Monty is chancing his luck!

Hi Woofers!

The Gang is back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

When we looked out of the bedroom window first thing this morning we saw the Orion star cluster shining in the sky.

However, when we finally got out for our walk it had gone! I mean, we were so looking forward to hearing from Old Two Legs the story behind the cluster but the clouds just covered the sky and that was it, gone!

Maybe tomorrow we can get up a bit earlier and get a chance of seeing it then!

The Missus and The Cat Woman are going away to a 'Retreat' this coming weekend, a whole weekend of glue sloshing and throwing glitter about!

Holly and I think that OTL will get the hair cutting gear out and when TM comes back, we will be bald!

We had some fun at lunchtime, Monty was playing games by creeping up behind us and pretending to be Eric and saying he was going to bite our tail.

Holly came up with a way to stop him.

Any closer and I'll wee in your ear!
When he tried it on me, I just asked him if he wanted a Wee Wash!

Don't push your luck Monty Chops, you could get wet!
Needless to say, we didn't wee on him but he did get close to getting a wash!

OTL has spent the afternoon clearing out him 'Home Filing' by shredding all the old invoices and stuff like that. Poor shredding machine was almost red hot by the time he had finished!

We got chicken tonight so we are off!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Dark Days!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

It's been a bit of a dismal day today, rain showers all day!

This morning it was so damp and chilly that Eric crawled back into bed and went back to sleep!

Mind you, had it not been for the fact I wanted a wee I would have gone back to bed!

Down on the sea front Old Two Legs took a picture of the River Medway and Sheerness but he had to put the camera down on the concrete to stop camera shake!

Can you see anything yet?       I can't even see you!
On our way back to the car we spotted a couple of woofers with collars that lit up! I suppose they just wanted to be seen in the dark!

Well, I suppose Christmas is on the way!
We had Dave The Caravan Man around to do some repairs to the lights at the back of the caravan where Old Two Legs managed to run into the wall at the Gretna Green camp site earlier this year!

So now we two brand new rear lights!

Lunchtime came and just before we left home, it started to rain! That was it, Monty and Wendy went back to bed and refused to come out!

Mind you, May and Eric managed to get a slurp of Ferretone as compensation for not going out earlier!

I can just get my tongue into the hole where it comes out!
Miss May loves Ferretone and when OTL needs to clean her ears or clip her claws she lays on her back with the bottle of Ferretone across her tummy and licks the Ferretone out of the cap while OTL holds her paw up in the air and clips the claws!

I had my ears cleaned yesterday so I get the cap full without the cuddles!
This afternoon OTL and The Missus headed off to do some shopping so Holly and I headed off to the bedroom window where we waited until they came back!

It's always fun when the get back 'cos Holly and I go potty, jumping all over the sofa and up and down the stairs and back over the sofa again!

Great fun!

Doggy Scoff again today, still OTL has some gammon, so if we are lucky we can help him by making sure it tastes right!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Niffler Hunting with Holly Chops!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy Niffler, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Nah! We were joking about The Niffler!

Mind you we both sort of kept an eye open for any twitching in the undergrowth and of course Holly was keeping all her gold bars in the family safe!

She had forgotten that the Niffler can get through the cracks in a safe door plus there is the Bowtruckle, the best lock picker in the world!

Eric came out this morning and although it was a little damp, he managed to get a jog in on the way back to the car park.

The sun sort of got up but the clouds were blocking any really dramatic vista, but it was worth at least one picture!

Wake Up Sun Shine!
Back home Miss May was waiting to get out of the cage and as soon as her paws hit the carpet she was off downstairs and into the bowl of Lactose Free Milk!

Normally ferrets are lactose intolerant but this 'Ferret Milk' hits the spot!

There was a time when the ferrets have left some milk in the bowl and Holly and I get into a tussle to finish it off!

Nowadays the ferrets manage to finish the milk before OTL puts them back for a snooze, that means Holly and I are in need of a slurp but all we have is water!

Lunchtime the sun was shining and both Wendy and Monty were looking forward to hunting Nifflers!

When we got to the Sea Wall they were both off into the grass to hunt Nifflers or even Nargles!

Holly wasn't helpful, she kept spotting Nifflers scurrying about in the grass but instead of Nifflers what she had really spotted were two ferrets snuffling about chasing Nifflers!

Over to the left, theres two of them sniffing in the grass!
Mind you, Holly did say that any gold bars we find are hers!

Yeah, as if!

Now yesterday we told you about the birthday present from Rocky but we forgot to say a 'Big Thank You' to Rocky. You see we got so excited when we sniffed tha sausages!

Those Choc Drops were a bit of all right as well!

