Daisy and Holly Training to be Huskies!

Daisy and Holly Training to be Huskies!

Hello Woofers!

We had a message from Rocky saying that he has got some extra snow he is giving away to anyone who wants it!

Holly was thinking of collecting some but in the end decided against it as we keep getting the snow sticking to our legs and it stops us running at full steam!

Thanks anyway Rocky, but no thanks!

We have been having fun with Old Two Legs. You see, with all this snow and ice he has to watch how he goes or he may slip over. Now when Holly and I are on the lead we have found that we can get him to speed up!

Holly recons that the harnesses are just like the Huskies wear, so what with OTL calling Slow Down' and Holly going Mush, Mush! It's a race to see who gets more snow on their legs!

 Mush You Huskies Mush!

North To Alaska, North To The Russian Zone

We had some fun trying to write our names in the snow, I had trouble with the letter Y and in the end I changed my name to 'Full Stop'!

Yeah, it's a big Full Stop!

We saw some young Two Legs making a big snowball but we think they didn't read the instructions 'cos there is no way they will be able throw it!

Maybe we could wee over it!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, it's here, just!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, the snow arrived but to be honest, around here it wasn't impressive like wot we were expecting. We were up early expecting to put our snow boots on but decided that we could leave them at home!

We met up with Barney and his mad woofers who spent all the time hunting sniffs!

Sniff too hard and the snow goes up your nose!

We had a good run and even got a couple of rolls! Old Two Legs thought we were rolling in sniffy poo but it was just that we found a small snow drift and had fun winding OTL up!

The sniffs over there!

Holly was having a great time, sticking her nose under the snow then tearing off along the path!

 Look! It's a Snow Dog!

We hunted around and found some rabbit sniffs but they were old and rather stale!

  Rabbits?

I'm not sure of the forecast but if there is a little bit more snow overnight we won't complain, at least we will get a good roll!

We really need the snow to be a good twelve inches or 300mm in new money!

 See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Is this the North Pole?

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

I must say, I'm a little disappointed with the amount of snow that has landed today. I mean, we were told that there will be snow drifts and avalanches all over North Kent but so far all we have seen is ..........

A Blizzard?

When we went out this morning it was raining, how unusual I hear you say! Lunchtime there was a little more than you could see in the photo but still there was more grass to be seen than snow.

What little snow we saw was enough for Holly and I to have a run about and enjoy the odd mouthful as we raced across the golf course!

The weather forecast predicts there will be 'heavy snow' in the next hour, yeah, maybe enough to settle on the ground instead of melting!

As you would guess, the ground is in worse condition and we were worried that Old Two Legs would get his wellies stuck in the mud and we would have to pull him out!

Can you just imagine us having to drag OTL home across the muddy football field!

Holly and I are crossing our claws that there is a little more snow so we can have a play in the garden building a Snow Dig, then we can wee over it and try to write our names!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

No Snow Yet!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Now, don't think I'm getting depressed or fed up with the weather but.........

I AM FED UP WITH BEING MUDDY AND SOGGY!'

Now, just how boring is this?

About the only interesting thing we saw was an Australian Catkin!

Wot? Don't believe me?

 See?

OK, here is a close up!

See you tomorrow in the snow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Thank Gawd It's Friday!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a super day it's been, I mean, first thing this morning it was warm and damp across the marshes. As we crossed the football field, we could see the mist on top of the marshlands and it looked rather picturesque but of course Old Two Legs had forgotten his camera!

It was still all squelchy across the field and the old golf course but we are used to that, in fact I can't remember the last time it was dry!

The weather man says that this weekend is going to be very wet indeed, but mainly up North, I think we may escape the wet down here, I hope so 'cos they also forecast snow!

Now OTL is still working on file transfers so we have to remind him when it's time to go out.

 Oi! It's time for walkies!

Heading off towards Grain we stopped to look over the marshes, you can see the water!

Quaggy or wot!

Down at the beach we saw that the rig is still at Sheerness, we reckon it will be soon time for it to leave, the amount of time it's been there re reckon you could have built a new one!

  Now, that's pleasant sight!

Back home again OTL was back on the computer, I reckon he has three or four days work ahead of him!

We are going to have an early night tonight, providing it isn't raining we think there could be a good sunrise!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
