A Day the Carnival Came to Town!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

We have had a fun day today!

First of all we met up with all the lads down on the beach and I mentioned that Holly had an enormous tongue.

Young Dylan asked if it was as long as his?

Just for fun I can stick it in my collar!
Holly was amazed at the size of it and Dylan said that it sometimes gets in the way when he is eating his dinner and he has to be careful he doesn't chew on it!

Nah! Mine is bigger than yours!
All the time Holly and Dylan were comparing tongues, Miss Wendy was digging a trench using just her nose!
Just like Holly, yer stick it in and then shove!
On the way back home we ran into the Grain Carnival Parade.

There was the Fire Station men who were running around in their Fire Engine squirting water over everyone!

OTL was taking pictures and saying that you don't often see villages doing this any more 'cos of the 'Health & Safety' rules nowadays!

The start of the march!

Of course 'The Committee' has to get in on the act!
There were other groups doing different things like dancing and judo and football and stuff like that.

There is nothing like a 'Boogy Down the Street'
There was one float with the Miss Invicta Two Legs who were waving at everyone who would wave back!

Oh! Look! There's OTL, lets wave at him!
The road was shut off for a whole hour while the parade passed by. It wasn't because it was a big parade but but the parade went all over the place blocking up all the roads in the village!

The Missus enjoyed her day up at the village hall at their 'Crop', so we had a bit of peace and quiet and even got to watch a bit of TV, well, fall asleep in front of the TV!

Tomorrow we have no plans yet, we will have a chat with OTL later and make plans!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

We Love Friday's

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

Friday is one of our favourite days, you see The Missus is happy 'cos tomorrow she is up the village hall doing her 'Master Class'.

Old Two Legs is happy 'cos she is up there as well. That means he gets to watch all the recordings of the TV programs and he gets to put his feet up all day, except when he has to take us out of course!

Today we left the ferrets at home 'cos it was getting too hot for them and to be honest, they would rather tuck up under the blanket in the cage 'cos it was cooler there!

Down on the beach OTL spotted another sailing barge out on the estuary.

Look! It's another sailor!
Me?

Well, I didn't get to go in the water for a paddle. Instead I did what I do best.........................

I had a really good Roll!

First I rolled this way.

Then I rolled that way!
And then I rolled over this way!
And then I rolled over that way!
And finally I rolled over there again!
OK, so I didn't get to dip my claws into the sea but I managed to get sand absolutely everywhere!

I reckon that I must have had a good couple of pounds of sand tucked under my tail by the time I finished!

That's another reason I love Fridays, I get to roll in the sand!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's a Flowery Day today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

No rain today! It's back to sunshine and warm balmy breezes!

We hear that Izzy's mum has been doing the 'One Step Shuffle' after her operation.

'The Physio' says that is good progress and the fact there is movement is even better!

So, more news when it comes!

First thing this morning we were down on the beach when Old Two Legs spotted an old sailing barge on the horizon.

Yo Ho Sailor!
May and Eric came out with us 'cos it wasn't too hot. We all had a trot along the beach and up the hill and they didn't ask to be carried!

Even though they didn't let up on trying to catch Holly and I and give us a nip on our back legs!

Come on, let's grab her leg and scare the woof out of her!
Lunchtime OTL decided that at lunchtime it would be too hot to take Wendy and Freddy out. If a ferret gets too hot then that's not good for them!

Eric said that as long as they had their rampage around the house he wouldn't mind missing out on the midday run!

OTL spent time photographing the flowers along the side of the path as we headed down to the beach.

Now, that's looking pretty!
Not that he found anything rare or special, but the colours look good!

This is the plant where we find the Soldier Beetles
There was this one that had a pretty colour but all it's mates were white!

A DNA Hiccup?
Then there was the stuff that looks like 'Cow Parsley' but OTL says he is not sure, he is more interested in the shape and colour rather than the name!

We like the flower blooms around the edge!
This afternoon we spent guarding the office desk, well, we both stayed underneath on our beds!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

No Paddles Again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

Wot a day, it's all been happening today!