Poor Archie Babe didn't get to share the Plawn Clackers and Mrs Sue won a game for mini two legs of seven years!

This world is getting stranger as it goes!

Today there should be some chicken for us, claws crossed. We used to have lambs heart but The Missus linked runny poo's to lambs heart so that was stopped. We tried saying that we get runny poo's when we have been eating something we find in the garden or on the beach but it didn't make any difference, once TM has decided then that's it!

Maybe when TM goes off to one of her weekend retreats OTL will sneak some lambs heart in for us!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Saturday Fun.

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Today we were up early 'cos Old Two Legs reckons it was going to be wet this morning, you know, rain!

We stuck our noses out of the curtain and yes, the ground was wet, but no sign of rain. We told Eric and he decided that he would go back to bed and have another snooze until Holly and I got back!

We didn't mind, at least the walk could be a bit quicker than our normal walk where we have to wait for him to catch up!

We left the camera at home 'cos the clouds were covering the sky and we just knew that the sun was still fast asleep!

Snuffling along the top path Holly was laughing about how all the ferrets were convinced that there were Nargles in the undergrowth amongst all the sniffs!

As we were passing one clump of bushes a little voice squeaked out that there were more than Nargles here in the dark places!

Well, that was it, Holly sat down with a thump and started to do her 'Deep Growl' which is reserved for strange woofers and things she doesn't like 'cos they may be dangerous!

It was then that we saw what had spoken!

I recognised it straight away, it was a Bowtruckle! Now we have never seen a Bowtruckle before and Holly was just a little concerned that it was dangerous to woofers! I did say that it was like a walking talking salad and just how dangerous can a salad be but Holly was being careful!

Nargles? It's Bowtruckles you have to be careful of!
I remembered that Bowtruckles could pick locks and stuff like that, very useful if you get locked in the loo!

I remember from the movie that there were other creatures as well, like  the Niffler who just loves shinny money and gold bars! Come to think of that, so does The Missus but she doesn't look like a Niffler!

A Junior Niffler looking for money!
Holly said that she doesn't ever get locked in the loo and all her savings were in Bitcoin so would be of no interest to Nifflers!

With that she was off looking for rabbits 'cos she reckons she knows how to deal with creatures like that and any way, who had ever heard of a talking salad!

By then the Bowtruckle had gone back into the undergrowth and I was busting for a wee, so I had other things on my mind!

Just for a change, we didn't take Wendy and Monty up to the village hall 'cos today Rosie wasn't doing any crafting and OTL wanted to watch the rugby match on the TV plus we also wanted to watch the F1 racing, so it was a race back home before it all started!

TM came back from her Master Class and gave us a present from Rocky, it was a birthday present that had a super sniff to it! We opened it up and found two packs of Doggy Sausages and some Woofer Chock Drops!

Guess what we will be nibbling tonight?

Talking of nibbles, I just fancy a Choc Drop, so, bye bye for now and see you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Friday, 9 November 2018

It's Friday, at last!

Hi Woofers!

We are here, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We love Fridays, first of all it comes behind the weekend and on top of that, we sort of close the shop at midday.

Well, normally that's what we do but not today!

First thing the sun rise tried to be dramatic but sort of failed! Even after this picture the sun came up and sort of blasted all the colour from the sky!

It's the best we could get today!
Back home it was off to bed while Old Two Legs cleaned cages and set about finishing off the 'Manufacturing'!

Well, he got tangled up in the computer and only half finished the manufacturing and of course, we needed a walk and a wee!

'Well, it's not mine, are you sure it's not yours?'
The tide was in and Holly tried to get Wendy and Monty to go in for a swim but they are not daft, Wendy doesn't do water and Monty has never got his paws wet!

Hey, Weasels, fancy a swim?
OTL suggested that maybe Holly Chops should go in for a dip in the water!

Holly then suggested I have a dip but it was even too rough for me!

On your bike Porky!
Back home OTL finally finished this 'Manufacturing' that has taken all week! Now the carrier has been booked to collect on Monday morning, so with a bit of luck we will be here to wave the pallet off!

The Missus is off to her Master Class so we have a 'restful' day planned, F1, nibbles and paws up on the sofa!

Now, what's this package? A squirrel from the garden? A pack of Love Hearts from the bottom shelve?

Holly keeps running to the door every time she hears a noise! Holly says it has to be edible and wonders if Archie Babe has tested it first?

Sounds intriguing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Another Hard Days Work, but not for us!

Hi Woofers!

Back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Good News...........No Rain!

We love it when there is no rain, that means we can run in the grass without getting our tums wet!

Mind you, Eric got a little damp on the run back across the football field!

