Home Alone!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a miserable day it's been. I mean, we started off by getting up a whole hour later than normal and you know, it was still dark when we got down to the beach. The sun was still behind the clouds and Old Two Legs had brought the camera!

Now the sky seemed a little strange cos the sky over Southend on Sea was all red like wot Sheerness Sky should have been!

Red but in the wrong direction!
The next stop was further along the sea front and the sky was all sort of alight but no sun!

The sunrise isn't far away and the sky looks bright.
Then it happened, the sun poked its nose over the horizon and was getting all ready to light up the sky, but, just as the sun appeared the sky went all dark!

OK, who turned off the light?
Well, all this dark didn't last for more than a couple of minutes but as OTL said, 'Strange!'

We saw the Grain Rock, the one with the pussy cat on it, still in the same place. So, we reckon that the Two Legs aren't using their eyes properly!

We were taken out for our lunchtime walk a little earlier than normal, which is a little unusual cos we normally have to wake OTL up to go out!

We got back from a normal lunchtime walk only to find The Missus all dressed up with her high heeled wellies on and before we could ask anything they were off!

That was it, we got left behind for most of the afternoon!

Mind you, that means we get to get up on the sofa and have a good snooze!

We got sent a picture from Rocky and that shows him having a rest on the sofa as well!

OK, get the peanuts out, I'm feeling peckish!
Now, what's all this about Archie Babe not getting rid of the chicken bones? Holly reckons that he must have absorbed them together with his normal food and his Two Legs wasn't filtering his poo properly!

It's the same with our TL's, take today, just after picking up a Holly Poo and tying a knot in the plastic bag. OTL walked down towards the Poo Bin but stopped to take a picture of the sky over Southend when he called out 'Phew!'

It seems that when he lifted the camera up to his eye, the poo bag was still on his fingers and a whiff of Holly came out of the bag and up his nose!

We did have a laugh, these TL's are just not equipped to enjoy sniffs like what us woofers do!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

The North Wind Do Blow and We get Cold!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again.

No sign of chicken bones? Maybe Archie Babe has got stomach juices that dissolve bones like acid!

Today has bee a day for sleeping under Old Two Legs desk and nibbling on a teeth cleaning chew!

This morning it was windy, I mean real cold North Wind type of windy.

After turning right the wind was behind us and while OTL was OK with his big posh coat with a warm inner fleece we had to suffer a cold windy blast up our tails! That was of course until we got into the forest where it all got calmer with the trees breaking up the windy blasts!

In answer to Auntie Sue, no, no sounds of new claws in the office planned just yet. We are having great fun watching Eric and Wendy enjoy each others company. When they are out of the cage they play chase all over the house with Eric chasing Wendy who then rolls onto her back, grabs hold of Eric's ear, gives him a nip and runs off with Eric in hot pursuit!

They are then running through the cardboard tubes and under the shopping bags and not to mention, inside OTL's wellies where they try to rip the lining out of the wellies!

The lunchtime walk was about the same, cold and windy and a frozen butt, until we turn the corner!

One thing we did notice, the Grain Rock is still there in the crook of the tree where OTL left it. Holly says it is too well hidden and maybe we should move it but OTL wants to leave it for a week or so, just to see how long it takes the next before it is found again!

I'm off for another snooze before dinner, so, bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunday Fun.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, a Super Lazy day today, windy to begin with and too dark to take any photos but we were all wrapped up to keep out of the wind.

Soppy Archie Babe, guzzling down chicken bones, I mean, any one knows it is beef bones that are OK but chicken bones will give you a sore butt!

We were heading down to the Sea Wall when we spotted a foxy standing in the middle of the road!

OK, which way to the rabbit holes?
Once it had made up its mind it was off and under the fence and away!

We took the Grain Rock back down to the forest and OTL found a spot half way up a tree to hide the rock. It will be interesting to see just how long it will be sitting in the tree before some one finds it and moves it on to another hiding place!

I suppose I'm alright, like cats climb trees don't they?
So far the computer is behaving it's self so, claws crossed, it's sorted!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

We're Back!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here at last!

I mean, just how long does it take to make a computer work again! You would have thought that with the computers getting so clever nowadays that they would be able to mend themselves!

Well, the computers in this kennel seem to be the sort that get sick and then refuse to get better!

However, I can report, Old Two Legs put another shilling in the meter and, hey presto, it all works again!

So, before it gets sick again, let me tell you what has happened today!

