought about poor freezing OTL and us woofers, no heating, no warm drink and OTL's home made soup had icebergs floating on the top, so he had to put up with a marmite sarnie!

Half way through the afternoon the power came on again and after we had chipped the icicles off his nose OTL settled down to watch the rugby!

Half way through the rugby he got the call to pick up TM, so bang goes his afternoon plans!

One good thing, there's not much snow about, well, not down here, just enough to make the fields a bit muddy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

So many Flogs, So much Spawn!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

It has been a wonderful day today, loads of sunshine and warm balmy breezes. Seems strange that tomorrow they are forecasting snow and ice and blizzards and floods and plagues of locust but later it will be changeable!

Old Two Legs has threaten to give us a wash and haircut. You see the Hoodies have arrived and both Holly and I have tried them on and we were not impressed!

This morning OTL was up fifteen minutes earlier than normal and we were down on the beach taking the first picture at 06:20hr!

We reckon you can get fed up with sunrises!
It wasn't the most interesting sunrise he has taken but as the sun is getting up earlier every day, we will have to put up with it!

No, I didn't think much of that either!
Lunchtime it was even warmer and we know that 'cos OTL didn't take his hat with him!

The ferrets had a little run on the football field before heading off to the Sea Wall for a rampage through the grass.

Do we chase Mole or Woofer?
Eric was playing in the grass trying to do his 'Ferret Hiding' trick but OTL wouldn't let him disappear 'cos there were woofers coming along the path and he wanted both Eric and May up in his arms before they arrived!

After they had passed we all enjoyed a jog back down to the football field!

Race you back to the Mole Hills!
Back home OTL counted Thirteen Flogs in our pond! They were all over the place, making splashing noises and grabbing each other to have a wrestle!

Well, that's what it looked like to us, mind you, this one looked like it was getting it's leg over!

New Indian Style Wrestling Throw?
We left them to it but later when OTL went out he could see loads more Flog Splawn in the pond, who knows how many Flogs we will see hatch this year?

A serious load of Splawn!
Holly reckons that it is the tinkling sound of the water coming out of the jar that gets them going, I mean, if I sit there listening to it tinkle it makes me want to have a wee!

The tinkling drives me mad!
Holly says that she has seen a pack of Bambi Burgers thawing out, so we know what we will be mugging OTL for tonight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