Old Two Legs is still 'Manufacturing' and reckons it will be tomorrow before he has finished, then maybe ship it all on Monday!

This morning we saw the sun poke its nose over the top of Leysdown. Not the most dramatic sunrise but 'intereting'!

Good Morning Sunshine!
The sun stayed around all day and both Monty and Wendy had a good game of Hunt The Nargle!

I'm sure I saw one here yesterday!
Holly on the other paw is convinced that Nargles are no more than a figment of OTL's imagination!

Oh Please, I mean, Have you ever seen one? OTL is just winding you up!
Wendy says that Holly is just an old misery guts and she is jealous 'cos she has never seen one!around the edge of the football field

Monty says he has a better job to do than chase Nargles, he is practising digging out Moles from the mole hills that have appeared  over the last few weeks.

Come on out or we'll send in the ferrets!
Trouble is, as soon as the mole sees the ferrets they disappear down the Mole Hole and won't come out until we have gone!

Cowards!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

A wet one for us woofers!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

This morning we woke up to the gentle 'Pitter Patter' of rain drops lashing against the windows of the house, that plus the crashing of The Missus getting all 'Inspired' in the craft room!

Why does crafting have to be so noisy!

Eric was awake and so was Miss May but both of them declined the offer of a run along the sea front!

That didn't stop Old Two Legs from dragging Holly and I out for our morning constitutional!

He didn't take the camera but really it wasn't worth it anyway 'cos it was too dark, too wet and there was nothing to see anyway!

Lucky for us, OTL kept a weather eye open and was consulting the rain radar and just like him, he spotted a 'Window' in the weather, so, at eleven thirty we were of together with the ferrets Monty and Wendy.

'How's yer belly today?'  'Not Bad, yours OK?'  Yeah, feels OK today!'
We got down to the beach to see a small yappy little Puppy making a terrible noise, I mean, just how much noise can one mini woofer make?

I'm orf, too much noise around here!
We headed up the grass path followed by the ferrets and of course, Monty just had to try to be helpful!

'Hey! Yer bum looks OK today!' .....................'Thank you Monty, a little louder, they didn't hear that in Southend!'
When we got back to the field there was evidence that the Moles had been at work again, Monty did his best to sort out the moles but no matter  how hard he dug he just couldn't find a mole!

Here Molly Mole, Monty wants to see you!
We met up with the three Basset Hound Types who scare the woof out of me but today they were well behaved. Their Two Legs gave OTL a ferret carry bag and some harnesses for the ferrets. They all looked brand new!

The TL used to keep ferrets and he had a load of ferret stuff in the cupboard that he reckoned could go to a good home, ours!

When we got home OTL tried a harness out on Wendy and it looks like it will just right for her. OTL says he will spend some time adjusting the harness so it won't come off the ferrets and then try them out on the football field behind our house!

Today OTL and The Missus headed off to the TL Vet to get stabbed with anti flu stuff. I suppose it is really like a worming tablet but the get stabbed instead of getting a pill buried in a cheese biscuit with some cream cheese dolloped on the top to hide it!

I know all OTL's tricks!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Lucky Holly!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back with you again!

Well, last night we were ready for all those Whizz Bangs, Holly was tucked up on Old Two Legs lap with her blanket wrapped around her shoulders. I was next to her cuddled up close to make her feel safe.

What did we get?

Nuffin!

No Whizz Bangs at all, not even one!

Result!

Mind you, that doesn't mean they have finished, there is the weekend and there is bound to be some left over from last night!

We were a little late in getting down to the sea shore and when we got to the football field there was a layer of misty fog over the grass.

Spooky or wot?
Mind you, when we got to the beach the mist had gone and the sun was hiding behind a bank of cloud!

Well, it's there but not sure where exactly!
Lunchtime was fun, we got to the car park and there were woofers everywhere! I mean, loads of woofers chasing balls and playing chase all over the place!

Holly and I got to a safe spot and set about doing our 'Show Off Woof'!

Well, that was what we were doing while OTL was saying hello to several woofers he met on the path!

How about this for a woof!
It was all OK 'cos We know these woofers and often meet them on the path!

OK OTL? Where are those soppy little woofers of yours?
We were keeping out of trouble that's what we were doing!

Once they had headed off on their walk we caught up with OTL and were surprised to see the sea with all the mist and clouds gone!

Look! A ship!
While Wendy and Monty were ferreting in the grass Holly was sitting on the Sea Wall trying to get me to have a dip in the water!

Come on, I just love it when you do your 'Deep Paddle' trick!
I'm not that daft, I know she is trying to get me into trouble, again!

Back home it's Doggy Scoff again, you know I reckon these Two Legs only know two meals, chicken and scoff!