First of all Izzy's mum is getting kicked out of bed to do some walking exercises. She knows that it will be a bit painful but 'Grit Yer Teeth and Suck it Up Girl' it won't last for long!

Pretty soon she will be back doing her ballet dancing!

Then Auntie Sue going for some dustbin lid pills, Holly reckons they are worming tablets 'cos all worming pills are that size!

Never mind, stick some Tomato Ketchup on them and they don't taste so bad!

I have to have a tablet every other day and the only way I will take it is if it is hidden under some Blue cheese and on a small cracker!

Posh or wot?

Down here, last night, it rained and looking at the weather gizmo in Old Two Legs office, it rained twelve millimetres!

That is a lot of rain and it didn't even wake him up!

Mind you, it filled to pond up to the top!

Down on the beach, the tide was out, so no paddles. Freddy said he didn't feel like digging and asked permission to go to sleep or get carried!

That rain kept me awake all last night!
Miss May was not better, she dug a small hole and curled up in it for a snooze!

Wake me up when I've had my snooze!
I didn't get a swim, mind you, the waves were a bit big and on top of that, the water looked a bit mucky!

Well, maybe not today!
Now, Archie Babe, I had to look up wot that thing is they stuck in your leg and I'm glad I've never had one! You must be very brave to have that stuck in you, never mind how many cuddles they give you!

As for collecting poos, OTL collects our poos every day but he throws them in the bin, wonder why the vet wants them?

Do you reckon your poo is worth something? I mean, I've heard of the goose who lays the Golden Egg but never a Woofer doing anything that has gold in it, unless they have swallowed a gold chain!

Let's hope it is all better soon or you start pooing golden balls!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

And then it rained!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

Well, wot a day it's been!

First of all we hear that Izzy's Mum is all OK and she can wiggle the bits that matter and the 'Self Dosing Medication' is a real blast!

Old Two Legs has had the engineer along to fix his rear view mirror. You see when they put a new screen in they didn't put enough sticky stuff on it and after a while, it fell off!

So, first thing this morning, there was the engineer with his bottle of glue all ready to slosh it about and make it all better.

We had a look but couldn't see any glitter, so he was not a 'Crafter'!

Down on the beach we had just got going when a rain cloud came rushing down the River Medway and rained on us!

Miss May was not impressed and demanded a carry back to the car!

My Tail is getting wet, I need a Carry OTL!
It was a good job we had the Ferret Bag with us, so in she and Eric went and commenced to having a fight in the bag!

I think it must be a 'Ferret Thing' 'cos at lunchtime we had the same thing with Freddy and Wendy, mind you, it was only a small tussle, but they refused to come out until they were back in the car!

No Thanks, we are staying here until the rain stops!
OTL spotted the blooms and decided to take a picture but again he forgot the sun was overhead and behind the clouds, so the result is a bit 'flat'!

Can you spot the bugs?
Once again I was prevented from going in for a dip, I mean, Holly gets to have a wander off the lead but I'm still on the lead until we get back up the hill!

Come on, the rain is almost finished!
This afternoon we were left at home to do guarding while OTL and The Missus took the small car to the garage to get it's first service.

We managed to woof at the delivery men who had parcels for OTL and TM! One got so frightened that he left the parcel under the caravan and ran off!

Wot a Wimp!

TM has said that she will be having a chat tonight with Izzy's Mum, if she can stay awake that is!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Still no Paddle!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

Another muggy day with a few clouds!

There may have been some clouds but it still maxed out at 30 degrees here in North Kent!

First thing this morning it was cool enough for May and Eric to come out with us and they enjoyed a ferret around on the beach, digging holes and rolling in the sniff in the bottom of the hole!

Go and find your own sniffin' hole!
Mind you, I found a good sniff and of course, I just couldn't resist a roll my self!

This is how it's done!
Young Eric loves a roll but he really enjoys himself when he is climbing, rocks, chairs or even Old Two Legs bed!