We were out before the crack of dawn, in fact it was dark all the way around our walk but at the end we spotted a cat, well, it was a Grain Rock with a cat on it!

Rocky Cat!
OTL went off for his Anti Flu Jab and came back whimpering and moaning cos they stabbed him with a blunt needle!

We managed to mop up his tears and wipe his nose!

There is some rain coming!
The lunchtime walk was OK, there was the few weekend walkers and a couple of woofers we knew but the sky looked really dismal!

Going through the forest we noticed that other than a couple of leaves, the trees were void of foliage.

Winter is here!
We took the Cat Rock back and installed it in a new place, it will be interesting to see how long it will be before it's 'Found'.

On our way out we asked if Eric and Wendy wanted to come and as both were awake there was a mad scramble to get their harnesses on!

We dropped into the village hall to say hello and we let the ferrets go rather than Holly and I, well, I mean, who wants to get covered with glitter!

There was Rosie and loads of other Two Legs including Rockies mum Christina who told OTL that Rocky still hadn't improved with his manners and she was still getting nipped!

Me? A Hooligan? Never!
Both ferrets had a run and even a run on the beach although most of the time they just wanted OTL to carry them so they could watch the world go by but stay warm in the Ferret Bag!

This sand is damp, quick, back to the bag!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

OTL hates computers and networks and..........

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret again!

Today has been an educating day, you see Old Two Legs has been on the computer trying to get the printer to talk to the network.

Now, because OTL has found some new names for the computer and network both the network and the computer are showing off and have stopped talking to OTL!

You know, I'm right glad I don't have to talk to computers!

It was cold this morning and we had to put our Flying Jackets on over our normal harness, it was OK until we sat down on the frosty grass while we were waiting for OTL to finish talking to four....... yes FOUR Two Legs who were taking pictures of the sun rise! It's not on, that is normally OTL's job!

Mind you, a good snooze soon put us to rights but OTL still had the network to sort out!

Lunchtime there was only one woofer, other than us, and we said hello and of course it was all over OTL like a rash!

We let her off 'cos she is only four months old and has yet to learn her manners!

Can I have a cuddle!
Holly said that Honey, that's her name looks like she will grow up to be a pretty woofer!

OTL crouched down and Honey got her tail tickled and her tummy tickled and then behind her ears!

That was fun, can you do it again?
It's a good job OTL has more than one computer or we would never get a chance to do my diary each day!

Mind you, Archie Babe must have problems when his access to the Internetty is restricted to the Telefonic thing!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Getting back to wot things should be!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Last night was great, we snoozed on the sofa and then jumped onto Old Two Legs lap for another snooze while watching the TV.

We managed a little thievery when dinner arrived and finished it all off with some cheese and biscuits!

We know how to live!

The Missus was up early, as normal and she woke everyone up, including OTL!

We were out before the sun was up but because of the lack of wind, clouds and on top of that, there was ice all over the windows!

Before the sun!
What was super was the colours across the River Medway across to Sheerness.

Just look at that!
We reckon that was a real fuzzy photo but OTL says it has atmosphere!

Holly said it still looked cold!

During the morning OTL managed to get the computers to talk to the network and the network could see the all the computers!

Even OTL admits he doesn't know what he did to make it all work again!

I rather like the idea of a pencil, and a sheet of paper, well it won't crash and loose all the info!

Mind you, it takes longer to write it all and then you have to do a speel chuck!

Eric and Wendy have been out rampaging around the house. Eric did a rampage around the shelves in TM's store room and scared the tail off himself when he pushed a big plastic sheet off the shelf which then crashed into the step ladder and made a terrific noise!

It was all sorted out when he got a cuddle from OTL!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret

Gone!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

They have gone!

We get our sofa back and our own food bowls and treats and cuddles from Old Two Legs!

We can get onto The Missus lap for a cuddle without grumbling at them to clear off and Eric says that he is expecting to have the run of the house tomorrow morning!

OTL has been playing with the printer trying to print some pictures but one computer doesn't want to talk to the network where the printer is and refuses to talk to the network where the other printer is stored and on top of that the program that holds the picture has decided not to allow anyone to use the printing program that has somehow been wiped from the other computer!

Couple that with the mobile phone being a right pig to update with all the files from the old phone that doesn't work and the contacts list is about to land up on the Space Station where it reckons life is a little less fraught!

And you think you got aggro!

We reckon that tomorrow OTL will have fixed it all and be back to square one!

Cross your claws!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Finding Sniffs!

Hell Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Louie, Oscar and Alfie!