OTL is still working away so I suppose I'll have to go down and see if I can help, he loves that when I help him!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Whizz Bangs should be BANNED!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

I don't know about you lot but here in Godwin Towers little Holly has been scared silly by these fireworks being let off. She has been shivering and cuddled up with Old Two Legs on the sofa trying to hide away from the nasty things!

You see, when Holly was a little puppy, before she came to live with us, she had a scary time at a 'Party' that had loads of whooshing and banging fireworks which scared her rotten.

Ever since then, any firework sends her into panic mode!

Tonight looks to be the worse and OTL says he will turn the TV volume up and hopefully block the noise of some of the bangs. Mind you, there will always be the fireworks that get left over and get used next weekend but we are hoping that they are going to be greedy and all of the whizz bangs will go this week!

This morning we were out a little late in getting out and it was a little windy. Now windy doesn't bother Holly and nor does it me but Eric says he doesn't do wind or cold or wet!

Of course, that means he is cuddled up in OTL's arms while Holly and I search for sniffs!

The sunrise was, different, different but still interesting!

Well, under there is Leysdown!
It was at that point Eric got put down so OTL can take a picture and looking over his shoulder, Eric said that the wind as well as the sun was coming in from Leysdown!

That's it, it's all coming from over there!
When we got up the top of the grass path we found Bert was there waiting for Holly! There was nowhere Holly could go 'cos Bert was straight in her face and then he gave her a big lick on her nose!

I told you before, No Tongues!
Holly did a quick flip of her tail and shot past him! of course, she was off her lead and Bert was on his lead so no game of chase then!

Come back! I haven't finished!
Back home it was cage cleaning time, OTL is quite good at that and the ferrets help by making sure to poo on the ground floor only!

Lunchtime,it all changed, no wind, well atmospherically speaking but we can't say the same for Holly!

Yep! Holly still got the Grumbles! You know, she is even off her chicken!

Mind you, while I am typing this, she has pinched my Bonio!

Is that an earthquake or is it your belly rumbling?
Of course, it was Holly!

You know, we couldn't see the horizon, it was more of a dirty skid mark out to sea!

I see no ships, lighthouses or land!
This afternoon OTL was working again, he is just under half way through his manufacturing and we will all be glad when he finishes it!

OK, we are off to cuddle Holly chops before the Whizz Bangs start.

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

It's His Fault, Honest!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!

Sorry about missing yesterday, well, we didn't miss it really, we were ready to go but Old Two Legs had been 'Cleaning Up The Computer'!

He has this program that he runs every week to clear out all the stuff that the computer makes during the week, you know, broken links, cookies and other stuff that slows the computer down. Now he is always looking for ways to speed the computer up and yesterday he found a little box that cleared up bits of memory that he hadn't noticed before, so, he ticks the box and 'Poof!' all his passwords that make the computer talk to the Internetty got zapped and sort of disappeared into thin air!

It took him hours to find all the passwords!

Finally, this morning, he found them and now we are back on line!

Eric was up early, we think it was The Missus clomping about loading up the boxes for the crop today.

Outside the weather was rather warm, in fact pleasantly warm!

The sunrise looked good as well.

On the path from the car park.
OTL managed to catch it just before the sun poked his nose  over the horizon and OTL reckons it is coming over the top of Leysdown-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppy.

He knows everything, just like Holly!

Holly reckons it's Leysdown as well!
OTL spent the morning cleaning cages and playing with the ferrets while Holly and I snoozed on the bed!

Holly wasn't feeling too well, she has the Grumbly Tum and it has reached her butt! I hope it's nothing that Archie Babe has had!

Mind you, I wasn't feel that bright either, so, our lunchtime walk was a little earlier than normal!

Wendy and Monty enjoyed themselves ferreting around in the grass looking for Nargles.

Hey! Seen any good Nargles yet?
It didn't help when Monty walked up behind me and said I had a 'Klingon' on my butt! I mean, he didn't have to tell me in such a loud voice! A girls got feelings you know!

Hey Daisy, you got a dribbly Klingon on yer Butt!
I don't know what he was thinking, I mean, it's not the first time he has seen one, he gets them from time to time if he doesn't lift his tail high enough and that Wendy has got OTL's attention when she gets skid marks up her tail!

OTL already knows and he will fix it later!
I don't know what it is that has upset Holly or even what has troubled my tum but let's say we were being 'careful' today!

Back home OTL got out the washing gear and a warm Doggy Towel and soon fixed us up!

Then, while Holly and I spent time looking out of the bedroom window, OTL was back to 'Manufacturing' and promised to leave the computer alone!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