Will I need all my climbing gear on this one?
Lunchtime was a bit of a downer, I got strapped into the harness 'cos OTL had spotted that the tide was in and I was looking a bit to lovingly at the water!

I don't think I'll get a dip today!
I was right, OTL kept me well away from the water!

When we left home it was clouding over and the temperature had dropped and OTL thought that it was OK for the ferrets, well, by the time we all got to the beach it was all stinking hot again, so, the ferrets didn't get their run around.

Miss Wendy had a wander along the beach then climbed back into OTL's arms along with Freddy Boy!

This is getting too hot for me!
I just sat on the beach wishing!

I wish, I wish, I wish!
Back home both ferrets had dried out after being dunked into the drinking bowl so OTL gave Miss Wendy another dunk in the water tray and then a good rub down with one of our towels!

Freddy ran off and hid under his bed, he reckons he was wet enough!

So that really is our day, hot and damp!

So far we haven't heard how Izzy's mum is doing after her operation so, claws crossed, it all went well!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Day at The Show.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Today we get to go to the Kent County Show! It was all rush and tear this morning, The Missus took Holly and I down the beach for our morning walk and Old Two Legs was busy clearing the ferret cages out!

It was about nine thirty that we turned up on site and there was loads of horse boxes all over the place!

You could sniff the horse poo a mile away!

Once we got out of the car Holly and I were all over the place sniffing the sniffs all the way to the entrance!
Just get a load of these sniffs!
We had a walk around the show, stopping every so often for a drink at a well placed bowl of water.
When there was no bowl, OTL got our bowl out and the bottle of water and we had another slurp!

There were woofers all over the place, some doing 'Fetch' demonstrations and the rest of us were just watching!

Mind you, we did see some really soppy woofers, like the one who felt he needed a cuddle when the hunting hawks flew around!
There is always one Bozo!
We stopped into the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue stand to watch some ferret racing! Well, it wasn't so much a race more of a creep along some pipes. The winner was the ferret who got it's tail out of the pipe first!
Is this the right way out?
We all woofed at the ferrets to get them moving but there was always the one who turned around and went back!

Finally there was a winner who seemed a bit confused about why every one was cheering!

Me? A Winner? Really?
The sun was really beating down and we spent a lot of time looking for some shade to rest in while TM went off shopping.

Of course, as soon as we found a shady spot we were joined by another woofer who was getting too warm!
I could just murder a drink now!
Of course we were lucky 'cos OTL had our bowl and at one time he loaned it out to another woofer who was trying to get a drink from a dripping tap! The Two Legs filled the bowl up and the woofer stuck his nose in and didn't come up for air!

I must admit, that water tasted great!

Later on in the afternoon we decided that it was getting too hot and headed back to the car where OTL turned on the air conditioning and before long we had all cooled down!

Back home the ferrets were fast asleep and snoring their tails off!

Tomorrow Izzy's mum is off to get some scaffolding for her back so we all wish her well and get better soon.

We are off to bed now, all this walking around the show has made us tired, so it's an early night for us all!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Now this is strange!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Sorry about yesterday but Old Two Legs didn't get in 'til late and was all worn out after his day at the Kent County Show.

He enjoys his day out photographing people and animals.

OK, That's Breakfast and now it's Pimms 'O' Clock!
One time he used to photograph the animals and contestants but he now looks for the 'Funny or Unusual'!

If the ponies don't arrive soon, will we have to jump over those fences?
The Blacksmith stand is always fun and hot and sweaty! It is difficult photographing without flash 'cos the sun is out and they are all in the dark of the smithy.

Still, he tries!
Is my arse on fire?
It was all hot metal and fire and banging and bending and in the end it became a horse shoe!

OK, where's me 'orse?
So, while OTL was playing up at the show ground we were being looked after by The Missus.

We got taken down to the beach and although I wasn't allowed to go in for a swim, I did get a dig in the sand!
Can I have a swim later?
This morning the sun was hiding behind the clouds but it was still warm and muggy!