It's been a bit of a snoozy day today. First thing this morning the Tesco man arrived and there was The Missus getting into a tangle trying to get dressed before opening the front door.

That gave us all a chance of a quick woof and then back to bed for a snooze until Old Two Legs fell out of bed!

This of course means that TM had to come out in the dark and cold walking Louie on the lead while OTL had Oscar and Alfie on the other leads.

No photo's this morning but at lunchtime we managed to sneak it out so that we have a record of sharing sniffs with these hooligans!

Thes post is the best start!
Then we introduced some of our other woofer mates wee!

OK, here is Bert and Boris and Ollie and Big Sid and the other one is Barney II
We let them get on with it and a bit later they picked up more sniffs but this time it was an old Ferret sniff Eric had left behind a week or two ago!

Hey! We found some more!
Just for a change the sky was blue and the wind had dropped but OTL still wouldn't let us go on the beach 'cos the tide was in and he didn't want the Hooligans falling into the sea!

Shame!

Looks just right for a dip!
We met up with Alfred and both Oscar and Alfie had a sniff and said hello!

Yeah, we are new here as well.
OTL said that the Hooligans were behaving themselves and other than getting the leads tangled, they were good little woofers!

OK lads, get in line or TM will tell you off!
OTL spent the afternoon playing on the computer trying to get the printer to talk to the program that controls the printing colours but so far a sunny day looks like a midnight stroll along the Sea Wall!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Louie, Oscar and Alfie!

Five Woofers out Walkies!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Louie, Oscar and Alfie!

I tell you, being invaded by a bunch of hooligans can be a bit fraught!

We have been getting the 'Pecking Order' sorted and I think we are almost there!

Last night Holly and I got the best spot and the three hooligans got their beds in the bedroom, but on the floor!

A very peaceful night, no woofing, no grumbles and we were up as normal at five thirty, well we were but Old Two Legs made it last until six fifteen!

The Missus was supposed to come out with us but at the last moment decided she should hang around to get the Tesco order which left OTL to take us all walkies in the dark!

There was no real problems, Holly and I were off the lead, as normal, and the rest were on their own individual leads.

One thing about these woofers is they are used to having a poo in the garden rather than save it for when we have our walks which only means that OTL has some shovelling to do after they go home!

We got back home to find that Tesco's still had not come, it's tomorrow that he is supposed to arrive!

You know what  that means? Yep, OTL is out on his own tomorrow morning, again!

Lunchtime was better, we were out in the sunshine and the wind! Still, we introduced the Hooligans to some of our sniffs and they enjoyed a run through the forest. Louie and Oscar managed to slip their harnesses but OTL got them back in and although Louie ran off, he came back to OTL's call, well done that pup!

We didn't take any photo's cos five dogs and a camera was just a little too much, maybe tomorrow when we have settled down!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Louie, Oscar and Alfie.

A Sun Rise and Three Intruders!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, what a change from yesterday. Overnight the wind has dropped and the temperature has gone down and the frost has arrived!

You know we even got to put on our 'Flying Jackets' just to keep the chill out!

It wasn't a heavy frost but it did turn the grass white and on top of that, the car windows were full of ice!

Just imagine what it would be like if that were snow!
We were late in getting up, it was Old Two Legs fault, he over slept and who were we to wake him?

The good thing was that we got to see a sunrise! Now we haven't seen one for ages and it made a nice change to see the sun creep over the horizon.

Looks like a Turner painting!
OTL says that the docks at Sheerness was where the ship The Fighting Temeraire was being towed from and that Turner must have set up his painting stuff on the Isle of Grain!

Of course, OTL just had to take a shot of the trees, well, it wouldn't be a sunrise without them!

Sun and Trees.
Lunchtime came and although there was a breeze it was sunny and a lot warmer than this morning.

One thing we noticed, with the exception of a couple of trees, all the leaves had dropped and the trees were all but bald!
Ready for the snow!
It was late this afternoon that the three hooligans arrived, Oscar, Louie and Alfie. Little monsters they are, they had a go at marking their territory but The Missus explained that weeing up the curtain was not the thing to do!

We all had a run in the garden and although it was dark, none of them fell into the pond, still, there is plenty of time!

Holly and I will have to be careful about our food, the three of them are right little guts and I can see I won't be able to leave my bowl of scoff unattended!

I'm not sure where they are sleeping tonight, I mean, there is just not enough room for OTL, TM, Holly and I let alone three hooligans!

I'll let you know what happens tomorrow!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Louie, Oscar and Alfie.
