We are still stuck!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again.

What happened to the sun? It was out yesterday but today it has been hiding behind the clouds all today!

It looked so damp that Old Two Legs was even considering putting on his green wellies!

On our morning walk we met up with that woofer who was found wandering the streets and was lucky enough to have been fostered by a lovely lady at Christmas time.

Well, this lad has got his confidence and is enjoying his time, so much so that he boldly approached Holly chops from behind to give her a sniff. Well, Holly told him off, in fact she gave him the 'Woofers Warning' and he was rescued before Holly got to upset and caused trouble!

It was after that when Holly started to limp again, even though she hadn't been running or diving about.

It took a little while for her to stop limping but OTL reckons it could be that she twisted it during her 'Woofers Warning'!

After a few yards she was back to normal, trotting along, no limp and sniffing her nose off!

As we got to the woods, we saw the Hawthorne trees covered with blossom and they made an arch over the path, looked very pretty!

Now, don't that look pretty?
Now, we are still looking for a good idea of what to buy The Missus for her birthday. That idea by Sarn to let her choose from the Lavinia Web site, trouble is, she would only choose them all!

I wonder what she would do if she opened up a birthday present only to find a pack of Pasta, mmmm!

Now, the pot of glitter is a good idea but she normally buys the stuff in 50-gallon drums so a 50g pot won't exactly send her heart all of a flutter!

OTL asked if a couple of new ferrets would set her heart a fluttering but Miss Wendy said that if there were any sign of new ferrets OTL would be trouble!

Oh well, it was just an idea!

Now, because OTL and TM have crossed the age barrier, they have decided to 'Self Isolate' which means that if anyone knocks on the front door, they will be instructed to leave whatever they are delivering, on the front door step!

TM is not happy cos her and her mates at the village hall are not meeting and have postponed it all until this thingy is over. Claws crossed it doesn't last too long, I mean, that could even stop our holiday!

I'm off to find a teeth cleaning chew to help me get over that terrible thought!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Spring has got going at last!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it looks like the weather is changing, well, down this end of the world!

Yesterday it warmed up a little and this morning on our walk it was almaost balmy!

Holly and I enjoyed loads of new sniffs on the walk and Holly's limp had gone as well. Mind you, Old Two Legs kept her on a 'short leash' to stop her straining her leg by tearing around the sea front.

We have been missing the sunrise for a while but as we said before, when the clocks go forward we should pick up on the sunrise.

However, that getting up an hour earlier is a real pain in the tail and it takes so long to get used to getting up that early!

The Missus has just received a big box from Martin, (number one son) and that is her first birthday pressy. We don't know what it is and she has promised not to open it until the 26th March.

Not that we believe her for one moment! 😂

Although the sunrise was missed, we did get this shot looking over the Isle of Sheppy.

Well, it's got to be better than rain!
Lunchtime we headed out for out lunchtime walk but we took the big car. OTL explained that a man was arriving soon to mend the windscreen on the small car. We had a big truck throw a stone from its wheel that then landed on the screen of the little car.

Now we have a 'star' on our screen which, OTL hopes, the man will be able to mend!

OTL had to send a picture of what it looks like, so, here it is!

Big innit?
Holly said that from the picture it looks like a bird but when you get inside the car, it looks like a star!

Well, the man turned up at two thirty with his box of tools and some sticky stuff to stick it all together again.

He made a good job of it and you can hardly see the repair!

Now, all we have to do now is to dodge trucks throwing rocks out of its tyres!

We are looking for ideas on what to get TM as a birthday present, Holly suggested teeth cleaning chews and OTL thought we would get told off if we did that!

Eric suggested a new blanket but we decided that was a 'No-Go'

So, any one got an idea!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, it could be a miracle!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Now, you know how much pain Holly was in yesterday, ooh the agony, the pain and she could hardly walk let alone limp properly!

That nice vet sent her home with a bottle of pain killing jollop and a list of instructions for Old Two Legs and a big bill!

This morning Holly jumped down off the bed and trotted down stairs then lept onto the sofa for a cuddle with The Missus.

No sign of a limp but OTL wasn't taking any chances and sent us off for a walk around the football field where we couldn't get a chance to run or jump on the playground stuff!

Lunchtime we managed to get a wander along the sea front and there was OTL walking behind Holly telling her to 'Slow Down' if she looked like she was getting a trot on!

So, Holly has spent today not limping and OTL has been looking at the vet bill and wondering if Holly would have got better on her own!

Holly reckons that it was a miracle the way her leg has got better!

Yeah, I still reckon she was pulling a flanker!

OTL had an appointment with the dentist this morning, just a check-up and after that he was declared as not needing any work, that made him a happy puppy!

Of course, there was the bill to pay but I suppose he didn't mind cos the check-up fee is less than the one where they are drilling holes in his teeth or pulling them out!

OTL has been inspecting Holly's paw checking on any lumps, bumps or excess hair between the pads but all is well, so, we will be keeping on with the jollop just in case she has a relapse!

I see that Auntie Sue is off on her travels again, I bet she is touring all the eating hoses where she is!

OTL has been playing about with the bits of paper again and with a bit of luck he will be almost finished by tonight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