How can it be cloudy and still so warm?
OTL took us walkies today and without the lead! I thought I was in luck 'cos the tide was in!

I reckon I will get in for a swim today!
Unfortunately, as we got closer to the beach, I got put on the lead!

Not fair!

Wendy and Freddy had some fun but by the time we got back to the car they were both feeling a bit warm, so, OTL gave them a wash in water from the two metal bottles he keeps in the car.

They were soaking but it did cool them down!

It's going to be a hot run back to the car!
The Missus is in trouble, serious trouble.

You see Archie Babe sent his Two Legs, Auntie Elaine, down to TM's Master Class today and when OTL dropped the car off at the village hall TM didn't tell him she was there.

Naughty TM!

Now she is in the Poo for a change!

We are off to the Kent Show tomorrow to visit the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue stand to see the ferrets and say hello to everyone!

See yo all tomorrow with some fun photo's!

Luv,

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

I'm getting better, I think!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Today we were warned that there maybe some storms with thunder and lightning but all we got was a bit of cloud and a gentle breeze!

Mind you, the temperature we have had lately, a gentle breeze was welcome!

Miss May had fun with Holly Dog. The ferrets have a game where they try to creep up behind Holly and give her tail a tweak, today was no different!

Slowly, slowly, catchy Holly!
Holly has been caught once too often and of course she has been growing eyes in her tail!

Oh! No you don't!
The prize for Miss May is a nice warm hole to have a rest in!

This is nice, and out of the wind as well!
Holly met up with some of the 'Lads' on the Sea Wall and they wanted to know how I was and when they would see me again!

It's nice to be missed!

Hey! Where is Dopey Daisy?
Lunchtime I was allowed down on the beach but I had to keep my harness and lead on so that stopped me going in for a dip!

I could really do a Paddle!
Holly plonked herself down on the sand and tried to catch some rays.

Nearly there!
That was until she felt the sand move behind her. She was just thinking of turning around to see what was happening when Freddy got her tail in his mouth

Gotcha!
Of course Freddy was just 'Over The Moon' to have 'got' Holly Chops!

Tomorrow Old Two Legs is going off to the Kent County Show on his own, so we will be taken out by The Missus and if my luck holds, we will be allowed down the beach, even if I do have to stay on the lead!

Now, Izzy's mum is going into hospital to get scaffolding strapped to her spine to stop her legs from hurting, so we have all got our claws crossed that she gets out soon and back to bouncing around!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sneaky, Sneaky or Wot!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Well, as you know, I've not been a Happy Puppy having to do my 'Walkies' around the football pitch. I mean, you can get really fed up with cats wee and Yorkie Poo!

It has also upset my tummy 'cos I'm a woofer that likes to hide in the long grass and do my stuff and of course, on a football pitch there is no long grass!

Old Two Legs decided that providing I was a good woofer and didn't cause any trouble, (as if!) I could go with him and Holly for a lunchtime walk on the Sea Wall!

Well, I was a good girls and as soon as we arrived in the long grass, I was off like a rocket and ...................POO!

I'll tell you, two days with no poo can certainly produce results!

It was a good job OTL had bought the 'Large' Poo Bags!

Oh! I needed that!
First thing this morning May and Eric went out down the Sea Wall while I had to wee around the Football field. Miss May did her digging exercises!

It's good for my claws!
Back home OTL was doing his morning chores while the ferrets rampaged around the house and Freddy decided he would raid the Ferretone bottle!

He has discovered that he can lick the bottle top and get the Ferretone to dribble out, providing he gives the bottle a good licking!

My tongue is almost worn out!
Now, we have got lots of mates all over the world but this is the first time we have been introduced to a parrot!

Now this is Mr Rocky and he has just arrived at Christina's. He is a bit of a character, loves having a bath and just loves eating!

A bit like Holly Chops!

Introducing Mr Rocky!
Mr Rocky loves his new home and is getting settled down to his new cage!

Now, we are off to mug OTL 'cos he has just got a cup of tea and some Choc Chip Cookies!

Yum Yum!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
